Absolutely terrible customer service and they act like you are an inconvenience to them to be there. Definitely would not recommend. Attention to the general manager: please retrain your staff to be more customer service oriented and greet your customers with respect. Also I would probably ask them to speak louder than a whisper and when you answer dont act like its an inconvenience to be served. 3/4 cooks wore gloves and one did not nore was anyone on the line besides one guy. With food gloves should be on all the time not just when they want too event though they were busy still gloves is a must. Im going to walk through my experience step by step we first pull into the drive through to order when the lady starts to ask us what we want she could hardly hear is through the speaker once we had our food ordered we pulled up to the window and got the wrong order( we ordered a bigger plate of chow main orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp and spring rolls and a plate of mushroom chicken chow main and spring rolls with two medium pops) instead we got a plate of two of the same first order so we ask them to change it and they give us back the food my passenger order but said that i didnt ask for spring rolls even though i did. We also got two pops one of them had no taste/out of syrup so we asked to get a different one and we did but when we left it also ended up having no syrup either. We had two separate orders. Lady working the drive through said she could only take one transaction per vehicle. She asked us to park come inside to place second order and then proceeded to advise us that we had to pay cash for second order. No signs in the drive through or on their website of this new one transaction per vehicle change. Needless to say the lady was rude. She refused to take our order. I am not a fan of chain restaurants but I was pleasantly surprised by Panda Express. The food is decent and inexpensive. I really like the "Rangoons (?)" I think that's what they are called. They are wontons and cream cheese, how can you go wrong? This place was filled with families when I stopped there for a quick bite on my way to play some poker at the casino. It was crowded and quite a few kids were running around but instead of finding it a distraction it just sort of...fit. The staff were friendly and really efficient at getting everyone through the line. I agree with the first reviewer that it could be cleaner, but it wasn't nasty dirty or anything. Overall it's a good alternative to McDonalds if you need some fast comfort food. read more

But can I just say never once have I gone to this location and received proper customer service. Every time I am baffled by how bad everyone is treated because they are so put out by helping you. After almost four months, I was able to visit Panda Express in Yakima. I ordered my favorite go-to, which is the 2-entree with half/half fried rice and low mein with my orange chicken and string beans with chicken. I ordered my food through a drive-thru; unfortunately, when I got home, I was disappointed with my food. First, the size portion was small, then my orange chicken was little pieces, and then my string beans were soggy and almost no chicken at all. Very disappointed. read more

I went here because I needed somewhere close that had easy takeout and was pretty fast. Today is New Year's and they were packed, but when I walked in they were the most friendly and engaging I've ever seen them. I was impressed with how well they handled the line and managed to be pleasant at the same time, as there was a lot of customers. They told me the chow mein would be a wait, which was understandable, and it took them probably 2 minutes to get it back in. They worked me down the line fairly quickly and I was out in under 8 minutes. I'm surprised that they have such a low rating on Yelp, because they're not a bad place at all. Their food is what you might expect from an American Chinese fast food place, but I like that. Their chow mein is delicious and has lots of veggies. Their restaurant is also quite clean and pleasant. The only complaint I might have is that I don't like the cream cheese rangoons, but that's on me. read more

I ordered a family meal for pickup and a large order of egg rolls from location #1881. I went to pick up my order. When I returned home, there were two different overcooked types of rice when I ordered two entrees of noodles. They were out of honey walnut chicken and so substituted with orange chicken. String bean chicken was mostly celery with just two or three beans. I was missing my egg rolls which I paid almost $11 for a ten-piece egg roll. Half the food was gone at 6:30 pm, and the restaurant did not close until 9 pm. Our family was distraught. The workers and owners of this Panda Express should be ashamed of themselves for allowing people to pay that much and get ripped off. When I tried calling the restaurant, they messed up most of the orders, and no one answered the phone. Hopefully, I can get ahold of someone tomorrow to refund the item I never received.
