When I go out of state, I do like to stop at a Panda Express if I see one. I always get the chow mein and orange chicken. And I know the taste to expect, as it's been the same since I first had Panda Express decades ago: delicious. This Panda Express did not have the taste I was familiar with at all. It was disappointing. It's not the quality. That was fine. It just had a different taste and not one I liked. I only ate 1 bite of my noodles. I ate half my chicken so it didn't go to waste. The saving grace was something new I tried: honey walnut shrimp. This was very good and I ate all of this and left on a full tummy despite throwing much of my plate away. Also, my fortune cookie was empty (although I read this is a good omen). Service was friendly, the place was clean, but I wouldn't come here again due to the taste not being what I am accustomed to. read more

This was my first visit to Panda Express. Very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was helpful when I told him my time there. He showed me my options!! Everything cooked fresh. I went with 2 entrees and one side. I had Kung Pow Chicken spicy with peanuts and the Teriyaki Chicken breast and Lo Mein with cabbage. Also took an order of two spring rolls. Everything was great. We were recently on a road trip struggling with the usual conundrum of choosing between fast food places (where the food is usually subpar and unhealthy), or table service places that use up more time than road travelers have. We saw this Panda Express coming up and were inclined to try it because our experiences there have always been good. But we almost skipped it because of the bad review score on Yelp. We're glad we ignored the bad reviews because our experience here was exactly what we wanted. The genius of Panda Express is that the food is immediately available but it's much better than fast food burgers that tend to make me keel over and want to nap. What's also great about Panda is that the staff always seem better trained than in fast food places. That was absolutely the case here -- we were greeted by knowledgeable, polite and helpful personnel who answered our questions and served us quickly. The food was great. The Panda system is to provide a small number of recognizable, standardized Chinese dishes and to prepare them the same way in every location. Not the place to go to if you are looking for pickled pig's feet, but if you will be happy with broccoli beef, kung pao chicken or any of about a dozen other familiar dishes, you'll find a good rendition here. Members of our party had the black pepper chicken, the mushroom chicken and the honey walnut shrimp, and everyone found their food delicious. We were in and out in no time, feeling satisfied rather than bloated. We made a mental note to post a positive review so that other travelers won't be misled into passing it by like we almost were. read more

The Panda Express near where I live in NC was a certified train wreck so this location was a welcome surprise! Decided to eat here based on proximity to my hotel and needing to eat before heading back to visit relative in rehab facility. The doors to this restaurant are VERY hard to open - so difficult that I thought they were closed. I saw another customer also yanking to get door open. Another minor issue, this restaurant is near a large hill with a lot of foliage and believe it or not, the restaurant had "fluffs" from flowers nearby blowing around INSIDE. Very odd but it happened. Food was pretty good - I ordered a BIG plate and couldn't finish even half of it. I chose the angus steak, the honey shrimp and chicken with mushrooms. Steak and shrimp were so good, chicken was just meh. Order totaled about $14. Got two meals out of it, not bad. I noticed some recent reviews of this location were pretty bad - I had a different experience. Both ladies that I interacted with very pleasant and friendly. Food was a 3.5. Lot of food for not big price. I'd eat here again and probably will soon due to needing to be in Morgantown for rehab visits. read more

Newer location off of the new Morgantown exit. Convenient location, good amount of parking, drive thru, very clean inside. The food is everything you expect from Panda Express. You choose a bowl (one side, one entree), a Plate (one side, two entrees), or a bigger plate (one side, three entrees). There are also ala carte boxes. Panda Express is known for its orange chicken and delicious chow mein. My personal favorite is mushroom chicken. This location gets a four star review because the staff was some of the least friendly I've ever encountered at a Panda Express - likely sleepy college students, since we stopped for early lunch on a Saturday. Overall, don't hesitate to stop here for good, quick food and a clean facility. read more

I've been to this location twice, when it first opened and yesterday. I will never go back to this restaurant. I ordered online, and then drove and waited in line through the drive-through for over 30 minutes. When I got home I was shocked to see that all of my food was wrong. I called and they gave me a full refund. I was hungry and decided to try and eat the food that they gave us. It was old and bland. Avoid this restaurant. No one at the store picked up my call, nor did they talk to the delivery guy. The delivery guy told me he was informed about the delivery through Doordash when the store was already closed. Are you kidding me? I'm still waiting for the refund and if they don't I'd have to dispute the charge on my credit card. When this place first opened, the food was okay-ish. Now, the chow mein is often dry and hard, the rice is usually clumpy, and the vegetables (especially broccoli) taste like they've been cooked for days. There is no freshness to be had with any of the food. The rangoons have a weird consistency inside. The meats range from soggy and fatty to dry and tough. The staff is unfriendly, and the dining room tables are rarely clean. Avoid this "Chinese food" and order from one of the local delivery take out joints. read more

Tried this restaurant for the first time. It was unusually slow for the time of day. We went through the drive thru so I didn't have to take kids out of the car and our server Megan b was very patient and friendly. She explained everything to us and gave us her recommendations and their sizes are above average for the price. We had to wait about 5 minutes for fresh chicken teriyaki but it was well worth the wait. She even included a coupon for a free entree next time we come in because we had to wait. Overall, great experience. Husband and I Will return. Can't wait to try the new chicken next time. read more
