The lunch specials are very cost-effective with portion sizes that represent exceeding good value. Spice can be moderated to taste (they will ask you to rate 1 to 5, how spicy) and service was rock solid by the charming waitress. One thing about spice level - order one level down from where your instinct suggests. The dozen or so lunch specials on the menu, all are priced the same, with a small variable depending on the protein you select (tofu, chicken, shrimp or beef). The physical space is small (we can easily imagine the dozen small tables being full) and parking is quite limited right nearby (tiny municipal paid parking lot) but this inconvenience is well worth it. The lunch sandwiches are great as well. Try the Ruben or Rachel sandwiches. The corn beef is great and tasty in the Ruben. I enjoy going in and ordering my sandwich there but they do plenty of online ordering. I have not had a problem at all with the service. The staff does a great job of making your sandwich in no time. The place is small but sells lots of other stuff like coffee, tea, and of course their pork products. There is a seating area that is comfortable and clean.
