We came in pretty late on Halloween night, and even though it was close to closing, they still welcomed us in with amazing customer service. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The food was so good! The chicken was perfectly crispy, super fresh, and not too salty. The wonton soup was delicious and so comforting, and our server even scooped it into individual bowls for us, which I thought was really nice. The fried rice was really tasty too, and I loved that it wasn't overly oily like at some other places I've tried. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. It was pretty busy when we went, and the inside can feel a bit small and crowded, but it has a cozy, local charm to it. You can tell it's a favorite spot in the area. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back. Great food, friendly staff, and such a welcoming vibe.

As a first timer at Mandarin Beijing, just wanted to establish and identify Mandarin Beijing service, real value, inherent qualities, and highlights: * Parking was not a problem. * Mandarin Beijing is a walk-up and sit down restaurant or dine-in restaurant. * One can order food online or call in an order togo. * Portions of food are considerable, and decent. * Both waiter, and waitress spoke spanish. * Tables, chairs, glasses, flatware, and floor were clean. * If you can... get here before 3.p.m for the "Special Lunch" ( More Value ) * Good turn around in a short amount of time. * Service friendly, welcoming, and atmosphere was good. * Food was served hot, pretty quick, and fresh . * Expect to pay or spend between $40 -$80 for two people after 3 p.m.

I needed a location to celebrate my birthday in Chula Vista. Mandarin Beijing was very accommodating in my reservation. Family members kept adding people that we had 17 people when dinner came around. It was a tight fit and we were warned. The place is big enough to accommodate a party no more than 15 comfortably. But they were wonderful and did the best they could. I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't take any photos from this meal. We were accommodated by a long table and everyone passed the plates and bowls around. The food delicious and well portioned. Service was wonderful and they did inform us that there would be a gratuity fee which was understandable with the size of the party. Everyone was happy with the food and service. Thank you, Mandarin Beijing, for making my birthday special!

Best Salt and pepper chicken you can get! Service is always fast and the staff is always friendly. If you have t had their salt and pepper wings or need a tray for a potluck order ahead of time. You won't be disappointed. Shrimp fried rice and BbQ pork is also a must have.

Located in Chula Vista, San Diego, Mandarin Beijing is a very consistent place for made-to-order Americanized Chinese Food. Because the dishes are made-to-order, you can't compare it to something you'd get at a Panda Express or Chinese Fast-Food spot. I came here on Christmas day and my phone order was ready in about twenty minutes. It reminds me of the food that I used to crave as a kid. While I do like to have dishes like house-special chow mein, broccoli beef, and sweet and sour pork, locals flock here for something very specific: salt and pepper chicken wings. My wife is from Chula Vista and, when I met her 13 years ago, we spent a lot of time looking to find salt and pepper chicken wings that were like what can be found in this southern-most county in California. Versions in LA and OC were nice, but different. Mandarin Beijing serves the wings in a light, crispy, thinly battered tempura-like coating with flavors from salt, pepper, garlic, green onions, and, most likely, MSG. It's craveable and delicious and it makes a regular appearance at family holiday parties in Chula Vista. Other dishes here are solid and well-prepared. Most of the entrees were priced around $20, which I thought was reasonable. When I was staying at SD, I think we were able to get four meals from our one order here (as we hopped between family events throughout the week). It's not a surprise that you see a lot of five-star reviews from locals as it's a great option for a family takeout meal. While this is largely a local's spot, if you do actually come to Chula Vista from out of town and you opt to eat here, then make sure you get the chicken wings.

Been a minute since we've been here! Good to be back! Today, we ordered the fried rice, fried chicken and beef broccoli. Washed it all down with green tea. God service!

I absolutely loved this place so much! The service was so good, all of the servers were so friendly and helpful! The food was SO good and I truly enjoyed all of it! Not pictured is the hot and sour soup that I got which was the main reason I wanted to go here but then we also got the pan fried dumplings, vegetable pan fried noodles, and Salted Pepper wings. Portions were way more than enough for 2 people, I would say a family of 4 could definitely share these portions easily. The ambiance was calm and family oriented, there were a few groups and everyone working there were so kind! I will definitely be returning!!!!!

The food was amazing and fresh. I dined in and ordered a combination sizzling plate that was massive! I took a box home and still had made 3 more servings out of it lol. The service was great and attentive and not overwhelming. It looked as if takeout is where the bread and butter comes from as the takeout line was almost always to the door. The ambiance was nice and I watched a local football game on the tv in the corner.

I don't normally write reviews but I ordered take out from this restaurant for the first time and I found a broken hard metal wire in my chicken chow mein.. I'm truly so scared I ingested other pieces while eating so that is why I'm making this post. The food tasted good but this was truly so scary to take out of my mouth as I felt something hard... so Please always check what you're eating.

This Chinese food spot is a mom & pop, hole in the wall type of place but usually that's where all the good family style food usually is. Service was very quick and nice, no complaints. I ordered a small $1.00 fried rice enough to feed one person and an entree of salt & pepper chicken wings for $16.99 and honestly that is a really great price for 12 big wings. Considering how a lot of Chinese restaurants are now charging $20 dollars and up for the same dish. Flavor was everything I was craving for. Salt & chili flakes were well balanced, wings were coated extra crunchy topped with the green onions. I also appreciated that the wings were not just salt flavor! I despise a dominating salt flavor when they are supposed to be s&p wings! Panda chef delivered on my first try and I definitely will try again!

This place has been there since they built the neighborhood, which is a great reflection of their food! This place is an Eastlake Greens staple. It's been a while since I've eaten in the restaurant since I always do takeout, but it's a quaint dining area. They do catering orders and are known for their salt and pepper chicken wings. The family that owns this restaurant are so nice and kind! If you're craving a local spot, I highly recommend!
