First of all i go In and i ask for a bowl and i ask for chow mein and she put me chow mein and fried rice which i obviously didnt ask for. Then i was waiting for them to put the orange chicken but the lady was making the order infront of me and then after they told me to move over and they started serving the lady behind me her food and i was also asking for teriyaki chicken and the cashier told me to hold on then the lady infront of me payed and lady behind me then finally i paid. This is the second time I've ordered delivery and they have forgotten a complete item. Last time I don't remember what the item was but they also forgot the fortune cookies. Tonight I paid nearly $50 for two bigger plates for me and my sister. My plate was supposed to be white rice and fried rice, mushroom chicken, green bean chicken and teriyaki chicken. It came with zero mushroom chicken. I called the restaurant. They wanted to try to give me the runaround and tell me I could either come and pick something up or come in a few days and pick something up. I enjoyed a nice bowl of fried rice and chicken kung pao from this new Panda Express in Spring Valley, not to mention a unsweetened iced tea. The fried rice was well made, with good looseness and seasoning. The kung pao was very nice. It could of used a little more heat, but the chicken was tender and flavorful. I liked that the peanuts had good texture and came with just the right amount of red peppers, zucchini, and onions. It was a good meal. Service was super efficient and cordial. The fact that I'm picky with fried rice from panda express and got some and enjoyed it that says a lot to me.... nothing on my plate was burnt, everything taste fresh and flavorful as one would expect. I love the fact that they serve up some crunchy cream cheese Wong tongs. I and the other guest were greeted upon opening the door and entering this establishment. The AC was blowing and it was nice and cool inside. People were respecting social distancing as I arrived a little after 5 PM. By the time I left the line was getting longer but everyone was getting served in a timely manner. The foods hot, fresh and they are not skimpy with the servings. I love the steak with the super veggies. When I get a bowl this is a staple item for me from now on because the juice from the gravy mixed with those veggies into the super veggies in a bowl gives it so much flavor. The counters clean! Staffs wearing gloves. They have one restroom and you need the code. The fountain drinks are near after you pay. Probably one of the best Panda Expresses I've been to! It's got a lot of parking (which is so helpful if you have ever been to one without that). When you walk in, it looks clean (yes I know it's new but it's wiped down and nice). The line was pretty long, but it was very quick moving. The manager was walking around asking for things needed to his staff, and maintaining the items of food that were low. I ordered the chow mein and broccoli beef... Both fresh and hot! My husband ordered the fried rice and orange chicken. He said they were also fresh and hot! They did not give just a little either, our bowls were packed! Definitely try this panda!!! Delicious, healthy and convenient! This location is clean with a huge parking lot in the Spring Valley shopping center. I usually place a mobile order and pick it up. Staff is friendly and they make it easy to pick up the orders. Mobile orders are set on a shelf where you look for your name and pick up your bag. I love the healthy options! The food was terrible, rice wasn't seasoned the noodles were overcooked and orange chicken hard, broccoli beef had no flavor. I don't know if they have a new cook on the weekends but he needs to be fired horrible food. I'm a regular customer at this place and I know what the food should taste like . This panda express is fairly new so it's clean and looks very nice. But the fact that it's new is they have no concept of any panda express guidelines. I've given them a chance multiple times but it really is below par on customer service and quality. Today was my last time at this location. I ordered a big plate with noodles including sizzling shrimp, walnut shrimp and seasem chicken breast with a side of 2 chicken egg rolls. The walnut shrimp was fine as was the seaseme chicken. But the sizzling shrimp and egg roll were a problem. I received 4 shrimp and after ordering 2 chicken egg rolls only received 1. But was charged full price on both items. If this is their profit margin I highly do not recommend frequenting this panda express. I've been shorted many times before but this was the last straw on the camels back for me. I recommend any other panda express except for the Sweetwater road location. read more

It was great visiting Panda Express's new location in Spring Valley, CA! As a disclaimer, I visited as a Yelp Elite guest. Located conveniently on Sweetwater Rd off the 125, by the time I arrived with my hubby (a.k.a. forever +1) they were busy with a line out the door by 6pm on Thursday. Once we entered the dining room, it was clearly hopping with a vibrantly busy dining room and at least a half-dozen staff working rapidly and effectively. I was especially impressed by the great communication in their open concept kitchen. While I wished the entryway was longer to accommodate more people in their comfortable indoor queue on a hot East County day, I enjoyed the modern and spacious interior of this Panda Express location. We had a smooth and courteous experience getting our two bowls - delicious & fresh 1/2 chow mein 1/2 super greens bowls with honey walnut shrimp. The tempura batter was crisp and soaked up the honey sauce with a pleasant consistency. I was craving crunchy textures, and my bowl was served with plenty of walnuts and the super greens were crisp without being overly bitter. Meanwhile, the chow mein base had a nice balance of vegetables (mainly celery) to noodles. The last time I had Panda Express was at an airport so I was really happy to have it again yesterday. This location isn't placed in a mall which was great and there is plenty of parking, I would just worry about the Starbucks driving close by, people drive a little wild. It's been really hot in San Diego and my husband and I did not want to cook, we ended up getting dinner at Panda Express and man, I am glad. Because this is a new location I felt like the food was so much better than I remember. The cream cheese rangoon were crispy and packed with cream cheese and the vegetable spring rolls were crunchy and packed with filling. So we ended up chicken teriyaki, orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. That teriyaki chicken is delicious, you really don't need the sauce because it's so tender and flavorful! Plus, they give you such a good portion. My husband ended up putting the teriyaki chicken in his quesadilla later that night. The orange chicken was really good too, nice citrus flavor and super tender chicken! The honey walnut was good, but not as good as those classics. Will definitely be coming back, Panda Express has definitely gone up in my book! read more

So excited to have been selected to be part of this Yelp Elite event! My husband and I went at dinner time and we were happy to see the place packed. Our ordering process was quick and easy, everyone behind the counter was extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered two Beijing bowls with Chow Mein, one Teriyaki Chicken and one Honey Walnut Shrimp with rice. All of the food was boxed quickly, we were offered condiments for everything and were sent on our way with a big thank you and smile. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, the Honey Walnut Shrimp was a new try for us and we highly recommend. Ventured out to this location as part of a Yelp Event this week. This area has gotten a huge upgrade since the last time I was in this area! Nice surprise!! The location was right off the freeway and easy to find! There was plenty of parking spots available. Happy to report that there were also many handicap spots available as well. There was a nice little area for outdoor seating and a good sized seating area inside too. It's nice to see a location open up that was built with enough space to versus adding a restaurant into an already packed building that has an opening available. I ordered 2 bowls. My first bowl was chow mein and the original orange chicken. My second bowl was teriyaki chicken and steamed rice. These are my go-to orders so I knew what to expect taste wise. And they tasted just like they do at every other location I've ever been too. Sadly I had a lot of fatty pieces of teriyaki chicken... Alexa was the employee who helped me at the register. She was so friendly! Once she got handed the food I ordered, she double checked that it was what I wanted before placing it in a bag. She was very efficient.
