Placed our order on the phone for Hunan Chicken and Shrimp, light on the sauce. Repeated it several times and order was verbally confirmed. Picked it up. Brought it home. Order was General Tso not Hunan Chicken and Shrimp. Called to complain and ask them to redo the order. Was put on hold several times and then told we could pick up the correct order in 20 min. Away we go again...pick it up, bring it home and alas, the order was a too spicy to eat shrimp dish, no chicken...not what was ordered. Very disappointed and will not go there again. read more

This place is a hidden gem! I was genuinely shocked at how amazing the food was. I was a bit skeptical at first since this place offers not only Chinese, but Thai, Japanese and some American options as well. But they absolutely nail it. I ordered a sushi burrito, salmon roll, and chicken fried rice, and they were all spot on. I wanted to give this little restaurant a try today. I had the Chicken with green peppers in Black bean sauce. It was very good, but not great. Please read on and let me qualify that statement. Price: This is were the restaurant is stellar. I paid just 6.50, plus tax on my meal. The meal was large enough for two separate meals. You will probably pay as much as that at McDonalds, but there will be no fresh vegetables... The food: The food was good. It was not great. The Black bean sauce(my favorite) was just slightly sweet, but not overly so. However I do not like a sweet taste in my food, and didn't have that rich black bean sauce bite that I like so much. My tasted however may be different than most people though. The Service: The service was very warm and friendly, which both my wife and I really appreciate! My experience: I have eaten Chinese food in quite a few places. There are only two places that made chicken in black bean sauce that I loved. Summary: I would go here again without a second thought, based on this good experience. I am glad I gave it a try! read more

What a great new addition to Carroll County. This is my new favorite Chinese place. This is not a stuffy restaurant. They are basically take out, with 4 tables in the restaurant if you want to dine in. I highly recommend you dine in. It is like eating at a relatives house. The owner is friendly and comes over to talk to you. She already knows us after just a few visits. The food is delicious and great portion size. We love love love Beijing Palace!! They have some of the best Chinese food around. Everything is always fresh and the portions are very large-usually enough for at least two meals. The owner and other staff are always super friendly and really make you feel like they appreciate your business. They are great for carry-out, but also have a few tables to eat in. They also put out some awesome coupons in the clipper magazine. If you are ever in Hampstead, give them a try! You won't regret it! read more

My first visit to this restaurant. Not crowded at 11:30am, but the pick-up order was steady. I ordered the Singapore noodles with chicken and fresh hot tea.
