I had no choice on here but to give one star however I would rather give no stars!! My husband and I ate there last night at Red Oak Panda Express. He ordered chow mein, teriyaki chicken and orange chicken. I ordered chow mein, orange chicken and Bejing beef. Shortly after eating, I became horribly sick. Food poisoning! I believe it was the bejing beef. This morning I'm better but was up all night vomiting, etc. We will never eat there again! read more

I used to really love this Panda Express the food was hot and the bowl was filled to the top. In the last 2 times I have been the food is cold, I get half a bowl and at the price of this food I expect the bowl to be full. Got Brown rice because Fried was out or I would have to wait, well I ended up waiting and asked to pull forward anyway. Very disappointed this was a good store people were friendly and the service was good and the food was good quality. Seems like they need to find better employees there must be some kind of issue since each time I visit there is someone new and they seem rather clueless. I will be going back to Wall down the street, at least they give you enough food for 2 meals for the price. read more

I like Panda Express because of the variety. The food is generally good. I have been to this location twice and both times and they were out of several items and I had to settle for something else or wait 10min. The staff were very friendly and fast. I don't go thru the drive thru only go inside because I like to look and choose my entree, and there is little chance of them getting the order wrong. read more

This location is horrible. The lady at the drive through is incompetent. I explained what I wanted several times and she absolutely just could not seem to comprehend what I was requesting. I told her I wanted a double plate with kung pao chicken and honey walnut shrimp with chow mien. She kept on trying to charge me for two chow miens and $1.25 twice for honey walnut shrimp. So then at that point one of the Hispanic guys came on the mic with an attitude and tried to reiterate what he thought the Hispanic lady was trying to put in and I never got smart with them at all. I just said I'll drive up to the window so we can get it right. She finally understood what I trying to order and then apologized for the mistake but when I got my food it had SEVERAL BLACK STRAIGHT NOSE HAIRS in it. Now it is barely tolerable to have one nose hair but several!!! This was done intentionally! Absolutely disgusting!!! Eeeewwww!! I just threw it away. I will never go there again!! read more

Always a disappointing experience the few times I have been here. The service is incredibly slow and the workers are unapologetic for the very long wait times as if the 35 min drive through time is normal for them. They always skimp on the portions and the orange chicken is always overdone. I have experienced the exact same issues every single time. They were low on Beijing beef and asked if I would like to wait for them to prepare my some fresh. I said yes. That was at 7:30p. It's now 8:00p. And still don't have my food. I won't be back any time soon that's for sure. This place is always slow. read more

I've been here a few times. Always seems to be a disappointing experience. But the main problem is the employees are either lazy or stupid. When the pan of whatever entree meat is almost gone, its time to cook more. But they never do. Every time I've come in here, multiple pans are nearly empty. They tell you 5-7 minutes. I was told this on the black pepper chicken. Said they would cook it fresh. Brought my to go box to me after the wait, opened the box and it was a ton of onions and celery. Where's the chicken? Why did I have to wait if you were just going to throw the scraps in my to go box? Today I came in, and they have a new recipe. I wanted to try it, but guess what. Nothing in the pan. Have been here 15 minutes, and they're still not cooking anything. It's too bad. I really Like Panda Express. This one is just run poorly. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. EVERY TIME I come to this location and order through the drive thru it takes FOREVER!!!!! I have been to this location many times and every time it is the same thing. The last time was 35 minutes-I'm not even kidding. When I finally got to the window the cashier was rude; the manager asked me if they could offer me a free drink for my wait. I just wanted out of the drive thru!!!! Because my family likes Panda Express I stopped in again, thinking maybe they have corrected their slow service-but nope! Still had to wait 20 minutes just to place my order because the drive thru speaker system was not working?? So after 35 minutes in line I finally get my food. Do yourself a favor and skip Panda Express in Red Oak! -unless you enjoy sitting in line for 30+ minutes.. read more

This is the best Panda Express I've ever been to! Great service, new building, very clean. I've been to lots of pandas in California, but this location blew my mind. The food was hot, fresh, and not too greasy. The guy at the counter was really friendly. My daughter, husband and I love this place! They have a good variety and have friendly service. We love their honey walnut shrimp the most. Its sweet and savory. We also love the beef broccoli, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and the shanghai Angus steak. You have to pay a little extra for the shrimp and Angus steak but its well worth it. read more

