I have lived at my property for over 25 years and I have had quite a few maintainance, repair and replacement done on equipment. My experience with the team from Panda HVAC was the most positive experience I have ever had with any contractor. This included my interaction with Tanya in the corperate office, who was instrumental in setting up all of my appointments. She was always pleasant and patient when explaining all charges. When the 1st team arrived (Imam and Thomas) my 1st thought was, "Oh no! How is it possible these guys are going to be able to handle such a big job of replacing my furnace and AC unit." They looked so young! Well, after their 1st day, I was completely impressed with both Iman and Thomas' professionalism and their level of expertise. Imam had scheduled vacation time during this project and he was replaced by Nazar a few days after. Nazar was equally skilled and I felt reassured that I was in good hands. There were a few unexpected challenges along the way but both Nazar and Thomas met them with great solutions. I was impressed with how neat their work was. They both went above and beyond every step of the way. They were both excellent trouble shooters! Even though this was a costly poject, I am so thankful that I chose Panda HVAC. We have had an AMAZING experience with Panda. They recently updated our heating and cooling system and the results have been game changing. We live in an old building where our previous hvac system was not consistently heating / cooling each room. After getting multiple quotes and options, we opted to work with Panda and it was the right decision. They were flexible with our schedules and designing a work plan that worked with us given we were working at home at the time and had a toddler. They were far and away the most cost effective solution and met an aggressive timeline that we had to install the new system and we continue to be happy with the work they did for us. They are professional crooks! I wanted to installed two Mitsubishi VRF system HAVAC's in my house, one in the living room and other in the basement. They came to my house, they did an inspection of the amount of BTU power I need. After a few days of waiting just for an estimate, they finally emailed me the proposal. This crook company charged me the amount of $13,000, that's correct, 13 thousand dollars just to installed two HVAC's. I wanted to email them back and cursed them out! I mean, a 18,00 BTU HVAC from Mitsubishi cost about $2800 each. I mean, I'm not a math expert, but, that doesn't add up to 13,000 dollars. Could someone please explain to me why they charge me so much??? I don't know where they got 39 5 stars reviews from according to google, but this company are a bunch of crooks and they only want your money and nothing else! We had a leak in our new York a/c installed in 2017 and called Panda to solve the problem. They had been servicing the unit since 2018. It turns out there were leaks in the coil unit of the air blower and in the pipes. We recently bought the house and did not know where the pipes were, so instead of making holes in ceiling and in the walls, we decided to have the technicians install new pipes and run them through my husband's closet, along the wall beside our bed, and along the outside brick wall to the condensing unit below. The technicians did a great job installing and insulating all the pipes (including a protective casing inside and outside) and installing the new coils. It was a big job which lasted two days. They helped us clean up everything afterwards and put the furniture back into place. Everything looks great and is easily accessible. Vlad and his assistant were a very professional team and Tanya in the office kept me informed as to the schedule which depended on when the part she ordered would come in. When I had a whacky idea that was unconventional they not only entertained it but figured out how to make it work. The crew was courteous, friendly, clean, flexible and fast. They seem like really nice people when you meet them in person. But after they finished cleaning my ducts, I found out that I was misled. I've heard that you need to be very careful with HVAC duct cleaning companies and unfortunately, it was the case here. So please be careful. Make sure you do the following with this company: - When they say that you need certain work done, personally verify their claim. - And when they give you prices on the different options, get competitive bids from other companies to make sure they are not overcharging you. But reading other reviewers, I'm not sure I would use them in the first place. (I might be wrong but it looks like Jessica, the girl who takes their phone calls, wrote this company their good review. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY!!!! My Tip- Stay Away!!!! Markiiaan Khrobak, the owner, is not trustworthy. Stay away from New York Air Duct & Green Aire Care, as well. The deal on Amazon Local will get you this subcontractor. They say they don't subcontract, but this is who will show up. Panda-Cleaning destroyed my central air. They caused a huge leak and destroyed my walls & ceiling. I should have been made aware of any risks. I signed a contract and the contract had a place to mention any pre existing conditions. Which is what they blamed the leak on. They came back the next day, at 2:30!!!! Markiiaan Khrobak and his associate were in my ventilation system for over two hours. I don't know what was done. He took the blame and took it back more times than I can remember. I asked him to call his insurance company, but he refused. He left my home in shambles and left me with no ac in 80+ degrees. He offered to fix it, but with no guarantees. I asked to hire a real repairman, at his cost. He refused and literally ran away. He lied about being partners with New York Air Duct Cleaning. He wouldn't or couldn't give me the last names of his "partners". They all left me with a huge mess. Please STAY AWAY!!!!!!
