This was our first experience with Korean food. A wide range of authentic menu options. The owner came to our table and helped us cook our food, I think he saw us struggling and took pity. Very friendly staff! Over all a great experience and one I hope to repeat in the future. read more

The food was okay. Service was very little. There were several very concerning things regarded to sanitation. My daughter used chopsticks and not her fork. When we were finishing up we watched the waitress pick up her fork and take it to another table. read more

This place is super legit, the food was amazing. I tasted about four different dishes and let me tell you there's not one that is bad. Staff is super friendly, and kind, I would definitely recommend this place if you were in Longview, and you must try it! read more

There is a variety of dishes; I've tried multiple and they all have been good; I've yet to be disappointed. I've only ever dined-in, but when doing so you receive a soup, salad and four side dishes, one of which is always kimchi, but the other three can vary. (maybe a lapse in marketing to not mention this fact on the menu, as the prices reflect this - makes the asking price worth it for the more frugal) The side dishes are not "American sized" but there is an art to eating the traditional Eastern way; the sides offer a means to achieve a great variety of flavor-combinations in one setting. And I'm sure they will be refilled if you finish one, but with the way I eat I've never needed to. The way the meal is prepared has a balance. The owners a kindly, and have a good work-ethic; when I can't finish all my food and get it to-go, I'll get some sides with it and sometimes another soup. read more

Authentic. Disappointed in hot tea pot- 1 small Kroger teabag for 8 cups with a $1.99 price tag! Nice surprise when I was brought 5 small salad dishes - cabbage with a light sesame ,kimchi, pickled cucumber, pickled beansprout, lettuce. I ordered the pork and tofu soup combo. Also unexpected and very good. Great for the white guy and gal with adventuresome tastebuds in Longview, Texas. read more

My husband and I were looking for something new to try, so we decided to give Korean BBQ a shot. We ordered the grill on the table option and I'm so glad we did! The whole experience was really awesome and honestly, I'm surprised we even have something like this in Longview since diversity isn't the first thing that comes to mind when you think of this city lol. I would have given it 5 stars, but the quality of the meat definitely could be better. It was really fatty and cheap meat that was used on the grill. The marinade was absolutely delicious, but I'm sure if a better quality meat was used it would be out of this world. I definitely recommend everyone to try this place out at least once because I definitely think it has potential! read more

Authentic Korean food, always hot and all cooked to order. The absolute best restaurant in Longview. Hands down.

Food is amazing!!!!! My mom is Korean and I just moved to this area so it's nice knowing there is authentic Korean food that tastes so great close by! It's even great to get to-go for lunch! I've already eaten here like 5 times since I moved here 2 1/2 weeks ago! read more

no english. better know what you want by pointing to a picture. hummm

Excellent food, artfully prepared. Interesting true Korean sides like kim-chi and acorn jelly. I had the beef bimmibap (spelling is probably wrong.) It's not an actual buffet, more cafeteria style. The staff went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Super fresh! Excellent food! They are a new establishment. read more

From out of town stopped for lunch. My husband is not a big fan of any Asian food could not get him to stop eating. We LOVED it would even drive the almost 2hrs to come back again. Loved it read more

Delicious, authentic Korean food at a good price with wonderfully friendly service! Korean food is extremely healthy so you can eat a ton and not feel bad about it. Plenty of fresh vegetables and delicious meats! I used to have to go all the way to Dallas to get Korean food but now I just go down the road. I am so grateful we now have this option in Longview! read more

This place has potential to be. It needs better service and better atmosphere. The waitress did not speak English and she hardly came to check on me and she kept talking to her friends and customers on the other side of the store. read more

This is a new Korean restaurant in the area. We tried the first time they opened and I would say that they were still trying to hone their service and tweak their offerings. Fast forward to 4 months later and we tried again. This time, I would say they finally found their bearings and changed their menu. I had their beef bulgogi with their spicy seafood soup and it was so delicious and flavorful. My wife had their tofu bibimbap and she was not disappointed. Our waitstaff was one of the owners and although her English communication skill was limited, she was very patient and kind and made sure our dining experience was worthwhile. Overall, we were glad we went a second time to try it again. We will definitely come back and sample their other dishes. Try it and experience a different kind of cuisine other than Mexican, Chinese and American offerings. This place needs to thrive so we can have many other dining choices in this area. read more

Have been here twice now for lunch. Fresh salad and soup comes first. Lunch entrees around $9-10. Includes kimchee and a variety of other Korean accompaniments, like spicy pickled cucumber and bean sprouts. Nice Mom & Pop feel. Brought us ice cold watermelon with the check. We obviously went back and will do so again. read more