I've been to many Panda Express restaurants throughout Dallas and surrounding suburbs. Let me tell you, this PE has the freshest food of any I've tried. We've been here a handful of times. I'm not a fan of this chain in the first place, but this location is just not good. Our egg rolls are always burnt, I order mixed veggies as a side and I don't think they even cook them (I realize they're supposed to be crisp after cooking but not crunchy and not cold, without any sauce or seasoning), and they take FOR-EVER to get you your order. This is the first time I have ever just stopped and sat down to actually write a review for a restaurant that I usually have great service at. Today it was the absolute WORST!!! The servers and cashier were not thinking about me as a customer as my food sat on the checkout stand, 1 foot in front of me for 5 minutes while EVERYONE just walked by and no one asked if I was being helped, or apologized for the wait I had. To further illustrate how uninterested they were in helping me as a customer, when the girl finally checked me out, she said thank you have a nice day, and forgot that she NEVER HANDED ME MY FOOD!! Nope. It hasn't gotten any better after months of being open. No matter what time of the day or which day of the week, they always seem to be out of something I order. Most of the time, it's the teriyaki sauce for the grilled teriyaki chicken. The last three times I've ordered it, they tell me it's going to be 8 minutes for them to make the sauce. Last time I left without it because I'd been in the drive thru line for 30 minutes! However, the chicken wasn't moist enough without the sauce so I didn't eat it. Called them & told them I'd be back in the next day to get my sauce. Just went again today & the same, exact story - they're out of the sauce again & need to make some - it will take 8 minutes - which always turns into no less than 20 minutes. Just left with nothing today & don't intend to go back. Unforunately, the managers evidently don't read these reviews or they might be inclined to make some changes to keep from losing customers. I would eat Panda Express at least once a week, every week but not at this location. I'm done with them! read more

I've been here twice and both times were very different. The first time was the way it should be. Went through the drive thru, paid and got my food in a timely fashion. The second time there was a sign stating the drive thru was closed for some unknown reason. I go inside and off the bat I could tell the 2 female employees had some attitude. At check out I was not thanked for my order or anything. Gave the girl my card, swiped, gave receipt and walked off. The fried rice was bland and the broccoli could've been cooked a little longer the second time around. Hopefully they hire some new employees. read more

I'll start by saying the food at this location has always been good, HOWEVER if you plan on going here, bring a puzzle or your laundry to fold while you wait. Both inside and the drive through have horrendous waits at pretty much any given time of day. The staff has always been very kind and apologetic regarding the wait time, but still. We will keep coming to this location because there's nothing closer, but it would be so great if they could figure out how to cut the wait time down. read more

I have to especially commend Amber for such infectious service to my granddaughters and me. I patron this location because they are the only licaton who caters to my request to give me more broccoli than carrots or cabbage when I order veggies. I never have any flack or issues. This place is the worst. Pulled in the drive thru at 12:20pm for lunch and got no answer after waiting several minutes. Parked and tried to go inside but the door was locked even though the sign says they open at 10:30am. Saw several employees inside cleaning and standing around. Made eye contact with a young woman who ignored me then turned her back to me. What the hell? Left and will never go back to that place. Worst customer service ever. read more

If 0 stars was an option, I would go with that. This is absurd. Nothing fast food about this place in Red Oak, TX. I hate driving to this location because going into it I expect poor service, I have felt that every single time. Tonight was the breaking point. I put in my order, once I got to the window I was told 5 min because thy still have to cook some of the stuff I ordered....of course. At least I was going I get fresh food. Well that's what I thought. 5 min turned into 10 and 10 turned into 15....it ended up being 23 min for them to get my food out, which is not going to be fresh at all. Only reason I stayed was because I paid for it. Can't toss in a free drink or side of orange chicken for me waiting this long? Well that's the last time you guys take my money. I'm done. This place keeps getting worse! Went for early dinner this week - floors were dirty, only one semi clean booth, had to cook shrimp dish I ordered - we'd almost finished our meal but hadn't gotten my shrimp - went to check - the serving bowl was full - asked the server about my order - "oh, I forgot"- what a disappointment as it had no flavor whatsoever - the vegetables were way past fresh. The end was an employee arriving to work with a huge hairdo that was not covered in anything but a little band. Really? Hair in the food now? I agree with other reviewers' remarks about tasteless food, inattentive staff, dirty floors & tables. There are other places to go here. read more
