Dinner time here always seems busy, and there can be a long wait for popular items, like chicken teriyaki or honey walnut shrimp. On my last visit, I waited close to 20 minutes for chicken terriyaki. But it was worth the wait for this favorite of our family's. The staff here works super hard behind the counter and in front serving customers. I appreciated how generous the helpings were, whether ordering a platter or bowl. My only complaint here is not enough parking during busy lunch or dinner hours, but the restaurant itself is the quality and price consistent with other Panda Express locations. read more

Hi, I was in today 12/13/2025 as I was being served a blond haired lady was asked to clean the lobby (it was quite busy and a mess ) I saw as she cleaned the tables and chairs picked up trash on the floor wiped down the garbage , take the garbage outside ... Then asked a young lady behind the counter if she should get the bathroom garbage , this lady did just that . She even pulled everything aside as I got water 5 minutes later I hear a older man say wjete were you and she said I was cleaning and taking out garbage. His reply was we take 2 minutes to clean this lady was lost in what she was hearing and said I quit the guy said ok i asked if she was ok and she said she never had a human speak to her or treat her like that and she walked away crying. The food here is okay not original Chinese food but for fast food it will do. This location is very busy but they give you great portions and the staff is very nice. The dining room tables sometimes are dirty since the workers are busy serving customers. Top picks orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. The only thing I miss is when you can get a sample of something new they come out with but are tempted to get or not. read more

So I stopped writing reviews last few years because just been busy. And I hate to write a negative review. But I had to write this one. I've been eating Panda Express for last 30 years or so. Is it just me or has there food taken a dive last 5-7 years? The food is always soggy and lacking flavor. It's like they changed their recipes. Because it's the same food at all their locations nationwide. the same food years ago was always like szcheuan style, not soggy and very flavorful. Yesterday I had string beans and orange chicken. Both Super soggy and the fried rice was just bland. Threw away $10 worth of food. I hope someone at corporate reads this review. I can't be the only one complaining. read more

Very disappointed with this location. We ordered and paid for pickup yesterday at 8:36pm. I walked in, the gentleman asked me the name on order, which I said I wasn't sure if it was under my name or my wife's name. He said no problem and asked for order #. I provided it, he went and checked the orders they had ready, said they didn't have it. He called the manager, manager looked in the system, claimed he didn't get my order, despite me showing him on my screen the order confirmation with the order number. He asked my name, which I told him. After 15 minutes of seeing other customers coming and going, and the manager saying they didn't get my order, turned out it was on the counter the entire time getting cold. Manager didn't even apologize and acted it was my fault because the order was under my wife's name, even though they asked for my order number when I disclosed I didn't know whose name the order was under. Just ordered two bowls of orange chicken, one with rice and one with chow mein. We received 2 bowls with chow mein, no rice. Honestly, no big deal. THEN, halfway through one of the bowls my girlfriend found a HAIR TIE (image attached). A type of hair tie that my girlfriend did not own (well I guess she does now). We called and the manager immediately said that no one working had any hair ties (guess that's just something he reflexively knew). He asked for our name and said we could have a free meal. Can't prove intentions, and even though the manager didn't sound sympathetic, that doesn't mean he wasn't. And given the circumstances I don't know what else he could do besides offer a free meal... BUT, all that being said they got the order wrong AND there was a hair tie in the middle of a bowl. Panda Express food is delish, but there seems to be some serious quality control issues with this location. My girlfriend is still currently gagging. read more

