Love this place the food is always delicious. The service is always great. It's gonna be my favorite place for Sunday dinner in the area.

I've been going to the Sidro one since the 80's & love it there & their OG staff that is awesome with great customer service & delicious food. I live in Chula Vista so when they opened this location in Chula Vista I got excited, prices are a bit higher here due to different city & it ain't the same staff but the staff here is still very good. The food tho is as good, best ChinaExican food I've ever had, I call it that because it's a perfect flavor mix of Chinese & Mexican food it's like eating Chinese Mexican food. That's why it's always busy with Tio's & Tia's & the raza eating here & the owner is real nice & friendly he's in both locations. Best Pollo Cantonese & Duck Soup (no bones) is here hands down! Their red pork & Chop Chuey is one of the best around & don't forget to get the Egg Rolls their big & flavorful. The workers are Chinese but know better Spanish then me & I'm Mexican bilingual! Overall it's a good Chinese restaurant & I highly recommend it. I go to both now I love my Sidro one because of the original staff but I love coming here too because it's closer to home & food is as amazing. First time at Yungli Restaurant, this last week of December 2025. This restaurant is located on the southern part of Broadway St, near Main Street. Arrived for dinner with a party of 4. First thing I noticed was that immediate acknowledgment and allowing me to choose the table of my choice. Young lady greeted us at the table and speaking fluent Spanish. Ordered the family meal that feeds 4-6 along the Jasmine hot tea. The tea was hot but slightly bland. Nothing a small packet of sugar can't fix! L Roughly 10 to 15 minutes, our food started arriving. Piping hot and smelling delicious. Everything was so good! Vegetables, rice, chicken and soup all seasoned just right. Portions definitely can feed 6 people. We had plenty of food left so we asked for some to go boxes. Please note! They charge $0.50 cents per "to go" container. Which, I've never heard of in my life! Oh well, now you know. I went for the 1st time earlier today with my Mom. We ordered Comida Corrida 1 and boy were we in for a lot of food. I love their BBQ Pork and House Fried Rice. The Chicken Gizzard soup was just what i needed. The Sweet n Sour Chicken hit the spot and so did the Chicken Chop Suey. We had plenty of left overs to take home! The service here is outstanding. Good Chinese food is getting harder and harder to find these days. It seem that after the pandemic happened, unfortunately a lot of places closed the shutters for good, and some of the lucky ones that are still around only have a take-out model. Don't get me wrong, take out isn't bad most of the time. It's got a charm to it. Sitting at my table, in my living room, on the couch eating greasy grub is amazing. However, there's an experience of the ambiance of an excellent and well decorated Chinese restaurant with great food. This is one of those spots. They have the fish tank you used to stare at as a kid, the neon lights, and great artwork and figures. It's lovely. My first experience here was on a Monday night. I feel like most places aren't too busy on a Monday night. This place was packed. And it was about 8PM. We started off with some tea, egg rolls, crab Rangoons, and a cup of egg drop soup. Egg Drop soup is one of those things that I feel can really set the tone for a Chinese restaurant around here. Theirs is amazing. It's thick, almost jelly like, and salty, and full of egg. The broth is rich and tasty. Mmmmm. The egg rolls are decent. I could go on a rant about egg rolls not being how they used to, but I won't. I don't know if anyone will read the rest of this so here it is. Just show up here. I'm sure everything is amazing. The crispy beef and HK Noodles are absolutely on point. Top tier Chinese food! Very tasty with huge portions. Great customer service too. We went during an early lunch hour so it was pretty empty but they were very attentive the entire time. Ordered the Szchewan Chicken, Shrimp Chow Mein, Salt n Pepper Chicken Wings and Sesame Chicken (although I'm pretty sure they gave us orange chicken but we didn't complain cuz it ended up being really good). First time coming here. I was told it was the best salt and pepper wings to get and to be honest they were average. Not enough garlic or diced green onions for the price of $20 for only 12. I asked for chili oil and to my surprise the cups a very very small and it's more oil than chili. By the way they charge for each tiny to go cup for chili oil. Not worth the 30 minute drive I had to make to get food from this place. Place seems to give you little for the price you pay. We do takeout from here at least monthly. Everything we have tried is very good. Our favorites are the: Shrimp Chow Mein, Shrimp with Broccoli, Szechuan Style Beef. It's a little expensive but portions are large. read more

I went there for lunch to have the egg drop soup. I enjoyed it very much. I then ordered a lunch special of the Cantonese chicken. It was a huge serving which I'm sure some people love but the chicken did not taste like it was freshly prepared and and wasn't very tasty. The rice was even worse it had to have been from the day before because it tasted greasy and bland. I took about three bites and left the rest there it was a waste of money but I wasn't about to make myself sick eating it. I give it a two only because the egg drop soup was good. This place was amazing! My boyfriend and I went to eat here on Christmas. We got the sesame chicken, crab rangoons, white rice, vegetable lo-mein, and egg rolls. We didn't care for the egg rolls and the crab Rangoon could use more crab filling. Other than that, the food and service was amazing! We found this place because of Yelpers, thanks guys! Excellent, Mexican style Chinese food. Meaning everything fried is fried in lard which gives crunchy food a distinctive, rich flavor. The special house version of the wonton soup was A+++, the garlic spicy chicken wings were amazing and you can see it u der the mountain of shrimp and veggies but the shrimp egg foo young was also excellent. The most amazing part of our lunch was that every server in there spoke Spanish as good as my mother in law, albeit with a heavy, Mandarin accent. Came here today for lunch. A woman took my order. I'm not going to get into details as to the disagreement she and I got into. All I want to say to this business owner and to her: 1. It looks really ugly when you are in the wrong and you still cannot admit that you're wrong and continue to argue with a paying customer. 2. Instead of standing there and arguing with your customer, just take their order. Very simple. 3. Please remember that the customer is PAYING YOU. You are not paying the customer to order at your restaurant. Your customers keep YOU in business. Please remember that. We have many many other choices of Chinese restaurants to choose from. Please remember that and treat your customers accordingly. I won't be coming back. I must also say their portions are very large! Ordered grubhub from this place, and it cost close to $40 for Roasted Duck. I get it at the door and I got steamed vegetables drench in watered down oyster sauce, with left over chopped duck neck. No more than 2oz of meat, and that's me being nice, cuz I probably count the skin as meat. Receipt saids Roasted Duck, you're menus Roasted Duck pic was a half duck laying on a platter with vegetables used as garnish, for $14.
