Used to come here all the time because it was close to our previous apartment. While the serving sizes are still a good portion, the quality isn't the same as it used to be. The orange chicken was too sweet maybe because there was so much extra sauce which was off putting since I was craving lunch not dessert flavor. The beef in the broccoli beef was chewy and there was something hard in it that was neither beef nor broccoli maybe cartilage but not intended to be in the recipe. Not pleasant to bite into. While the person at the drive thru was nice, this location really needs to invest in a mobile wallet payment scanner like other local drive thrus have. For someone to have me unlock my phone and then hand it to them where they use it somewhere out of sight doesn't seem great from a personal information compliance standpoint plus if the cashier were to drop my phone and the screen broke, is Panda going to reimburse for glass screen replacement? If you're paying with mobile I highly recommend either going inside this location since they aren't set up for modern payment methods yet in their drive thru or going to a drive thru elsewhere where they scan your phone at the drive thru window and you don't have to hand it off to someone. read more

I have yet to find a Panda Express who makes their orange chicken with a consistent taste. Which feels like a lottery ticket... it's either super spicy to point it's just not fun especially when orange chicken is known to be sweet. but when it's sweet it's super super good! Which is heart breaking honestly because it love orange chicken from panda when they get sweet. The friend rice is very very bland. So the taste is underwhelming. so the lack of consistency while also pricing their food high is just not worth it. their service is normally slow and they don't greet their customers. The drive through was efficient and didn't take too long to whip through, place my order and then get my food. The lady at the window was friendly. However, when you visit a restaurant, it's the food that you're after. And today's food was a bit of a let down. The rice was dry; hard actually. I don't normally take the time to go out of my way to compliment a "fast" food restaurant (although I should when it's deserved), but my experience today has definitely compelled me to do so. I ordered online for pick up and noticed my order was not completely correct once I got home. I had promised my kids a "treat" and was a bit torn as to whether or not I wanted to drive all the way back or not, but when I called, someone offered to deliver us our order. Heard they had a $20 family deal. Tried ordering and was told could only do it through the app. It would be $34 otherwise. Pulled around to the parking lot, and tried to order through the app. Although it was over an hour to closing, the app would not let us place the order. It gave a pickup time of approx 35 minutes, then said there was an error. It then offered a pick up time approx 5 minutes later (40ish minutes). Tried placing the order again, got the same error. The app then showed no more pickup times available. What a scam. If they hadn't screwed up our order two weeks prior, and forgot our mushroom chicken, I might give them the benefit of a doubt. I'm really disappointed with the service. My husband had a really bad experience in another location so he got free entree cards (2). Now I went to use them and they told me I need to pay for the rice and chow mein, which I didn't have a problem with, but they gave a little tiny box for the entree's. When I went to pay for the rice and chow mein, they were charging me $12.60 I was confused and I asked why I was paying that much for chow mein and rice? Somebody else came and asked me "what's the problem?" (Making it seem like I WAS the problem) So I explained the situation. They took forever to figure the coupons out and at the end the two "FREE entree's" were worth $3 (total). It doesn't seem right or fair! After these 2 poor experiences, we WILL NOT give your businesses another shot. Thanks for the attempt but your franchises really need some serious coaching on customer service and your business model stinks if a dinner entree is a small box containing about 3 fork fulls of meat. We moved to the district area about 2 years ago, and I have since gotten such a gross taste in my mouth for Panda Express. Every time without fail, our food is gross. The rice is crunchy, the broccoli is barely cooked, the orange chicken is soggy, they forget sauces (like teriyaki sauce with my teriyaki chicken), the noodles are dried out, the list goes on. This is my local Panda so I've been here several times. The food is what it is. It's standard Panda Chinese food and for those of us who love it, it's always consistently great. But I'm leaving this 4-star review for the service at this specific location. In the many times we've been here, there have been a few mix ups, but every single time the staff has gone above and beyond to make it right. They are courteous and polite. They know when they are busy and when you go into the store they greet you and tell you upfront if there's going to be a little bit of a wait. The drive thru is always busy so I recommend going into the store to order and take out. I've been to numerous other Pandas around SLC but I always come back here because of the service and mostly always fresh food. read more

I love Panda Express but this location is terrible. Twice I have gone through the drive through and ordered only to have me wait in the parking lot for the food to get ready. When they brought me my food, part of my order wasn't even there. This last time I waited in the drive through for 15 minutes waiting to order and I decided to just drive away. Customers were piling up, including the drive thru, but they all got their orange chicken orders when it was ready except for me. I went up there to ask about it when they said they were out again and they'll bring it to me when the next batch was ready. That next batch came & went and my husband went up next to ask about it and was told we had to wait until the next batch was ready. We were already finished eating by that point. We waited for awhile longer, but ended up leaving. We should've gotten our money back but we were on a time crunch and just left.
