I came during my lunch break today (12:00pm) and I understand there is probably a rush. I went through drive thru and tried to order teriyaki chicken and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. I said that's fine. And the lady told me to pull into the parking lot. I asked don't you want the rest of my order and for me to pay? She said no they will come to your car. Soooo how will you know what I want? Where I'm parked? I pull away and park and wait. I have been to several Panda Expresses in Texas and Alaska. This is the worst one I have gone to. They are extremely slow and I understand they are new, but I have been to grand openings before for Panda Express and this location needs to get their act together. After a long wait in line and waiting for my food, it was ridiculous! The portion size was so small! Every panda I have been to packs your side and meat choices into the container or piles it high on the plate. The food was amazing and so was the service when they opened a few short weeks ago. The service and food to include quality and portions. I would fill this out over a survey except they only allow you to do one and then they could care less what you think. Tonight we went thru the drive and ordered green bean chicken bowl which included 9 green beans and 4 little pieces of chicken. My husband ordered sweet heat chicken bowl and his portion was fine - they are very inconsistent. We go there three times a week but we are done for now. I've tried to speak with managers there but unfortunately all I ever get is that they are new. Wasn't the worst , wasn't the best . I ate the Beijing beef, and cream cheese Rangoon. The Rangoon has no flavor, wouldn't recommend that . Beijing beef was descent. Here is my final review for this location. I wanted to really like this Panda Express but it will not happen. I lived in Hutto for 2 years and at Panda Express about 2-3 days a week. I pretty much ordered the same thing everytime because it was my favorite, orange chicken, black pepper chicken and Teriyaki chicken. Oh so delicious At this location on West Adams I have no idea what they use for Teriyaki chicken but it is disgusting. The so called chicken has a greenish blue tinted to it and the meat is super soft to where you came practically smash it with your tongue, no teeth needed. The black pepper Angus beef was not good, really greasy and bland. The white steamed rice, chicken egg roll and walnut shrimp was really good though. Portions are extremely small as mentioned by other reviewers and do not expect the same food items at this location that other locations may have. Well where to start.... This particular store is incredible poorly managed. They continuously on a regular basis either run short of entrees. I had the nerve to order Kung Pao Chicken Sunday at dinner time. Of all the chicken entree's that only had 4. A week last Sunday I placed an order it was correct on the Ticket. When I returned the order the acting manager said she personally filled the order so it was correct and all but called me a liar. So on any given day they my be out of Steamed rice, Super Greens, or Teriyaki Chicken. It really doesn't matter what time I go or what I order it's a problem. The management is basically incompetent. Well this is not the first time we have come to the Temple Panda Express and they are always out of menu items. Today (Saturday 1pm) they had only steamed rice , no noodles or fried rice. In addition no Kung pao chicken. Who knows what else they were out of. We left at that point. This location is very badly managed. The times we have come here they are always out of items. I think if Panda Express wants to maintain this location they should look at changing management. It has never functioned properly since it opened. I understand that a business might have a bad day but having every day a bad day is not acceptable. Maybe it is time to just write this location off and close it down. This was not my first time at Panda Express...but the first time for this location. I was terribly disappointed at the portions!!! Usually they fill up a whole plate, or in a to-go box, the same thing with generous portions. I got a TINY little box with a skimpy portion of fried rice and orange chicken. I've come here (drive thru only) a hand full of times, as my boyfriend lives nearby. Food is pretty consistent, as it should be with other Panda Express locations. Accuracy of order has been noticeably good. I'd rank all categories to be considered 4-5 stars, with the exception of customer service. Let me clarify: this 3-star rating applies to ONE employee- not the entire business, but I feel I am being generous by devoting 3-stars. Since Panda has offered online specials and the location has been significantly busier, we have not returned because of this experience! I first found out about the online special via a very vague Facebook ad. At this time, the ad indicated the effective date for when it began and I believe it was a day or so before we visited the location. (Before the chaos we see now at Panda as we visit nearby fast food restaurants.) The Facebook ad did not state online orders only; only listed $20 meals (originally $34.99). We went through the drive thru and asked about methods for redeeming the special. The woman on the headset was very rude! After telling us the special only applies to online orders, we asked if we could order the food through the line while at the menu to reflect our online order so they could prepare it and drive thru after submitting the order to show confirmation that the order was submitted and paid for. We would wait outside of the line, as we understand there may be a wait and wouldn't expect to make others wait. (At this time, there was not an influx of customers in the drive thru). After pulling up to the drive thru window, she consistently interrupted both me and my boyfriend when asking questions, as we weren't familiar with how to access the special. She wouldn't listen to the questions asked and repeated "you have to do that online!" Got it! That was made clear at the menu. I chimed in after my boyfriend was continuously spoken over and told her she needed to stop talking and listen to the questions we were asking. Her behavior remained