Panda garden is where I go for Chinese food in the lower yakima valley. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The service is always fast and friendly. It is consistent in service whether we order for pick up or dine in. Our favorite entrees are the lemon chicken, which is small pieces of chicken lightly fried in a lemony sauce. Another one is the cashew chicken. Which has a variety of vegetables and chicken stir fried in a brown sauce with cashews. The combination plates are big enough to share, but the lunch specials are a deal! If you can stop in during the lunchtime, it is a great value. read more

WARNING: the portion sizes here are massive! I stopped by Panda Garden with family during spring break for lunch, and have no major complaints. The General Tsao's chicken was delicious and so were the crab puff cake appetizer. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The restaurant was clean and quiet, perfect for conversation. The food was pretty greasy, but that is to be expected with fried food. My only complaint was that we underestimated how much food came on a plate (and that's totally our fault). Definitely recommend! read more

We walked across the street from the truck stop. We ordered Pork Noodle Soup and Vegetable Fried Rice. I also got a Strawberry Milk Boba Tea to go. Everything was delicious. The only bad thing was the service was slow. And the waitress only brought 1 set of silverware because they were washing dishes and she forgot to bring another. I had to ask another server for some chopsticks so I could eat my noodles. read more

Very disappointed in Panda Garden! Have been there many times and always got good service. Today, after lunching there with my grandson, I inadvertently left my carton of leftover Almond Chicken (enough for a supper serving) on the table. When my grandson rushed back fifteen minutes later to pick it up, they said they had thrown it away! (If I had left my sweater, would they have thrown that away too?) I phoned in my order...when I arrived about 15-minutes or so later, it was ready and waiting for me. Real nice young girl rang up my bill and also went and got me some flatware and napkins. Back in the hotel I open up the grub... Hot & Sour soup, Twice Cooked Pork, and Pork Egg Foo Young. The hot & sour soup tasted good but just too tangy for me...sorry. The twice cooked pork was awesome. Very tasty. And then there is the pork egg foo young...they nailed it perfectly, and the gravy made it beyond anything I was expecting. Overall, good experiences. If they were more consistent with regard to food and service, I'd be more likely to go 5 out of 5. However there are times when there seems to be too much soy, or or otherwise oversaturated. I would not get the fish and chips because they look like what you can find in a store bought TV dinner. A place we used to go before it closed, the Golden Pheasant, used to use the same batter they put on their prawns for their cod in the fish and chips, so I was expecting something more like that. If they made their fish and chips more like that, that would be a worthy menu item on a fish Friday. Otherwise, stick with the Chinese seafood plates. read more

This restaurant has really good Chinese food for really good prices. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable and service was friendly and efficient. The lunch special menu is amazing - so much food for such a low price! Definitely enough to feed you two or three times. Excellent food. We got the Panda dinner special (Comes with Sweet and Sour chicken, pork fried rice, egg roll, and add another main dish. Ordered ours with Mongolian beef. Chicken Chow Mein with crispy noodles, ( came with a baggie of crispy noodles and a small carton of steamed rice) and 1 extra egg roll, they are veggie, so with my step dad not eating any pork, that was perfect. During the pandemic, 8 pm on a Monday night. They really impressed us. They had the door blocked, pick up and pay for your order right there in the airlock... perfect. Nice customer service. But the food, though. First, it was over 10#. I bought a bag of ice at AM/PM headed home, and the bag of food weighed more than my ice. All perfectly packed separately for sharing and all that. I tried them all, but the Chicken Chow Mein was what I really wanted tonight. It was sooooo good. All of that food, including fortune cookies and sauce.... $20.45. Definitely come here if you enjoy MSG poisoning. Otherwise, avoid. I ordered chicken chow mein. It was pretty typical of most American/Chinese restaurant chow meins. It was not bland, but most of the flavor must have come from MSG and salt, because it made me feel sick afterwards. read more

Excellent Chinese food! Their fried rice is good, egg rolls are good, sweet and sour chicken is good, lo mein is excellent--my wife and I have not had a bad dish here yet. Their portions are more than generous and their prices very low. When we ordered take out each food item was individually packaged and they even took the time to put a small piece of cardboard in the bottom of the sack to provide support for all the little food boxes. Bland is a word I don't use too often. Vegetable fried rice. My substitutions were correct (no mushrooms or baby corns add broccoli) but no taste at all.
