I decided to come to Jamul casino on NYE. Emerald happened to be one of the few dining options we opted to try. I would say they didn't disappoint. The portions are flavorful and generously large, all priced modestly. The thai style fried rice was delicious with the seafood crab meat and shrimp. I think it has a unique taste compared to other fried rice dishes. The orange chicken was crunchy, with succulent juices. The duck noodle soup was decent in flavor. Finally, we gobbled up the Szechuan eggplant quite rapidly. That must have been our fave. In the end of the meal, we had a lot of leftovers. So we decided to eat the duck noodle soup clean, since it's difficult to pack that home. Again, unexpectedly large portions for a modest price.

First time this restaurant is inside of Jamul casino. Very clean and friendly staff. Food was very tasty I got chicken with veggies grilled and it coming with white rice . The menu is extensive like 3-4 pages. I recommend this restaurant ahh they have to go outside. Good job! Carlos was my server very friendly!

Aside from the amazing food ( must try to the banh Mi) what makes this place so desirable is the customer service . For years Leonila has waited on us , always smiling , her customer service is top notch!!!! She remembers repeat customers and if she doesn't know you she will sure strike up a conversation and make you remember her ! Her smile is infectious ! 5 Stars all Day !!!

The food is amazing at Emerald Chinese. It is fairly new here and we are happy to have a new Chinese restaurant nearby. The service was cheerful. The ambience was very, very beautiful.

We have tried almost every item on this menu and keep coming back to the bbq fried rice. Every time we have food credits, we use it all up on bbq fried rice. It is the best fried rice out there. Yes, fried rice is super easy to make but their version is so addictive. The rice that they use is short grain rice and it's dry not wet which makes it the perfect fried rice. The seasoning has a bit of sweetness and tons of bbq pork. You can place your order on the touch screen kiosk or walk up to the window to place your order. There's also 8 milk tea flavors.

Food is great! Service can use a lot of help.. The ambiance is nice, loud but then again, it's located inside Jamul Casino. Nothing much more to say besides the salt & pepper mussels & calamari are yummy.

When in Jamul Casino, this is a great place for your Asian food fix. You can dine in or take your food to go. The food is decently priced. If you are a casino player you can get a discount. Portions are decent and the quality is also decent. Since this is a casino, the ambiance is always a bit noisy or loud. If you're not in the mood to sit down, they can take your orders outside a kiosk stand to the right of the outside. They serve boba and Vietnamese coffee here if you decide you want something sweet. My recommendations: Angus pepper beef Salt and pepper squid Vegetables

The New Remodel is finished! Here's a couple of previews!

It's located in a quiet spot, away from the smoky casino on the hotel side. We were told there was a 90-minute limit when we got seated, but we ended up staying there for 2 hours. There were lobster tails, crab legs, mussels, scallops, steaks, sea bass, salmon, and lots of different sides to choose from. Our server was very friendly and attentive. It was such a long 50 minutes drive for us, but it was definitely worth the gas and time!

And shout out to the girl around my age, she was restocking everything almost constantly! She was keeping all the food fresh and flowing!!!! She had on some pretty lashes and she was strong as hell, carrying oyster plates and fruit plates. She saw me loitering by the fruits since I was disappointed that there wasn't any more pineapple and immediately let me know she would grab some more for me. She actually went above and beyond. I wish I got her name! Food: They used to have king/snow crab legs and prime rib, but now it's just dry steak. I could barely choke it down with their ajus. I was actually so excited to try the lamb but it was insanely gamey and almost ruined my appetite. It was so dry and it was like powder on my tongue. I really regret starting my meal off with it. Their prime rib used to be sooo juicy. I was shocked. The lobster, crab, and shrimp cocktail was delicious and fit my palate very well. My family loved their oysters. Plate after plate after plate of oysters and lobster... that's how you do it! The lobster has 2 kinds, fried and grilled. The grilled was surprisingly way more salty than the fried and slightly more rubbery. After 2, I went straight for the fried ones. Crispy, more tender and juicy, and it was like they had infinite lobsters. Each one is cut in half. The shrimp was huge and plump and the crab was pretty good. I tried a few of their side items like the peppers and potatoes, not bad, but not much else. I was there to get my money's worth. The rest of the stuff wasn't restocked as much, like the lumpia, broccoli beef, but i DO WISH I TRIED OUT THE CHILAQUILES BAR. But that's meant to fill you up on the cheap stuff. My mom tried the siete mares but she said it was pretty gross. Super salty, no other flavors. It changed locations and I really prefer the old one more. It was definitely bigger. It is very pretty though, overlooking the hills with ample bar seating. It can get a little packed but nothing crazy. If you go during the morning, you get a better deal. It's definitely worth a mini road trip if you reeeeally like your oysters and lobsters.

Jenna made sure all our questions about the menu were answered, she never made us feel rushed, and gave her honest opinion on what her best recommendations were. I have never had salmon this good in my life--hands down the #1 dish of the night. If you're a fan of fish, skip everything else and just get this. The Sea Bass was fresh and the quinoa it came with was actually really tasty, but honestly, it just couldn't compete with that salmon. As for the Tomahawk set, the steak itself was great and the lobster was super fresh. However, the grilled oysters were a bit of a letdown. I get that they put salt on the bottom to keep them warm, but these were just way too salty. We also tried the Seafood Pasta, which was just "okay"--it was a little dry and came out kind of cold. On the plus side, the fried calamari was solid. The service, however, is what really makes this place. It's always top-notch here, and Ricky was especially awesome and super nice to us all night. Final thought: Even though the Tomahawk was a cool experience, I think I actually prefer the $100 set more. It feels like a better balance of flavors for the price. Still a great night out!

But after seeing their multiple closures from the health department, and it seems like they are always closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (and last Sunday, we drove by and saw they were closing around 6, and not at the posted time of 8), it's like why even bother.