the same. We drove off, for my boyfriend had to go to work. I ordered online and returned to the location. (Had the order been for me, I wouldn't have returned again. Poor customer service does not deserve my business.) I stood by the door as the confirmation email requested to wait for my order. Another customer walked up to stand next to me and wait for her order and asked me about my experience. She shared that she ordered online, went through the drive thru to pick it up at the designated "ready" time and was told she had to park and come to the front door to receive her order. She was upset that the order couldn't have been handed through the drive thru window, as she received confirmation that it was already prepared. She expressed she dealt with the same individual and the lady was extremely rude! There is no excuse for the lack of common courtesy to any individual, especially in this industry. I understand people may deal with hardships and others who are not pleasant in that line of work or even in their personal lives; this behavior should not be carried onto the next person, regardless of the circumstance. Because another customer approached me after having dealt with the same individual one hour later, this makes me believe this is reflective of this person's traditional ways. I love Panda. I hate this one, the worst one I've ever been to and I've been to several all across Texas and the US. Line servers seem undertrained, they are consistently out of at least 1/3 of entrees. As others have said, the portions are very small compared to others. The tables are always dirty. After ordering my food for which some of which was not offered it was very expensive. They had no white rice available. I ordered the beef and broccoli and mushroom chicken with fried rice. Both main items were mushy and did not taste like what they were supposed to taste like furthermore I also ordered orange chicken and string-bean chicken breast for which the orange chicken didn't even taste correctly like orange chicken and I had to throw it out. The string being chicken was the only thing that actually tasted like it was supposed to it was good. I also ordered chow mein which did not taste fully cooked as well as a bad taste to it I also threw it out. The fried rice was OK at best it needed more time to be fried. Furthermore after my teenager ate some of it bad stomach aches happened and apparently threw up the food. I Recents and thrown out everything from panda express. I also noticed why I was there that the kitchen was in disorganization. The only reason why I gave one star it was because of the friendly service. I will not be going back to panda express. Why would it be at the busiest time of the day??? I asked if I waited on them to cook how long would it be, as my husband was done and refused to eat there already, I couldn't justify driving to the other side of town for one meal. So reluctantly, I choose to wait the 7-10 minutes...... closer to 20, get my food, I live out of town, but the girls night with my happy daughter is sooo worth it!!!!!! YES, but then 20 miles later the food I waited on them to cook is not in the %$*& bag!!! You guessed it, waited and got an entirely different meal than I ordered, waited on, and paid for!!!! So I arrived here around 9pm and the drive thru was around the building, which I expected because it's newly opened. I opted to go inside and when I ordered my entrees were empty, so I was told it would be 5-10 minutes. I was fine with that . Then it was 20 min later and still those entrees had not been made. I informed a manager, Maribel, that it had been 20 minutes that I had been waiting. She asked which entrees, after telling her, she made no attempt to apologize or see why it was taking so long. There had been several entrees that been been refilled during this time. The only employee who seemed concerned or actually tried to help was Ana. This is extremely poor customer service on the management. I'm used to waiting at Panda, but this was ridiculous, especially since my entrees were the only ones that were not replaced, even though the clerk, called back for it. Just drove 10 miles off of the interstate to come to this location and the hours of operation online and the door said that it closes at 10 pm. We pulled up to the drive thru at 9:40 pm and it was closed. We walked up to the door and it was locked and people inside ignored us. Really poor customer service! read more

I would give this place no stars but it would not let me I was hoping that it would get better after having two other bad experiences here at this time but it got worse We had to wait 15 min to the inside of the door to the beginning of the line were you place your order We each wanted a plate and told them then they put out rice in them and told us the meat would be a five min wait so we asked why put the rice in yet and they said if it got cold they would replace it so we said ok Well 8 minutes later we payed and still no meat and this was 7:11 pm So 5 minutes later we asked and they said it would be 10 more minutes and we ask why they told before only 5 But they keep making every thing except sweet fire chicken While we waited we had 2 other couples come up and said this always happens there but that was the only Chinese food place around Well after7:24 pm I asked what was going on and they said it would be the next thing they would cook and it would only take a min So I asked why did they wait this long. We love Panda Express-Generally, well the one in Temple we will never visit again, we go in and the trash cans are overflowing, to get through the line was a nightmare, it took them forever, when we did finally get up to the line, most of the entrees were out and they said they didnt know when or how long it would be, so then we finally figure out what to eat and we go to get our drinks and they are out of Medium size cups, ugh, so we get a large, go to get Tea and there is none, no utensils to eat with either, go to the counter to ask for utensils and the girl says are there not any by the soda machine, NO or I wouldnt be asking. Our food was cold by the time we got through the line and got to sit and eat. It was a Sunday night at 7:20 so I didnt feel it was busy at all.
