    Lunch Chicken Fajitas
    Tess T.

Went for dinner last night I had the Carnita Bowl and it was delicious! It's huge and I had enough left over for lunch today. My husband had the Taco Salad and he ate the entire thing. The drinks were good but light on the alcohol. Our server was great. Nice fellow I think his name was Daniel.

The bar area is in the front. The main dinning hall and private dinning area are off to the left of the bar area. I went in pregamed!!! I knew what I wanted and went straight to it. The complimentary bread and dip was not expected but was greatly appreciated. The bread is warm and that dip, that dip....so freaking good. It's tomato based I think. For the apps we ordered the meatball trio ( always order the balls), arancini bolognese, and the shrimp something. Everything was a hit!!! I can't remember the names of the main dishes. I had pasta with a cream sauce, chicken and spinach. My mother had a pork chop with veggies and roasted red potatoes. We sat at the bar and services was attentive even as it filled to capacity. The drinks were tasty, so much so that it lead to another round.

The environment and accessibility was somewhat difficult but there is a steel incline at the entrance if using a wheelchair. We were taken to be seated all the way in the corner. When it hit 6 pm, it was hard to get out due to the excessive amount of tables, and wheelchair was not accessible after. My table was given an automatic gratuity charge, with a table of 5, but the policy states "Parties of 6 or more subject to 20% gratuity. A 3% processing fee is applied to all credit card purchases." Overall the ambiance of the restaurant was good. The food was prepped nicely, my table ordered - Sodas, Caesar Salad, Bucatini Arrabiata with Chicken, shrimp scampi (GF), bucatini Delle Nonna, meatball trio, ravioli, and crab soup. 8/10 for taste, and presentation. I won't be coming back, but overall recommend just to try! If you are in the area. My server was pleasant overall too.

The ribs are absolutely delicious, and the burgers and fries never disappoint. I've also had the salmon and the brick-style flame-grilled chicken, which has an amazing smoky, flame-grilled flavor and is always cooked just right. One of my favorite memories is sitting by the fireplace and enjoying a cozy meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it just as enjoyable to dine in as it is to take your food home. If you're looking for a reliable restaurant with generous portions, great service, and food that keeps you coming back, Glenwood is an excellent choice. Whatever you order, make sure you come hungry--you really can't go wrong.

This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .

Everything tasted great for the most part. Service was great as well. The outdoor buffet cookout was $20 tickets were purchased on eventbrite. They also had holiday drink specials at $2.49 which was a good deal. They also sold smoked oysters at $1.00 each & the server and bartender was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed this event. We would like to go back and check out the other drinks on the menu as well as the food. Definitely bookmarked this spot for a return visit. My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Thursday afternoon after touring the State House. We each ordered the Monkey Smoke (Penicillin), and she ordered a small plate with avocado and lump crabmeat, which we ordered just in time as the kitchen closed between 3 and 4. The standout of the day for me was the old fashioned, made with plum bitters. One of the best old fashioneds I've ever had. The servers were all very friendly and quick. We will definitely come back the next time we're in town, and definitely recommend this to others.
