Nice chips and sauce, similar to chow mein at Panda Imperial. The lunch specials are served with Kimlan soy sauce and Underwood Ranches brand sriracha. They grew chiles for the more famous national brand. As a midwestern guy I am not qualified to discuss soy that is not Kikkoman. Cashew chicken is red and pretty good.

Take out only but delicious fast fresh yummy. Family own business that has been here for the ages in Spring Valley shopping center.

Door sign states pick-up only but lady in front area said dine-in for small groups. Hidden in the corner, this place wasn't busy at all. Clean dining area. Our waitress lady was very sweet & friendly. Ordered combo plates moo goo chicken & pepper wings. Egg rolls & potstickers were included. Overall food was good

This mom and pop family restaurant is pumping out great Chinese food for a very reasonable price. They were very friendly and attentive. We had lunch here and they offered many lunch specials from $5-7.50. All specials came with fried rice, soup, egg roll, and pot sticker. White rice is also an option. The soup was egg flower soup and it was well made with lots of chicken flavor. Our entree was their Yu Shiang Chicken. It was in a dark brown soy based n garlic sauce. There were fresh onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers with the sliced chicken breast meat. It had a little bit of a tangy spice kick to it but it was well made. I would prefer a little less sauce on my plate only because the sauce tends to run all over the bottom of the plate, and overwhelm the entire dish with sauce including the side of rice on the other side of the plate. It's still a great dish! The decor is a bit dated but it reminds me of the old school Chinese restaurants you would see in the movies. Once you start eating, you should forget about the decor and focus on the great authentic food. It's a very nice mom n pop shop.

Food was really good. Sesame chicken wasn't soggy or drenched in sauce. It wasn't too sweet either---delicious!

I was a bit hesitant to try this place because I love chinese food and lately its just been hit or miss. Also, sushi/chinese can sometimes be not what you expect. ANYWAY, let me go back to my experience with Ayumi. Small cozy restaurant that has about 8-10 tables. Its apparent they do a lot of take out. It's in a small plaza but there is plenty of parking. You're greeted warmly when going inside, and there's an A-Frame in the front that tells you the daily special. The pictures here on yelp and google helped a lot in making my food decisions. I love my orange chicken not too much breading, and an even sauce to nugget ratio. Some of the other chinese restaurants in the immediate area are wayyyy too saucy or too breaded. I chose the Sweet & Pungent chicken, bc that sounded good ... boy it did not disappoint. It came out on a bed of crispy noodles and steamed broccoli. The pieces were evenly sauced and sticky the way I love it ... so I can only imagine the orange chicken, sweet and sour, and whatever else is fried will be decent. Definitely coming back just for this. My bf had the kung pao trio, and it was probably the most decent I've had in a while. The prices are reasonable for the area for the sushi, the chinese food, and even the beverages (some places be gouging for beer), and I'm going to be trying this place out for the lunch specials which is always a good combo of entree, appetizer, and drink. 5 stars for the chinese food, Can't wait to try the sushi next time.

So I ordered through GrubHub and I still think everything was delicious! They have a combination of Chinese foods and Japanese sushis. I ordered an Adam and Eve Roll which was good. The 2 main stars of the show were the scallop roll and the salt and pepper chicken wings! Okay where do I even start?! The scallop roll came from the basic rolls so I was expecting it to be pretty basic. No one told me they were going to put raw scallops omg it was sooo good and soft! Melted like butter in my mouth. Then the salt and pepper chicken wings might be up there on top wings in SD because not only do they load that thing with garlic but they also dice up tiny red bell peppers and omg what a game changer!

At first, she said the order only could be done on 1 bill. And then later she compromised with 2 bills, 5 people per table. That was nice of her! I just had 2 coffees before entering so I decided to skip ordering Thai tea. But they had a large drink menu, of fruit teas and more. My friend had the lychee tea which was very large and looked super refreshing! They also came by often to top off our waters which was nice. To eat, I ordered the $16.99~, Cashew Chicken Stir Fry with White Rice. It came with onion, green onion, carrots, zucchini, bell pepper, and cashews. The carrots were beautifully cut, but a little too crunchy for me to properly enjoy in the stir fry. Everything else was delicious! I think this could definitely be shared between 2-3 people. It was a lot for me, even after a large hike. The sauce was flavorful and not overly salty. I didn't ask for any spice level, but I think I'd choose mild or medium next time. My friends ordered-- - $12.99, Dirty Fried Chicken: This had a blitz coating of lime, mint, and spices. And it was decorated with thinly sliced green onions with a side of sweet chili sauce. The chicken was hot and plump, not dry, and very much mouthwatering! Would recommend. - $14.99, Thai Grilled Chicken Salad: Grilled Chicken Breast on a bed of mixed green salad, carrots, and cucumbers with peanut dressing. It reminded me a little of chicken satay~ it smelled and looked incredible. I think I might order it next time, when I want something light and fulfilling after a hike. - $11.99, Cream Cheese Avocado Wontons (6PC): These came out piping hot and when you took a bite they were oozing. It was very creamy and when you dip into the plum sauce it's a delectable bite. A nice appetizer to share with the table. - $16.99-$19.99 (depends on what protein you get), Pad Thai: This proportion was manageable for one person. The restaurant used thin rice noodles, but it didn't clump excessively compared to other restaurants. The prices are what you'd typically see at a Pan-Asian restaurant, a few dollars more than what you'd want to spend. But these kinds of restaurants, in my opinion, are for enjoying with others. So, if you're sharing food and all that-- the price is worth it (esp with the quantity that is given). Next time, I would probably order one of their noodle dishes rather than rice. Oodles by the Noodbar has such a large and diverse menu so I would highly recommend coming in to try them out.

They guaranteed I'd love it, and they delivered on that promise completely. It's rare to walk into a place and feel that kind of energy -- a team that's happy to be there and happy to feed you.
