This place is really good and affordable. We came here on a Saturday night about 2 hours before close and they didn't have that much food left but what they had was good. I got the broccoli beef and the mushrooms chicken and my husband had the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken and both of our orders together came out to less than $20! Their noodle were a tad dried but other items are simply delicious especially the BBQ pork....juicy every bite I went back again recently and just order three dishes without the noodles and rice. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this little restaurant while scrolling through google trying to figure out what to eat. Best decision I made that night was coming here. We came close to closing time so there weren't tons of options but we both got what we wanted so no complaints at all. The two ladies that were working that night were generous, kind and to be honest rare. My boyfriend and I came in not knowing they only accepted cash so we sadly almost left but the owner pulled us back in and said it was on the house. I would've gladly went to go find an atm but she refused and gave my boyfriend and I both free meals. She said "that's ok! There are no menu item labels on the glass, but most of the dishes look somewhat familiar? Point and ask to be certain. Knowing is half the battle! My loaded carryout meal begins with a half-and-half of veggie lo mein noodles and fried rice. It's a lazy call on my part, but I got the Orange Chicken since it's an simple baseline order and the quintessential Asian-Murican dish. She filled up the two side dish spots in the box because the main dish compartment was packed with lo mein and fried rice. My other item was the BBQ Pork Ribs. This place was just ok for me. There was nothing special other than the price. I ordered Ginger chicken which was supposed to be spicy but for me it really wasn't. It was tendered and the ginger was not over bearing. Next I ordered the Mushroom chicken with Zuccini and eggplant. This was delicious and the juice was great. It made me wish I had ordered a bit of rice so that I could spread it out some. I finished it with the Fried Pollack fish was they actually cooked it once I ordered it. I enjoyed that but the grease was a bit much for me and not very healthy especially because I dipped it into soy sauce. And for all of this I paid $5.00 and got change back so I put it in the "Feeling Tipsy" jar. I would go back again but only if i was in the area maybe. My husband works nearby so one day he decided to bring something for me. He said that he only paid like $8 so I didn't expect my meal would be great. Surprise surprise it was so good. Mine came with 3 spring rolls, 3 shrimp tempuras and yakisoba noodle and everything was great... especially I loved the spring rolls. Noodles were good, after adding a little soy and sriracha. Orange chicken was unique and very well flavored-Crispy and tangy, yum! Well, what a surprise -- a good one! I had my first visit to BE just a few nights ago. It was great to be able to walk in and get everything in just a couple minutes. The food was good! Better than many of the sit-down restaurants in the area...fresher veggies, lighter sauces. At $1.49 each, 5 items came to a bit over $8. What a bargain! We had rice, lo mein, broccoli beef (my fave), hot & spicy chicken, and garlic shrimp. It was the perfect amount of food for two of us (we had some rice left over). Next time we'll have a couple more items so we have extra for lunch the next day. If you're an ffc fan, try it out.
