Employee helping me out just seemed to be in a rush to get my order and get me out the door as it seemed like it was close to closing time. The dining area had already been swept and mopped, and the chairs were already put up on the tables. So ambience was nonexistent, lol. Ordered some chow mein, walnut shrimp and orange chicken. But management or a higher up needs to talk to "Kristine " very rude and unprofessional towards customers and was rude towards cashier. Her customer service is non existent and comes off rude and rushes the guests. Constantly says "anything else " and "AND". With a rude tone and demeanor. Panda Express is pretty much a Jack in the Box of Chinese food. Some locations give bigger portions. Others smaller. This is average. The food is good. The service is good. It's always clean and is consistent with other PE in all areas. Neither pro or con.... It's the same experience I show up for to get a quick meal. read more

Give Credit where it's due! Thank you Natalie for your kind presence, such warm welcoming radiating from you to your customers. As we walk in we noticed most staff were busy with orders but she made time to smile, acknowledge us, and let us know she was coming. Thats all people got to do, is communicate with someone standing there to pay for a service. A bit of common courtesy goes a long ways. Kindness definitely reflects to one another as well, it's contagious and helps give a positive calm experience. Thank you for giving us a few shorts seconds to at least explain its busy and you'll be helping us as soon as you can. Sometimes we get ignored but Natalie definitely stood out. Very kind, even gentle bed side manner to my grandmother, respectful, and patient. Gave such beautiful plates, she gave plenty, which doesn't mean she over shared the portions. She just gave enough where it's not greedy or over spilling from too much being served. Some of the staff Ive noticed from past experiences, that they are a bit stingy, like barely one scoop and the portions barely even pass up how small the two entrees borders towards the top. I used to be a regular customer at this particular location in Cochrane Plaza, however my visits have been few and far between these days. I find that this location doesn't restock the entre selections I come in for, or run out entirely. Also I've noticed price increases, particularly when getting an item ala carte as opposed to a platter which seems to contain more rice, and less of the item I wanted. On my last visit I was charged more than $13 for a medium size carton of Kung Pow Chicken and a regular drink. The "medium" size container contains barely enough of the item to fill the plate they typically load up with rice when ordering a "2 side" platter. The bottom line is Panda Express has become too expensive in the last couple years. Although I find a few items flavorful and delicious, It's not worth the trouble wondering if they have the selection you come in for. read more

We ordered online and Paulina helped us. The mobile order wasn't ready when we arrived, and in fact, it wasn't even pulled out of the POS system despite the store being empty. I had ordered a combo of walnut shrimp and I saw her scoop up the last few left. I asked her if I got a full order and she said they only give 7 pcs per order and I received enough. When I opened my box, I showed her that it wasn't enough. She accused me first of eating it, and then was petty enough to add 1 piece of shrimp in its own tiny box and deliver it to my table. Apparently, I value food from Panda Express nine times more than children at a children's hospital. I paid around $9 for my food. Then the cashier asked me if I'd like to donate to the children's hospital. I said, "yes" assuming that they were going to donate a fixed amount. Then the cashier asked me how much I'd like to donate. My hands started to sweat immediately. This is where my true character was going to come into play and boy was I disappointed with it. I donated $1. This Panda Express made me realize that I'm more invested in their chow mein/fried rice than helping sick children. I may be making excuses, but I'd like to think if the circumstances were different I would have donated more. Like if there was a better person right in front of me that donated $5 or $10, I'd probably do the same. Or if the cashier would have changed her wording. If she said, "would you like to donate to dying children that desperately need your help or are you just paying for the chow mein and fried rice?" There is no way I'm just donating $1 after hearing that. At the end of the day, it isn't the cashier's fault and it isn't the better person's fault who wasn't there to show me how to be better. The only one to blame for my weak donation is myself. The next time I come back here I'm going to show myself and the children that I care. I would like to start off by saying Panda Express in most locations overall is great! I realize each location has different management and staffing. Unfortunately I cannot make that claim for the staff at the Panda Express in Morgan Hill on Cochrane. Every year my company does a Thanksgiving lunch and delivers food to over 15 locations in the area. This is for approximately 25 people per order. This year I was particularly disappointed in the Panda Express located at 250 Cochrane Plaza in Morgan Hill. Our company has so many stores to deliver lunch to and have to juggle who gets delivery on which day. An error was made on our end and we placed the order for pick up Monday rather than Tuesday. When I arrived to the location at 250 Cochrane Plaza on Tuesday the staff told me it was prepared for the previous day. I was perplexed and did not understand why if the order was fulfilled for the prior day why they would not make an effort to contact me. They claimed to have called three times but with caller ID I knew this was untrue. I asked if they left a message and they said no they did not. If I had received three missed calls or even one call and a voicemail I would have come to get this food and deliver it personally a day earlier than expected. As a professional that has worked in food service in the past I would have gone out of my way to ensure the customer received their order. As a business owner I would expect this company to give minimal customer service. I am happy to take responsibility for the ordering error but the confusion and waste could have been avoided if the Panda Express management were trained properly. The staff was rude, and not helpful. Please have a training in customer service. read more

Nothing fishy yet right? Well if you have ever been into one of these places you know that employees never ever scoop the food into containers then hand it to the customer directly. Food gets lined up and they bag it as you pay. So Julianna was the employee working station #1 where they ask if you want rice, noodles, or veggies. She proceeds to look shifty during the entire process and my man was the one that pointed out what was going on. He was sitting in a chair off to the side observing. So Julianna starts filling the containers and hands them directs to her customers from the rice and noodle station area. When they turned around it was apparent they were her family since they all looked alike. I mean one looked exactly like her twin. If I had to guess I would say it was a mom, dad, sister, baby, and one other person. They then acted like they were going to pay walking in line still in that direction, then slowly walked around the line to the soda station and around to a table closest to the door and sat down to eat. The next person in line saw this happening and decided to mumble in Spanish to up his portion sizes and she laughed and happily complied. I was next and boy did she push me through FAST. At this point there was a line to the door and growing. I should point out that even with my status in this line I was still in there for 30 minutes. The employees were so incredibly slow, zero drive to whip out these boxes and get people out the door. I have been to A LOT of Panda locations. So if their manager ever bothers to read this, you might consider watching them carefully. If I was in charge I would be pretty upset watching my businesses standards being compromised, free food handed out shamelessly, and poor customer service. i went to Panda Express last week and i do have to say that it was not as i expected I walked in and the young man who was cooking welcomed me which made my day. The food was DELICIOUS. But the young girl in the front named Belen was a little off. I remember how she acted when someone asked her to do something and the constant eye rolling made me feel uncomfortable. The kid who waited on us from beginning to end was too engrossed in watching the other two employees who were on break, thinking they were talking about him.