If you need dinner - and quick - this is the place to go. They have a good variety of food to choose from, and for a good price. My absolute favorite is their cream cheese rangoon - definitely a must try. The service here was also great. They were all so genuinely friendly. Came here today to pick up an Orange Chicken Bowl via T-Mobile Tuesday promotion. Noticed that the food was prepared in a small carry-out carton instead of the regular black bowl container. When asked why the Orange Chicken Bowl wasn't in a bowl, was told they ran out of those containers. But the very next customer in line got their non-promotional to-go order of a single entree in a bowl. Another store employee came out and sarcastically asked "You know the Orange Chicken is free, right?" 1. Thanks for telling me it's free, but I knew that because it was a promotion with T-Mobile to get more new customers, which in this case completely backfired since I won't be coming back, at least to this location. Few minutes later the skinny little manager came by and asked us how everything was. We said everything was good. Ah yah, I do love my authentic American-Chinese food. Okay, Panda Express is not really authentic. Rather, it's as authentic as the Long Duk Dong from Sixteen Candles. A little off from the real thing but still a classic. I come here for one dish in particular. It's truly an American creation that even has authentic Chinese restaurants adding it to their menu. There are plenty of replicas but no one can beat Panda's. This is still the best place under all of the heavens for Orange Chicken. Panda Express does a great job of taking inspirations from Chinese cuisine. Recently, Panda has added new dishes that draw from Korean and Thai cuisine as well. I know what you are thinking. How can I keep going to this place even after eating some of the best Asian food in Thailand, San Francisco, and Toronto. It's simple. It's conveniently located in strip malls or food courts, the prices average around $6-7 a person, the food is consistently good, service is always quick and customer friendly, and they have Orange Chicken. Chinese fast food not the best quality. The food is greasy and mediocre. The prices are only slightly less than a Chinese restaurant where you can get quality food. If you are in a rush and are very hungry for oily American style Chinese food stop in for lunch. They do serve a big portion and even though the taste is not great you can get very full eating here. They have some style the service is alright and the eating areas are clean. Not bad for a fast food place food not the highest quality and not healthy for you. It's a bit dark and just looks sad. Comparing to the Panda Express at home--Rockford. The one by Red Robin and Sams Club is a lot cleaner, more attentive, more organised and the lighting is brighter. When you walk in to the one at my home, it just feels happier. And at home they give you a fortune cookie. I have not gotten one here, I feel sad here, and there are no chocolate cookies here-one at home has them. Overall I like Panda Express. But this location is just not that great. And I don't plan on coming till they fix up clean-organised-attentiveness Actually, this is after eating here. The food just tasted old. Honestly, the Panda Express at home-the food is being cooked the whole time; here, the food is only being cooked when on demand. So that statement, you go to the Rockford Panda, and your food is fresh, hot and tasty, because it's being cooked and new patches every minute. This location, just dull, run out of chow mien and they'll make it, the fresh batch won't be ready, or a batch won't be made, jus a single if needed. The floors here are awful-petrified by how the kid walks by checking around, and does t notices the floors? Really I see the the whole floor and I see how dirty it is. If I were rating on customer service alone I would give this location a 5/5. All staff were courteous and helpful. I wanted to write this especially to say thank you to the manager John. He is a hard worker with an upbeat attitude. He took pride in this location. As a manager he was out cleaning up the restaurant after other patrons and checking in on tables making sure they were enjoying their food and their experience there. Which is much more than I can say for some more expensive places in the area. As John was checking in on our table my 8 year nephew made sure to make John aware that it was his birthday. John then went out of his way to make my nephews birthday special. That kid left the restaurant really happy. THANKS JOHN!!!! And the only reason I'm rating this experience a 4/5 is because their grilled teriyaki chicken was a little to fatty for my personal liking. read more

So I just had Lunch from Panda and It was so tasty. Everything I had was fresh from this location. I have seen some other locations not have so great of food. Now, I try not to go to these locations right before they close. Their night food does tend to be a little older. The food quantity was massive. It was so good, Orange chicken is my favorite thing to get from Panda. It's very Americanized chineese food so if ordering from China1 is too china for you then this is a great choice. I do have to say the place seemed a little understaffed. I ordered online thankfully otherwise they had a line to the door and it seemed to not be moving very fast. I did have to wait a little bit for the food to get put in but once they noticed me waiting in the line the 1 person actually making the plates for people fulfilled my order and I was out the door. I showed up here running late after work. They were 10 minutes from closing, and they didn't have the dish my wife was craving. Once the worker, Maria, noticed that I was disappointed they didn't have the dish, she sprung into action and said to me with a bright smile. She said to me "if you'd like to wait 6 minutes we can make you a fresh one." I told her I didn't want to do that to them so close to closing time, they were nearly finished. She assured me that it was no issue at all and told the cook to make a fresh batch, he nodded and smiled and got started. I do not know his name but I would like to recognize him as well as Maria for making my night and being so kind and accommodating. As I went to pay she handed me a cup for a free drink for the "inconvenience". Inconvenience? I'm the one who should be apologizing and yet she made me feel like it was no issue at all. Fantastic service and will come back to this restaurant specifically because of how Maria and her cook worked together and the way they treated me.
