This location struggles to keep employees. Management fails to schedule more employees during peek hours. Which being in a very commercial area they should be aware that from 11-2 it will be busy. Placed order online. When the pick up time was ready, I went in and found out they lost the order, they said they never got it and was very rude about it. They acted like I was wasting their time. I showed them the order email and had to wait again for them to make it. Meanwhile, the person at the counter continue to be rude and was yelling at other customers who were coming in for their orders. today i was driving past panda when i saw this gorgeous man through the window. i immediately slammed on my breaks and got rear ended, but nothing could stop me from seeing who that man was so i flipped a u-turn in the middle of the road so that i could get to panda. i wasn't even planning on getting panda today but i just had to know who he was. as soon as i parked somebody walked outside to open my door for me. as i glanced up to see his face, i realized that it was him! he was a panda worker and his name was carlos. i was so shocked that it was him. i was also shocked that this panda express has valet. carlos reached out for my hand as i stepped out of my damaged car. he had apparently witnessed my car accident from the window and he said he wanted to make sure i was ok. i told him that i was ok now that he was here. after the valet took my car he carried me inside the restaurant. he told me that orange chicken had all of the proper nutrients to help with my back ache. he seated me at a table while he went to grab me my food. the portions were amazing! he told me he cooked it himself with his own personal recipe, and it was the best orange chicken i've ever had. my back ache went away immediately. even though i live 6 hours away i will definitely come back everyday to experience carlos's beautiful charm and excellent customer service. read more

Bad Quality Control. Ordered take out and the fried rice was so bad, it had chunks of hard, old or burnt rice in it. I called to complain and they offered to give me another order of fried rice. So I drive all the way back and the server starts to scoop the rice in front of me and I can see the old chunks of hard rice and I point it out to the server. He says "oh yeah, I see it. I'll try not to put them in your box". I tell the guy they should dump the batch as it was pretty bad and it almost broke my daughter's braces. I was waiting outside in line to go in to Panda Express for at least 20 Min. with about 6 other customers when a customer walked in front of me and said she had called in her order. When I finally got in to the restaurant and went to the counter the server would not help me as she said they were setting up orders for call ins first. I saw a line of people including the call-in customer waiting to pick up her order along with others customers waiting for their orders. (I might add the call-in customers were not standing 6 feet apart). Nothing wrong with my food or my order. But there was a Spanish speaking customer who asked for someone who spoke Spanish to help him. The Spanish speaker refused and the customer was turned away. I clearly heard her say she didn't have time tell him to look at the pictures or order online. The online app wasn't working when I tried that's why I called in. I don't speak Spanish so I couldn't help him. Knowing someone who worked there did and refused pissed me off. There was barely a line. But even if there was he waited his turn. Past 3 times we ordered online we had to wait 20-30 min after our pick up time! They don't even realize there is an online order!! First time we let it go, second time we called customer service and they sent us a meal pass, third time again we were like ok it's busy lunch time, things happen. This time was ridiculous!! Sent my daughter to pick up order and when she reached there they told her that the place is under renovation so they forwarded the order to Tenant branch!!! I was so upset! Used to be ok because of a male employee who was working there. He was the only one who seemed to be actually working there. Now, it's pretty bad. The fried rice was bland. Also, the lady skimped on our sides and entrees. I have never ever received such a small portion from any PandEx before. I was pretty shocked. I always regret the decision to stop here after work. Last time I had the same experience as the Yelper "Liz" when I observed the counter clerk bend over backwards to top off, and fill up Spanish speaking customers' orders while I waited, and waited, and waited. A couple months pass and I convince myself that this "Panda can't still be that bad...." because, I'm tired, and don't want to cook. Why should tonight be any different? As I approach the counter I see nothing has changed; they are out of Angus, veggies and chow mein. I can see that the clerk is about to scoop a spoonful of onions to complete my Angus order -but I ask her to request more be cooked. That, and the more veggies and chow mein. And like every other time, I end up the chump who has to wait 30 minutes because opening packets of pre-cooked meat and sauce is hard and time consuming. Can't be because they don't have enough staff, two people at the counter, and a "cook." Of course the "packet opener" wasn't actually "cooking," he was chatting with an important customer (I assume) while I waited for my order... as usual. If you don't value your time, and enjoy being treated like a completely invisible, unimportant person that deserves to be ignored, this is your place to eat -just to pick anything popular, because you're going to wait a while. This location is so darn stingy with serving food even when you order the food that is an up charge!! They always seem short handed, long waits even when ordering ahead and they handle money and your food without washing hands in between! They wait to make more food until completely out then everyone is waiting for them to make the food or just give up and leave. They don't keep the tables cleaned and we have come at several different times of the day now and it really hasn't made a difference!! They don't wear gloves to handle food which would help since they handle money then go back to the food. My order was supposed to be ready at 7:11pm I arrived at 7:15pm I'm just now getting my order and it's 7:30 pm! I hate Panda Express and this one is no different. End up coming here for lunch sometimes because its quick. The food is always the same quality (bad) so you know what to expect. My main beef with Panda is this. For 7 bucks or so you get 2 entrees and a side which is already pretty expensive. OK so the side they give you takes up most of the box while you get 2 small single scoops of entrees. I mean small. Like not much at all. So an ENTREE is bigger than a SIDE right? A SIDE is NOT SUPPOSE TO TAKE UP THE MAJORITY OF YOUR PLATE. Anyway I hate the corporate greed this place entails and I have a suggestion for you if you want to eat chinese in Morgan Hill. Go to Golden China Restaurant in the Old Albertsons parking lot near Monterey and East Dunne Ave. Check my review of there place while your at it.. You will get 3 times as much food that is cooked to order for 5 dollars and 3 cents. After we finished paying I went back to the cashier to ask for some hot sauce to which my voice cracked and sounded low. My husband went to get us some food to go last night at the Cochrane location. Why he always goes to this location is beyond me as I always go to the location on Tenant. The service is 100% better and cleaner. This location, the windows and floors are always dirty no matter how busy or not busy it is. I had a plate with brown rice, green bean chicken and teriyaki chicken. I only had a little of the teriyaki chicken and saved the rest for lunch which I do a lot. Well, the rice was not cooked and I have brown rice I cannot even eat because half of it is uncooked rice. We eat Panda a lot (from the Tenant Avenue location) and I have never received half cooked rice. We will never visit this location again. read more
