Beverage station was a disaster - completely wet with soda everywhere

This place is absolutely disgusting and a health hazard. It looks like it hasn't been clean ever. See the photos. In addition to the incredibly dirty and unsanitary conditions, the food was unsurprisingly terrible. A low selection of very bland options. Ice cream maker was down so we didn't try that. Everything was self-service, including drinks and silverware. There was a young man collecting plates but they was the only service. For my family - two adults and one child, the total was $48! Save your money and go elsewhere. Worst Chinese buffet we've ever tried.

Was there when we came in.

Cold food, could use TLC, Wonton aren't crispy, soda fountain over carbonated, squid wasn't even warm, obviously they need a microwave for customers to use so they can have hot food. Health Department needs to be called. Employees handling food without changing gloves from clearing tables

BEWARE!!! I've ate here 2 times recently. Prior time I got Extremely sick. I spent an entire day in and out of the restroom sick. I missed a day of work because of this, because I was still sick the next day. 7/5/21 I thought I'd try it again. BIG MISTAKE!!! I had extreme intestinal pain and spent the rest of the day/evening on and off in the bathroom. Ruined my plans for the evening. I'm still having issues today. My vacation day is shot now. Don't eat here. I gave it 2 tries just to make sure it wasn't something else the first time.

Located on the corner of Larpenteur and Lexington, this place sort of blends in. It's apart of the strip mall full of many choices like Home Goods, Elite Nails, Anytime Fitness, Johns Tailors and so much more. On the bus line, and near the locals "shopping center" we found this option by googling "buffets near me." We walked in to a woman sitting on her phone, we weren't greeted but she said "how many" as if she was annoyed, and continued to stay on her phone. My father stated "2" and she stood up, quoted the price of around $25 and tossed the table "reservation" sign at us (it mentions not to waste and to ask for help if needed) Now that we've been standing here for about two minutes, she still hasn't made eye contact with us. I chuckled in frustration and walked away, because I absolutely HATE terrible customer service. At this moment she looks up with slight concern on her face, because- excuse my French- she knew she had us f***** up. If it were up to me, we would have turned around and left but I was with my father and I bit my tongue. They didn't deserve our support. The way she carelessly tossed the sign across the less than 12 inch counter replays in my mind, and I think of a multitude of ways I could karate chop her in her throat (not really, but a girl can dream.. right?) We seated ourselves in the last booth near the restrooms, which was perfect because I was disgusted at the sight of the cashier. The young lady who cleaned our tables did a great job at smiling and being prompt. Kudos to her, she's the best. My dad and I had a really great time, trying new things and suggesting things to one another. The food was OK. I loved the clams and they have a good selection for anyone on a pescatarian diet, like myself. For the first time in a long time, I treated myself to a little desert to sweeten up the sour experience I had walking in. Ice cream with sprinkles will bring the kid out in you. If you read any of my reviews, very rarely do I have this disposition. I really want to make sure you understand how unkind our initial interaction was and how displeased I was that we stayed after being treated in such a manner. However, I can not deny that I was pleased with the menu, and finding some foods that cater to my diet. (Not many, but some) Would I go again? Maybe I'd give them another shot. I enjoyed spending time with my dad, the meatless options they had, and how the entire restaurant is self serve. 1 Star for location, 1 Star for food and 1 Star for the waitress who gathered our plates.

Love the vibe from the workers everyone's nice they seem to make sure their is fresh food every 15 minutes and we're very intent on bussing table and keeping them clean the food was decent we came at a weird time so the general tsp was a bit still but it was awesome !

This place is your average buffet. Not too pricey, but it's run self-serve/pay like a Sizzler (youngins ask some one older about this reference). We came on a Friday night at around 8, so some of the food options showed some age. The decor was pretty basic and somewhat clean (table was a little sticky as was soy sauce bottle). Food wasn't the worst I've had, but also not the best. The flavors seem a little off - somewhat artificial. But hey, some chinese buffet-ers love that. My teenage daughter loves noodles and is somewhat of an expert since she eats them so often. She says they scored a 3.8 out of 5. I would recommend this place if you are hungry for basic buffet and can't bother to drive a couple more blocks for something else.

In…read morere-reading my reviews, I stand by everything I've said about the excellent consistent quality of the food, the service, and how much I enjoy coming to this restaurant. I truly hope they are around longer than I am. I would hate to find out this was one of the choices no longer available to us. Please read my previous reviews for a more inclusive view; this review focuses only on their lobster. I had previously mentioned that they prices of their lobsters (I love the version with black bean sauce) have gone up tremendously. While true, there seems to have been a subtle change in their pricing strategy. Previously (as of before the pandemic), the lobster was priced by the pound, which is the conventional way of doing it. However, they seem to have two lobster prices. The first one is called "Big Lobster" and they say it's between 2 and 2 and half pounds per lobster. The price of that (as of this review) is $56 dollars, or $28 per pound. That's not really a bad price at all. It's expensive, but reasonable. The other lobster is called "Live Lobster" and is priced $10 less at $46. So the real question is how much does this second version weigh? I ordered the Big Lobster, but they said they were out of it. I asked the weight of the "Live Lobster" but I didn't really get a straight answer, but he seemed to say "about two pounds" which doesn't really make sense because that's the price of the larger, more expensive lobster. But I decided to go for it anyway. As I stated in my last review, I'm guessing this lobster is at least two pounds, based on many years of eating lobster. For this review, I had ChatGPT translate the the Chinese on the menu, thinking it was secret code for "if you can read Chinese, save ten dollars by ordering this version" but AI says the Chinese means "lobster" so if you spoke Chinese, you'd still be mystified. So my recommendation is order the version that is ten dollars cheaper and you may (or may not) be paying $23 a pound. Price aside, I love this version of lobster and it is certainly a better deal than what you would pay at an American style seafood or steak restaurant in the Twin Cities.

It was nice visiting and enjoying some of our previously go-to dishes. The soft shell crab made with golden garlic style was as delicious as I remembered, although at a much higher price now ($44+) for the dish. The seafood soup was a nice start to our meal, would have been even better if they had red vinegar. The mapo tofu and eggplant dishes that we ordered ended up being very similar in taste/sauce/seasoning but still pretty good. The service was pretty fast and the staff was friendly.

The server was very friendly and informative, even joked around with us a little. It didn't look like reservations were needed, except maybe on busy days like Mother's Day. The food was amazing. Potstickers were, of course, super good, but so was everything else. Portions were generous. I got the pork belly fried rice and I think I have enough leftovers for another three or four meals. There is a small parking lot in back, but you have to walk around the building to get to the door. I would say it is not handicapped friendly. If you park in back it would be hard to get to the door unless you are able to make it half way around the block. If you park in front it is just street parking. My dad uses a walker and we were lucky enough to get a spot right in front of the restaurant, anything else would have been a problem. Spacing inside the restaurant is pretty tight as well. Once dad sat down they had to take his walker into the back because there was no room in the seating area. We were packed in pretty tightly and very close to the table next to us. Overall, delicious food! We will be back!

If you like sweet and sour chicken, this dish is for you. Chicken mushroom noodle soup was a little bland. But I was sick, and this was filling, warm and heartfelt. They also gave generous amount of black mushroom, which I really like. I would not get this soup if I am not recovering from cold or not sick. Chili oil was also tasty and you can tell it's made in house. But, if you are a vegetarian or don't eat a lot of meat, your options are very limited. Service was fast and you can even scan menu and order directly through the code. Vibes are cool and we went around 4. So it was quiet and chill. We will be coming back!