I seriously question the two most current reviews. If this is their idea of "good" Chinese food, it clearly was somewhere else. This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The taste was off on several items. Most of the food in the buffet table was anything but hot. Without saying anything the manager offered to have one item made fresh. Sadly the fresh food wasn't any better. I had to hide the fresh food in the soup so I wasn't blatantly rude about his efforts. The hot and sour soup was only sour. Only one item from the buffet table was worth finishing. It was the only hot selection. For this reason I did not finish the rest. I had to put one star so I could write a review. I do want taken into consideration that I went in the middle of the week past 7pm. There were only two parties there, me being one of them. 80% of our plates remained after our first trip to the buffet. We did not return for a second go. I am not a Longview resident, so try to rely on yelp reviews. I do come into town every other month for a Dr appt though. The business is proud of their previous glory (yelp reviews printed and posted at the entrance). I have no ill will toward the business, but I sincerely hope they take heed - please fix the temperature issue with the steam table. Someone will get seriously sick. Do an audit of your current cooks efforts. Most of the recipies need some quality control. Hot and Sour soup needs to completely reworked. Sesame chicken tasted correct, and was the only one at the right temperature. Good thing its hard to screw up a DQ blizzard...serously! read more

Wasn't impressed with the food. It's possible it was just what we ordered but neither me or my stepfather will be returning there

A small quaint restaurant where the food is served hot and tasty. Plenty of choices on the buffet. A fairly good desert bar as well. It's been awhile since I ate at a Chinese buffet where everything was hot! I highly recommend this place. read more

Amazing authentic Korean food is just great the hot pot says is for two but can easily feed 3 the waiter is super kind they give you a small portion of salad as entree and at the end a piece of watermelon definitely one of my favorite places in Longview read more

Here's the deal. I like Hunan. But only because it is cheap, is value for money, and they have lunch and dinner buffets, and the spread is quite plentiful -- but it's typical MSG fired American Chinese food where there are 2 base sauces, that I'm sure aren't fresh, and the protein and spices rotate to create multiple dishes. For example - the sedans chicken and general tso's chicken have the same sticky glaze sauce! But for that price I'm ok with it! They have a familiar and satisfying spread -- chow mein, egg fried rice, ginger garlic chicken, general tsos chicken, herbed salmon, spring rolls, battered fried shrimp, popcorn chicken, fried fish, pork ribs, garlic fish, chicken and broccoli, and way more. They have a steamer with dumplings as well at the end of the spread so be sure to grab some. They have some fruits and pudding for dessert, but the steamer also has some red bean dumplings which is my favorite part of the spread! This is a good place for college students. But the owners might bully you into tipping -- don't fall for it! read more

This is the only Korean restaurant in the area. My first impression is some of the wait staff lack experience and buffet usually is a turn off because you don't know if the food has been there all day. We chose to order off the menu. We ordered bulgogi and Korean brisket, egg rolls fried dumplings and dumpling stew, they brought a grill to our table and showed us how to cook the marinated meat. Kimchee, salads, more soup, bean paste, and lots of small dishes of unknown things to me. We ate it all! So good! If this place trains its very new wait staff, gets rid of the buffet and shows their patrons the Korean hospitality the chef showed us they will do well, but if they don't be more attentive people will leave before the even give it a try (we saw this actually happen). We will eat here again, and hope they get the kinks ironed out. read more

Best Chinese food we have had in a long time especially the egg rolls and steam dumplings not a large Resturant but food is great.

The food overall wasn't too bad; it was mostly all hot. However, the shrimp weren't cleaned properly (digestive tract still in place), and the selection was pretty small. Outdated decor. Price wasn't that much cheaper than going to the big buffet in town... I dunno. It was convenient to where we were in town, but probably won't come here again, primarily due to lack of buffet selection and improperly cleaned shrimp. read more

New favorite restaurant in Longview. You can easily have a huge delicious lunch for an average price. Have been several times now, and everything has been delicious, fresh, and (as far as I know) authentic. I truly hope that more people start eating here to support this new local gem. I would be heartbroken to see this place go under. read more

Tried the lunch buffet , not as many options as others buffets places but the food here is better cooked and taste good

I started eating here in 1981 when we lived in Longview, at least once a week, until we left in 1989. Being ardent Chinese food fans, and not being able to find good, classic chinese food in DFW (believe it or not) we stopped through the years when we could, but hadn't been there in at least 10 years when we stopped by and brought the entire family. It was as good as ever. I had the Schezuwan Beef with hot and sour soup. Don't expect eyepopping ambiance, but the place is clean and the staff prompt and curteous. BTW, we ordered off the menu and didn't go to the buffet. read more
