Went in yesterday to get some chicken and chow mein. The door was locked at 4:45-5pm. No sign was posted saying the dining room was closed, even though there were guests eating on the inside. When I finally got to the counter to order they were out of mushroom chicken and the chicken with green beans. But what really got me was that they locked the doors with guests inside during business hours. That is a fire safety hazard. I have no clue why the doors were locked and no notice saying why. I recently moved from California to Red Oak Texas. Unfortunately this location is a disaster. I have only been here twice. The first time the food was not up to par and an item was forgotten. Decided to try one more time last night and just ordered a bowl for my wife and a 2 item plate for me. Got home and opened my container and there was only 1 item and a space for the second item (Beijing Beef). Clearly this franchise location deserves a big "F" for failure. These kids who are left there to operate this store are not well trained. This is totally the franchise owners fault. I hope it gets fixed. I am in the drive through on my way to work and placed my order no problem. Pull up to the window told there is a wait for teriyaki chicken 7 min. (I couold have been told this at the drive thru before they took my money but was not). I was asked to pull forward and I did for 20 minutes. Sitting in my care having a discussion with my husband if they forgot us or not....They did. I got out in the rain went inside and asked, did you forgot us? They had no idea. Then I was told they were only waiting on meat they had been serving other customers. So I asked Ms Alicia(who was so proudly willing to give her name in a very rude manner) For a refund and her reply.. "Oh! you aint gettin yo money back." I asked her o remake the plates that had been sitting for 25 minutes and she dumped the noodles back mixed them up and the rice remixed also and remaid plates with fgresh chicken. Now I have worked in food management and I know there is a rate bacteria grows on food. I wasnt eating that. I need all my social media platform to know this is not acceptable. Drive thru experience today was terrible. I had to wait a total of 25 mins here for one plate of orange chicken and one bowl of teriyaki chicken. Had to wait in parking lot for them to bring the food out for just 2 orders. Once I got my bag of food the order was completely wrong like it was someone else's. Pulled into drive up line...and after being trapped in line by cars ahead and behind, finally got to order. 37 minutes after arriving at Panda I got my order. Other than main entrée it was all wrong. I went inside and ordered, and they didn't have what I wanted and had to cook it, which is fine because there were a good amount of people who ordered the same thing. The issue is that they told me it would be a 10 minute wait and that they would bring me my food. I waited inside for over 20 minutes and when I went to check on it, they had forgotten to give it to me. So by the time I got it, it was cold, and they even skimped on the amount of food they gave me. The most rude people I've literally ever dealt with in a drive through. Wouldn't read the order back to me. Talked over me the whole time I would try to order, and then proceeded to yell at me at the window when I was driving away. All I did was ask her to repeat the order to me because she didn't at the time I was ordering. Also, did not ask if I wanted any sauces so I had to wait for them to open the window again so I could ask. Normally I would not complain like this but this was just all crazy to me. Paid over $7 for a Panda Bowl, something that I thought was Kid Sized. Paid $1 extra for the angus beef entree, got like a spoon full of beef and that was it. If you decide to eat here, ALWAYS check your food before you leave the drive-through. :( You have been warned... The only reason this Panda location is getting 2 stars instead of 1 star is because I absolutely love Panda's food in general, and they sometimes give you a free drink if they mess up your order or you have to wait awhile. But I'm not exaggerating when I say that EVERY SINGLE TIME I've gone through the drive-thru at this location, they have messed up my order. Every.Single.Time. Whether it's the wrong entree, the wrong kind of rice, not including the number of sauces we requested... Something's wrong. We've learned to check before we leave the parking lot or we'll be inevitably sad when we get home. This last time was something special though... I noticed on the receipt that they had the wrong entree down for one of our orders. I corrected the error and they gave us a free drink because we had to wait longer. Well, I foolishly figured I caught the error because SURELY they wouldn't mess up an order twice in one trip. Right? Rightttt? Wrong. :( I got home and discovered I had fried rice instead of brown rice. Now, some of you reading this may be saying, "Ah, just eat the rice anyway!" But here's the deal. I hate peas. Peas are yucky to me and fried rice is FULL of peas. So I had to drive back to get a new bowl. I got there and explained that I didn't even realize the error until I got home and had to go all the way back. They replaced my food... But didn't offer anything. Not a free drink, nothing. :( Yes, my husband had gotten a free drink 15 minutes earlier, but that was due to a different error. I'm not sure why they're always running out of stuff and why the orders are always wrong. Maybe they are short-staffed. But I'm just not sure if I'll be going back to this particular location. When you order bowls to go, it's hard to open the bowl in your car and push the entree around enough to inspect the rice below and make sure there are no dreaded peas hidden from your sight.
