We arrived at 11:45 AM (Saturday) and there was a 30 minute wait, so we grabbed two comfortable seats at the bar. A good call. I had the Rock Salt Oysters, broiled with bacon and parmigiana. Delightful. I also had the cream of, and Maryland crab, soup combination. My brother had the crab cake sandwich. I'd had it before, but wanted the oysters. His crab cake sandwich was double the size of any I'd ever seen, without exaggeration. He guessed it was 8 ounces or more, without exaggeration, with no visible filler, (Broiled). I had a few beers and we split the Bread pudding with Grand Marnier sauce. It was enough for four. The bar and food service was spectacular with "tag teaming" to make sure we didn't wait for anything. I'd like to thank the bartenders who served us perfectly: Kelsey and Nikkea. Award winners. Rock Salt is not inexpensive, but the quality of the food and the great service justify the premium. I'll be back more often

I was impressed. The double crab cake dinner was perfect, along with the green beans and baked potato. The lobster and filet mignon were cooked well and to order. The accompanying green beans and baked potato were also perfect. The waiter was prompt, polite and accommodating. We were checked on by the hostess, and the general manager was seen monitoring the restaurant. The ambiance was excellent. The restaurant was noisy, but this is to be expected since the restaurant was almost at capacity. I only saw one table for two that was empty. When we left an hour later, we were the only guests left in the back dining room. The rest of the restaurant was at or near capacity.

They seem to have a lot of birthdays in this restaurant the night we were there. I like the fact that the birthday person had to sit on the saddle and was sung to by many of the wait stuff. Their menu is wide and varied and you can get not only steaks but pork chops and ribs and seafood and other delicious things. We were both full so we didn't get dessert but the desserts that they brought out looked really good. This is a super popular restaurant and parking was very difficult and we ended up parking in an adjacent lot. Great food, nice atmosphere, a little loud with volume but there were a lot of people seated and waiting to be seated so it's about what I expected. I look forward to coming back in the future.
