TL;DR: Excellent service from a kind, hardworking owner -- and the food is genuinely good. Don't let the outside fool you; this is a great Chinese takeout spot. I'm writing this to help clear up the negative first impression the exterior might give. The windows only look dirty because they're covered in thick plastic. I drive between Baltimore County and Gettysburg often, and needed Christmas Day takeout. After reading the reviews (better than any in Gettysburg), I called on Christmas Eve to confirm they'd be open -- they were. Their menu is limited, but the prices are reasonable. I called in my order on the road; it took a couple tries to get through, and when I did, the woman let me know it would be a 40-minute wait because they were slammed. She was polite, repeated my order back, and I headed that way. When I arrived, the parking lot was quiet, but once inside I could clearly see how busy they really were from all the foot traffic in and out and lots of bags with each order. The restaurant was clean, and the woman working was warm, apologetic about the wait, and literally running back and forth to help everyone. She double-checked my bags, noticed a missing rice, and rushed to grab it. For three large entrees, egg rolls, and soup, my total was about $45 -- plus she offered a free 2-liter and pointed me to sauces and utensils. By the time I got to my parents' house 20 minutes later, the food was still piping hot. The egg drop soup was exactly what I hoped for, the egg rolls were tasty, and my chicken with broccoli was solid (I added some hot sauce for extra kick). My parents enjoyed their General Tso's -- plenty of sauce, mild-to-medium heat, and tender chicken. I took menus for myself and my parents; it may not be the closest option for them, but it's easily one of the better choices when I'm driving through. The best Chinese around! The food is always fresh, great portions and great pricing. Never have to wait more than 15 minutes. This is our preferred Chinese takeout location in all of Adams county and Carroll county. We drive from Westminster just to come here! Very limited menu In fact it is the smallest takeout menu I have ever seen. Service was extremely friendly. And my Togo order came out fast The place itself looks very run down. Portions for lunch special were nice size. The flavor is a little less than average. And lacking meat and vegetables. Very plain. Unfortunately about half way through my wonton soup I started to get ill. Not sure what that was and I'm not pointing fingers.. but I do not recommend this place. I think it worth the drive. Tried this Chinese restaurant in Littlestown, PA for the first time last week. It looked pretty shabby on the outside it took other favorable reviews for me to decide to order some takeout dinner food on the way home from Maryland to Pennsylvania. It was just as shabby and worn down on the inside. I would not recommend restaurant dining here.... only take out. My soup, appetizer and dinner order order was waiting for me when I arrived 15 minutes after I called it in. The employee who served me was exceedingly friendly and helpful. When I was paying for the order she showed me where to pick up all of the condiments, utensils, etc. I needed. She also let me know that on this order (which was over $25) I could receive two free sodas. I chose two diet Cokes. The wonton soup was good, not the best I've ever had, but quite good. It could have benefited from the addition of some chopped up green scallion onions and some thin strips of pork. The shrimp eggrolls were also quite good, again not the best I've ever had, but tasty and fresh....the cabbage inside was still a little crunchy which I like. They could've benefited from a slightly more generous portion of the tiny shrimp. The crispy beef was quite tasty... But by the time I got home 20 minutes later it wasn't crispy. Not the fault of the restaurant. Crispy Chinese food tends to become soggy very quickly inside of sealed plastic containers. The Kung Pao chicken was the best of the two dinner dishes and I enjoyed it very much. I need to mention that both of the two entrées were very spicy, more than I normally expect at Chinese restaurants in Pennsylvania, but since I like it that way they was delicious. Menu prices were very reasonable and the whole dinner order described above plus tip and tax came to about $30. I would definitely stop to order takeout food at this Chinese restaurant again. Little Chinatown has better Chinese food than any of the Chinese restaurants here in Gettysburg (in my opinion). Try it.... I think you'll like it. read more

I see the very few bad reviews on here and I think it's baloney, I moved to littlestown last year and of course I miss my old favorite Chinese spots from my old place but this is definitely the place to go if you want Chinese food in littlestown, I tried the other place and little china town is by far better, it's the same really nice lady every time I go in there and usually places with the same people EVERYDAY usually know how to cook up some good food, overall not a bad spot at all. read more

Nestled in an old movie theater building is Little China Town. This is a great spot for a quick pick up dinner or a sit down work lunch. Lunch specials are extremely reasonable and come with a generous portion of food & sides. Dinner is also great, with a variety of menu options. Their customer service is always top notch whether ordering by phone or at the counter. I've been able to request custom orders and they have deliciously delivered. read more

It's a lot more than it looks like from the outside. While it looks like a carry out, and is one, there is a very nice dine in restaurant hiding in here as well. Very nice! Good food. Clean. Nice service. Everything made fresh to order (even the doughnuts. LOL) looks like a hole-in-the-wall on the outside, but perfectly fine inside. Surprisingly large dining area inside. Large room, plenty of seating. Not just for take-out, though they have that too. And lots of people seem to use that the most, there was virtually no one in the dining room when we were there at 5pm on a Saturday. read more
