Hot and sour soup
Sarah W.

We stopped here on our way to Houston. Not going to lie, it was dark when we pulled up and there were not many cars, looked a little sus. However, the food and service were awesome! We ordered two hot and sour soups (so, so good), two egg-rolls (I would come just for those), jalapeño Rangoon, garlic chicken and yen sho beef (both delicious) plus two ice teas for only $36. Phone was ringing like crazy for take out and customers steadily streaming in and they handled it well! Food came out fast and hot, drinks stayed refilled. Definitively worth the stop!

Shrimp, Beef and Chicken Pad Thai

This is good Chinese Food.....a popular place in Marshall! It is made to order every time. We have been here maybe a dozen times over the years.... Oriental Food is not really our go to food but if it was we probably would be here more. We have liked everything we have eaten from the General Tso Chicken to the Potstickers, the Combination Fried Rice or Shrimp Fried Rice, the Fried Wanton and the Egg Drop Soup and the Egg rolls..... All but the Pad Thai which we were excited about but have had much better. The setting is in an old restaurant.... like an old Del Taco or something. It fits in the experience. You always get some fortune cookies and we once all got some negative ones as a group which was funny. It is a good visit usually.

Twice cooked pork.

Don't be fooled by the building. We agree with the reviews that the food and service is excellent. Prices are reasonable too!

Good, cheap Chinese! Best one in Marshall. I don't like buffets much and so this is the place in Marshall.

Panda Korea is awesome! We visited while out of town picking up family at the airport and decided…read moreto try this place out! We walked in and it was very quiet and only one other patron. The place is definitely older but everything was clean and comfortable. We were sat right away and asked for our drink orders. Drinks came back to us within a minute or two and then our waiter (probably the owner as well) took our app orders. We ordered the Kimbap and and a Kimchi pancake. A few minutes passed and the sweet older lady brought out our Kimbap and WOW was it amazing! Warm, fresh, and oh so delicious. The best I have ever had! Then we got the kimchi pancake and again wow! Hot, crispy and so, so tasty! And lastly we ordered the Bulgogi Jeon Gol Hot Pot! It arrived to the table bubbling and steaming and smelling so yummy! We started to dig in and there was sooo much meat and veggies and the glass noodles were just perfect! We ate until we could not eat anymore. I wish we lived closer because we'd go back over and over again especially with the cheap prices but we will definitely try to return when back in Longview! GO EAT HERE!

Kimchi pancake was a great appetizer. The beef comes out sizzling fajita style and has great flavor. Interior of the restaurant is dated, and the vibe is casual.

My party and I had a wonderful experience at Chen's Garden in Shreveport. We started with the crab…read morerangoons, which were fried perfectly with a rich, flavorful crab filling. We also tried the soft-shell crab--it was beautifully presented and tasted incredibly fresh. One guest ordered the seafood combination dinner and said everything was well-cooked, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The fried rice that came with the seafood dinner was cooked very nicely with egg and great texture. Another had the orange chicken, and although there were several chili peppers in the sauce, it wasn't too spicy--just right. The orange flavor really came through, and everything was fried crisp, not soggy. I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix dinner (General Tso's chicken and shrimp with onion and ginger slices), and it was hands down the best General Tso's I've ever had. The shrimp were beautifully cooked, and I opted for lo mein instead of rice--it was fresh, lightly sauced, and not oily at all. This is not a buffet, and honestly, it felt like stepping back 40 years to when Chinese restaurants were more intimate, authentic, and personal. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the time from ordering to receiving our food was impressively quick. I highly recommend this hidden gem. They also offer sushi and a variety of lunch specials (we visited outside of lunch hours), and everything looked so good that I'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

I would skip the sashimi; it was of mediocre quality. However, considering it's Shreveport and this is a Chinese restaurant, that is to be expected. The California Roll in the combo was delicious and well-made.

My MIL insisted we stop here on our way to her family Christmas in East Texas. It was fine in there…read moreand they have a stir fry station where you can pick your meat and toppings and sauce and they will cook it for you but something got me and my husband, we were laid up the rest of the night. Typical buffet fare otherwise, even some sushi in the back but I'm not so sure about that. The rice and noodles were fine and the soup station was warm.....the service was very nice so I gave an extra star for that. I am not sure when we are in this neck of the woods we would stop by again though.

The bathroom was ghetto. The food was below average. The cleanliness of the buffet was…read morequestionable. They had an extended area for the buffet that consisted of store bought desserts. However, they had sushi right next to the brownies, a big rack of meat next to the cheesecake and other sorts of unappetizing desserts. It looked like a factory of salmonella. The short waiter was very sweet. The tall waiter was questionable. My table ordered various drinks and he came out with random unsweetened teas. He asked for my drink order, and I said coke. He saw the unsweetened tea that I did not order and told me "don't worry about it, just drink that. That's fine, you don't need coke." Then, he asked for my drink 4 times, to which I responded 4 times with "coke." If you go there with high hopes of satisfaction, you will be humbled with regret. There's also a strange fart/poop smell that lingers around the restaurant, beware! I came with a group of students. One of the students had some sushi at the buffet. Once we arrived at the school, he ran to the bathroom and threw up. Another student threw up an hour later, causing her to stay in the bathroom for 30 minutes.
