Out of all the Chinese restaurants that are family owned in the area Panda Express is probably the safest and that depends on how you look at things. We took a ride up to close this year, enjoying some fresh Chinese food in this location is easy to find in Westminster Maryland plenty of parking in front . The service with standard you walk in take a look at what they have to offer and one of the staff members will take your order and process you out . The food is always fresh due to the fact they get a lot of turnover so it's just not sitting there stagnant . The inside was very clean and well decorated and panda express fashion . Love the food here it's amazing! The chow-mein along with the beef broccoli and fried rice! The service is super nice they try to help you in any way they can. I am a regular at this store, near daily- and forgot my wallet on break! I told them I will be back in 10 with my card and started to pull away. These awesome employees and one kid I will leave his own review gave me it for free. Completely unexpected, but it goes to show the customer service level at this store. We have visited this Panda Express location many times and have never had a poor experience. Today was no exception. Sarah helped fill our order today and greeted us with a pleasant smile and a friendly attitude. We began to order but they were low on the fried rice and when I let her know we wanted to wait for a new batch she promptly indicated it was no problem, asked the manager how long (4 minutes) and let us know she could take out orders and we could go ahead and pay, so when everything was ready, she could fill the orders and we could go. It took exactly the stated time for the rice to be ready, our orders were filled and we were on our way. Another great experience at this location. We have visited others around the country and can't say the same. Now, for those who don't like Panda Express because it's not "real Chinese food" I understand and we do patronize a full service Chinese restaurant in Columbia from time to time. But Panda Express helps fill the gaps when we don't want to travel so far. read more

this is disappointing and disgusting as a frequent buyer of pandy expresso it breaks my heart that I found a wax pellet in my spring roll today 1/9/24 Rice should always be washed and examined daily before consumption and should not be cook and saved for the next day. Not sure how it's prepared or where it's processed but I am not in any way possible happy about my findings. I was wondering why I got sick after eating spring rolls from them and now I know why. Never been to a Panda Express but was in the mood for a quick Chinese lunch in honor of the lunar new year. I showed up around 2pm on weekend, so in between lunch and dinner, which I think was a mistake. All the food is out in big hot pans so if its not busy, it sits for a bit and some of the items looked like they had been drying out. I would recommend going during busy periods so you know you are getting fresh stuff. I got the Beijing Beef and Fried Rice bowl which tasted quite good. No complaint on that front. The problem I had, and this seems to be a trend with fast food now, is the value. It was $8+ for the bowl and I got maybe 4 pieces of beef (I'd estimate 2-3 oz) laid on top of several scoops of rice. Again it tastes good, but the local Chinese place I go to will give me a lunch special with way more meat, about the same rice and a soup or eggroll for about the same or a buck or two more. I also bought the cream cheese rangoons which has little filling, tasteless and suffered from the sitting out too long issue. Overall I doubt I will visit Panda Express again. The food I had tasted good but the value is not. I'd much rather support a local place where I get more and I know it will be fresh, but I can see the appeal for a quick Chinese fix. read more

I guess the guy with the pink hair was having a bad day because he completely ruined my food. I ordered (very politely btw) a plate with fried rice, orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. When he very rudely me the bag my food was sideways. I pulled over to open it and everything was mixed up and falling out. I am currently almost 9 months pregnant and had to get out the car (which I was avoiding) to take it back in only to find out the door was locked Never again. I'll take my money elsewhere. I ordered food using Uber eats and the delivery was great. No utensils were in the bag and I couldn't eat what I ordered. I called the store in Westminster, the same one I ordered from and they apologized but said I would have to order something small to be delivered and they would make sure I got utensils that time. I declined. I was in a school bus out of town on a sports trip and had no other options. Steer clear of this restaurant because obviously the customer doesn't matter. Alright, I don't care if it's a chain, but our family loves Panda Express because: 1) we love their orange chicken and Beijing beef 2) the family meal is such a great deal (for under $40, you get more than enough to feed everyone and we get at least two leftover meals from it) And now, it's open in Westminster so we don't have to go all the way to Rte 40 (which was our nearest Panda Express till this one opened) to get out orange chicken fix. First, the store is beautiful, new, nicely decorated. I haven't eaten at a PE in years, maybe a decade or so, I was looking forward to it. I live 12 miles away. I placed an online order to go and it took me half an hour to get there. There weren't a lot of customers inside but the drive through looked busy. The employees were busy and the place was buzzing. I arrived early so I patiently waited for my food. It was ready by the time I asked for it to be ready. So I'd say the service was great. I ordered $25 worth of food, but the bag seemed so...small. I actually texted my husband asking if he wanted anything else while I was in town, this did not look like enough food for 2. When I got home, I was disappointed but laughing at the size of the portions. The small is probably a cup-size, as in 8oz worth, of food. The medium is what I would consider smaller than a normal small sized Chinese take out container. Then we noticed they only gave me 2 out of 3 chicken egg rolls I paid for. Great. I wasn't laughing anymore, especially when I saw the chow mein. It looked so dry. It wasn't glossy and juicy looking. It tasted like it looked: dry and bland. I was actually surprised the noodles were even soft. The noodles looked undercooked, like they'd be crunchy. The beef in the beef and broccoli tasted really good. Nice flavor. But the broccoli tasted so bland. It's almost as if they cooked them separately from the meat. I don't understand how the broccoli were so bland. Then I tried the chicken egg roll...it smelled like it would taste amazing. It was bland! I mean, it was just the strangest thing! You know when you have no taste, the texture of food is more obvious? Both my husband and I experienced that. Except, we're not sick. The orange chicken was actually delicious. The orange chicken and the beef in the beef and broccoli were the only things we ate with any flavor. I was super disappointed I drove an hour (24 miles) for this. It was not worth it at all. This location is such TRASH! I ordered a drink with my order off your website. The delivery driver said he was never given the drink but said he was coming back to give it to me... never showed. I called the restaurant and was hung up on twice. When I finally got someone, it was a girl with a real bad attitude. Told me that it wasn't her problem and they cant give me a refund. It's a few dollars, it's whatever... but the lack of customer service, empathy and respect is what I have a problem with.
