They were closed a few days ago because they failed reinspection for vermin I stopped by when they were to be open and it was just a sign on the door that said closed. Great value hole in a wall takeout Chinese food takeout spot. Owners are friendly and pack your combo box to the point it won't close properly. A two item combo was under $10, a great deal for what you get. I got orange chicken/salt and pepper chicken with half rice/half noodles. I liked the orange chicken and noodles. Orange chicken was crispy and juicy while the noodles was spongy and flavorful. The fried rice was a bit plain and the wings a little on the dry side. Overall great takeout for the price. read more

You cannot beat the price of $2.99 per each individual item. They have 20 items on the menu. You can also order party trays of half or full. When you walk in, there were about 12 items on display like a deli. We got 3 items: half and half, orange chicken and chicken teriyaki. All for under $10 with tax. The portions were huge. I did not find the quality or taste to be great. Dry rice, chicken teriyaki was also dry and bland. Could just be the items we got because our friends seem to like this place. Holy crap! Chinese food entrees still at a price I remember when I was in my 20s back in the early 90s! Keeping in mind because of the low prices, Cash Only! But just have a $10 or $20 bill handy, it'll feed two to possibly 4 but still very reasonable if you go over. They have most of the popular favorites, beef, pork, chicken- spicy, sweet or just seasoned. Even a fish or shrimp dish I can't remember, fried rice, chow mein, etc. Place is basically a takeout joint, in a busy strip mall, but since we were in the area, we took a chance to try and wished it was a lot closer to our home - quality takeout Chinese food is hard to find between Temecula and San Diego back county (meaning towards Ramona). And especially those prices! Definitely keeping this in mind if the mood swings us to long scenic drives just to get Chinese food fix on. We do have another choice Chinese food place in Escondido but it's just as bad driving the long winding one way mountain roads just to get there:( Service was fast, as it gets crowded and ambience is like that of typical old school greasy spoon takeout hole in the wall. Honestly, 86 Panda Express immediately. Ingredients are fresher, portions are BIGGER, service is nicer, and it's a small business instead of a corporate chain. There are no chairs/tables, so no dining in, just takeaway, but it's so small that there's no place to eat in anyway. The garlic wings are excellent, noodles are heaped & piled high, and the orange chicken is always hot & fresh. The veggies are fresh, chicken/beef is tasty, and overall much better value & quality for Chinese takeout. read more

A hole-in-the-wall, Chinese takeout shop that's churning out decent food at affordable prices for the locals. I hardly ever use cash anymore, but wanted to try this cash-only place given the rave reviews. Don't get confused by the old photos and reviews that say $1.49 or $2.69 per item. That was before everything became expensive, and they would be out of business if they kept that price. It's just shy of $3.50 per item now (October 2025), which is still quite reasonable, especially considering the huge portions they heap on to the takeout box. I got the chow mein, orange chicken, and garlic chicken (fried chicken). All three items were delicious. Were they the best ever, to die for? No. But it was solid, and I've definitely had worse that was way more expensive. The friendly lady at the counter is working as fast as she can, but don't expect chain fast food speeds. Contrary to some reviews, they will give you hot sauce (sriracha) and chili oil if you ask. This may not be a place that I go out of my way to visit again, but would be a contender for a dependable, quick bite if I'm in the area. read more

Luckily there's a Dollar Tree right next door. The food overall was good, except for the teriyaki chicken. I should have known better looking at it. LOVE this place! Our family has been coming here for years - more than 20, is the best that I can remember! The two main ladies serving are no nonsense - they're there to get you in and out with your food - but they really are sweet. They both call my mom, "Mama." They are extremely generous in their portions, which are now $2.39 each, which is STILL a bargain in comparison to any Chinese restaurant. My mom's favorite is the orange chicken, my husband's is the garlic chicken, and I like the whole fried shrimp (the head is the best part!). They have a variety of Chinese-American staples. Actually, we haven't had anything we didn't like there so try everything! There are a couple of disabled parking spots in front of the store. They have a few tables to eat there - one inside and two outside, but they're mainly designed for take-out. There are no stairs to climb up/down. Beijing Express not only came through, but DELIVERED on Super Bowl Sunday! I called them same day at 2:15pm, asking for a party tray of S&P wings, and fried rice and it was ready to pick up at 2:45pm. Keep in mind the game started at 3:30pm! The S&P wings were AMAZING. So many people said it was still crunchy during halftime and that says a lot! Most wings when sitting for a little get soggy, but not these ones. So many places dropped the hat on SB Sunday not delivering on orders placed, well, not this place. This is going to be our go-to place now for party trays of food.
