Unfortunate flop. Wanted to love this place. I had been eyeballing it for months since I have to smell it every time I leave the gym. I figured this new place would no doubt be a slam dunk. Guess that's why we don't assume! We came in and the service was great. But the whole experience felt like a glorified Panda Express. Two entrees, one side of crab Rangoons and no drinks was close to $40. Which the cost is fine for food - just not food that tastes like panda express's big brother. Our first visit during the lunch rush. -1 star purely for the wait. We ordered at 12:34 and received our food at 12:54. As soon as we started eating, we definitely realized why. The food is some of the freshest tasting Asian food I've had! They obviously make the food to order and it's not premade like with Panda Express and similar Asian restaurants. The service was fantastic. One of the servers noticed that we were still waiting and said "I feel like you guys have been waiting, I will go check on it for you". And about 5 minutes later, she brought it out to us. There were people wiping down tables after people left and making sure the drink machine area was picked up. Very diligent employees. As far as the food, I ordered the Chicken Katsu, a sliced fried chicken bowl with fried rice. The rice had good flavor and the chicken was tender, juicy, and so crispy on the outside. The teriyaki sauce was in the table and is some of the best teriyaki sauce I've had. A wonderful flavor with sweet notes. My boyfriend ordered the orange chicken and fried rice and it was also fresh tasting. Very comparable to Panda Express orange chicken, but had a crispier texture since it hasn't been sitting in the sauce and again tender and juicy. A Pepsi establishment, much to my Diet Coke drinking boyfriend's disappoint haha. We will definitely be back, we will try a less busy time next time. read more

First time checking this place out. Only reason they did not get five stars is they were out of the Chicken Katsu, but the other dishes we ordered were terrific. We enjoyed orange chicken and chicken teriyaki. The family enjoyed the sauce that came with the egg rolls. We will be back! read more

Ok, Teriyaki Madness. I've been eyeballing you for about the past week or two, and I decided to give your food a try via the DoorDash app. I ordered the Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Bowl with fried rice, an eggroll, and a large drink. I got the spicy teriyaki chicken, because the app said that this is the staff favorite, which is usually a big claim when the staff say something's good. I will address the claims that this is just a better version of Panda Express in this review. In terms of the food in the bowl, you have a decent product. I did like the heat level and the flavor of the food. The chicken had some nice charring on it, which is what you want from teriyaki chicken, and the vegetables and rice weren't terrible either. The eggroll did taste a bit prepackaged though, but I will overlook that, because that teriyaki sauce could fix a broken heart. I do find that what I ordered was a bit pricey though. I will admit that. $18.55 before the delivery fees, sales tax and tip. Is it like Panda Express? I think the food is overall better than that. I like your food, but I may only get it once in a blue moon, because of the price tag. read more

I've been to Teriyaki Madness a couple of times: once on a weekday afternoon, and most recently on a Sunday evening. The food and the service were MUCH better on the weekday. I think I may have found out the reason for the name "Teriyaki Madness". More on that later. The ambiance is OK. Being in a strip mall, the parking lot may be filled up in front of the store, so be prepared to walk a bit. There are limited booths inside, but they are comfortable. The food: I would recommend the pot stickers and the chicken breast Teriyaki bowl. The Teriyaki sauce is the best I've EVER had, and fortunately, I noticed that each table in the dining room had its own bottle of teriyaki sauce (on the weekday) which allowed us to season our food/rice the way we like it. We made the huge mistake of returning on a Sunday evening at 7:24 pm (they closed at 8 pm). Immediately I noticed when we arrived that there were NO bottles of teriyaki sauce on any tables. It looked as though they were closing at 7:30. My wife assured me they were open until 8. When my wife placed our order, the young lady with braided hair quickly asked if we were there to pick up an order. We said "no", to which she said (with attitude) that we would have to wait a long time for it, as they were very busy. We requested our order "to go". She continued to act exasperated at having to take another order, and was especially talented at hinting that she did not like being there nor making customers feel welcome. She and some of the cooks rejoiced when it was almost quitting time. At about 7:47, while we were seated at a booth by the front window, the same employee (braids) ran over to the lighted "Open" sign and yanked its chain loudly to turn it off. A minute later, she started counting the coins in the register drawer. She was upset when she was interrupted by another arriving customer. At about 8 pm, the same employee brought our order to the table, tightly tied-up, which I had to untie to inspect. The order was MISSING 8 pot stickers that we had paid for. After consulting our receipt and other staff, she produced the pot stickers. There was VERY LITTLE teriyaki sauce in the bag. We had over $60 in food, with 4 entrees and two large orders of pot stickers, so we needed more sauce. I asked the braided lady (nicely) if we could borrow one of their bottles of teriyaki sauce to add it to our bowls prior to leaving, and she said "no". She offered a couple more tiny containers of sauce, but it was not sufficient. She said she had no more. I asked again if I could quickly borrow a bottle of sauce, and would gladly pay extra for it. Again, she said "no", stating the bottles were "put up for the night". "Teriyaki Madness" is an appropriate name for this business. That sauce is great, but it is maddening and it SUCKS when the employees have so little regard for their customers that they take it away EARLY on the weekend, deny access to it, and display a nasty attitude to those paying big bucks for their food. Oh, goodness. This place is really great. It's like a healthy version of a certain panda-related restaurant. TM offers good sized portions, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. What else could you hope for? Hot food and unlimited drink refills? An app that can get you a discount for loyalty? Yep, they have all that, too. The meat was well seasoned and the noodles had the best texture. And the food actually had some spice to it and it wasn't overwhelming. I love that they have tofu on the menu as well. Makes me extremely upset to see these negative reviews. As someone who comes fairly often to see this level of false and exaggerated information is absolutely unbelievable. Especially considering they came in before closing and got mad at people for doing closing duties? My employees also take down the sign 15 minutes before close and begin to count registers because generally we can no longer take anyone. And judging someone, especially at the end of a long shift is so embarrassing. Some people need to learn to have some class and grace! I hate to see a fantastic and friendly business be brought down by such negative people! But the prices are a bit ridiculous ($15+ for a chicken and rice bowl w egg roll and drink - altho prices everywhere are crazy these days), and the service was disappointing.
