I looked at the reviews on here and frankly I think YELP needs to start verifying customers, because I read these reviews and think that someone just has a personal vendetta against this restaurant and has started a campaign to ruin their reputation. I visit here at least once a week throughout the year, and frequently twice a week. In fact just visited today! The food does occasionally run out, but that is because unlike every other Panda Express I have been to, the food is cooked fresh here and not sitting all day (I mean seriously, who likes BROWN broccoli). Every service member of the team is exceptional. I have never once had a problem. I think the solution to most issues people have is the drive thru - not in and of itself - but the fact that customers think their food is going to be as fresh or as good once they drive it home and eat it as compared to eating in. That is just ignorant. My only concern at this location is staying on top of the trash during busy times - only because I feel bad putting more garbage in an otherwise overflowing can - but I realize it can be hard to keep up with with how busy this place is during peak times (which is a living testament to the quality of service and food). I had a very disappointing experience at the location on Ernest W. Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw. I was initially told the wait would be 5-10 minutes, so I decided to stay. After waiting, I was informed that it would be another 15 minutes. If the actual wait time had been communicated from the beginning, I could have made an informed decision instead of wasting my time. Good customer service starts with honest and accurate communication, and unfortunately that was lacking during my visit. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and will be advising my family and friends to avoid this location as well. Very disappointing. read more

Great location. We have ordered a handful of times from this location for pickup and haven't experienced any issues. I've read many reviews for this place and haven't experienced any of the issues other customers have had. Our food is always fresh and tastes good, and we always have a nice serving in our to-go boxes. No complaints here. I have not eaten inside yet but the outside of the restaurant is easy to maneuver and there is always parking available. read more

There always seems to be a shortage of food here. They don't do a great job of keeping all of the items filled at all times. Either you're scraping the last bits of it or you have to wait on the item. On the most recent visit, we also weren't allowed to try an item first. I remember they used to so you could try a new item before ordering it. Aside from that, the food quality itself tastes decent. It's not going to be the best Asian food you've tasted, but it's a quick meal if you're in a pinch. The prices are slightly on the pricey side for Asian food, but not too bad overall. read more

Ordered online and went to go through the drive thru to pick up so I didn't have to take my daughter in. the person working the Drive thru was refused to let me do this (like I do at any other location) and made me come in. She was also EXTREMELY RUDE. I went inside and my food was not ready even though I received a Notification that it was. They made me wait and additional 40 min inside on one item while the rest of my order sat out. Got home and the one item I waited on was wrong and the rest of the food was cold. Beware! Went through the drive-through and ordered a plate. When I got home and looked at my order, this was my beef and broccoli order. This is a fairly new Panda Express for the area. It's located next to a Quik Trip and a Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers on Barrett Parkway where the new Whole Foods is located. The Overture Barrett Apartments are across the street as well as a dunkin Donuts. The place is very busy around lunch and dinner time as expected but I think they move people out pretty quick. In the beginning I think they were a little new so weren't quite use to the pace of things. But luckily whatever kinks they had they smoothed it out and now they move people through pretty fast. I think they're a great addition to the place and looking forward to returning again. read more

THE WORST LOCATION I have EVER been to. I placed an order to deliver to my work, for an event, catered. I set the delivery at 10, FOR 3p, meeting time. At 2:50, saw an update from Uber Eats that the new delivery time is 6p. Meeting at 3, not going to work. Called Panda...no answer a few times, and then finally, someone answered. I explained that the time just changed on my order and that the driver textd me stating that he was turned away when he went to pick up. THey insisted it was an Uber issue, and to call Uber. They stated they need two hours for large orders. I informed them the above, that I scheduled since am. NO dice. I called Uber Eats, and they were just as perplexed. So I placed another order...same thing. Placed though this time, said eta 40-60 mins, but once placed, said 7p. The restaurant clearly tweaks the timing. Canceled that one... Now, it's time for my meeting. Meeting started at 3, I'm speaker one, and don't go in until 3:10. I speak, and by 3:20, I'm back on my phone, trying to get resolution. I then realized they are 9 mins away, so figure let me run and get it. I leave to get. I get there. No hi, no nothing. I'm in a hurry, keep in mind trying to get back. One person at register helping someone, and one RUDE "Latina" looking chick. I say "excuse me", and the reply is I NEED to wait. I wait....someone else comes and I inform her that I'm the person who ordered 3tx, and left my BIG meeting to come get my order. I ask for plates, and utensils. The Latina chick is standing there laughing. The black chick is getting the utensils, with a smirk. I said I'm not sure why you have an attitude, when I am supposed to be upset. They literally laughed. I then grabbed the stuff, and as I was walking out, they both laughed. Noting was funny about the situation. It actuallly caused me major anxiety. I ALMOST went off on them, but then realized that they're low budget, uneducated clowns working in fast food. I also had my company name tag on, so thought twice. Haha, defintely would've gone viral. I called several times to speak to a manager, and they do not answer. I never got a sorry,nothing. These people are the epitome of trash. I will NEVER order from them again. DON'T GO HERE! Pick another Panda Express. The employees have two speeds SLOW and STOP. It takes two people to read and complete each drive through order. Nothing is ordered from the cooks until they completely run out. The staff will completely ignore people in line while they figure out drive through tickets. As the staff can't figure out the simple process of taking orders other things get ignored, the cleanliness of the seating area and restrooms get bad quick. We ate outside as it was cleaner. Drinks are self serve, but sweet tea being a staple in the South runs out and they will not refill it. I had plenty of time to observe all of this as I was 3rd in line and waited twenty-five minutes just to order. The food is good, the staff is the worst. read more

Attitude. Attitude, Attitude, Attitude. With the health crisis going on individuals like myself and my companions have been staying home to stay safe. Every so often, we decide to eat out at small businesses, however my aunt and mom choose Panda Express. It's been nearly a 10 months since we have been there, and therefore not aware of any changes for this chain. Not much of a problem, but it started with teriyaki sauce, I didn't see it in it's normal bowl so I inquired about it, I received a curt "I'll put some in your bag". Following that, my mom asked the exact same question and I hurried to answer her and alert my aunt as well before the annoyed associate gave them the same treatment. Things got really absurd when I presented a redemption code, the associate didn't seem interested in taking it at all. She rudely said "The code has to have 5 digits", as though she wouldn't (not to be confused with couldn't) accept it and I responded telling her that there's only 4. It's always been 4 from my recollection, I paid for my food and earned my free item, so "I do not understand". In a less than clear sentence, I was told they changed it. I responded that I wasn't aware, and without letting me finish to let her know this has been our first outing here in a while, she went on to say "Well I'll honor it this time", again I attempted to give her advice on why he don't know that and how she should take that into consideration, again met with the "I'll honor it this time" bit. Her disposition was nasty and that was her solution. The fact that she's aware of everything going on, it's to be expected that some of us AREN'T going to be aware of the change, and therefore her delivery was very distasteful. This is the 2nd location of this chain I have issues with and its exhausting. We as consumers are not associates and will not know anything that has changed unless otherwise noted, when it comes to that a simple FYI would go a long way. I honestly won't be back to this location, I'm normally a second chance kind of girl but that experience really rubbed me the wrong way. I actually contemplated this review for the simple fact I haven't reviewed in MONTHS and I didn't want my return review to be a bad one, but here we are. Now writing this review, it gave me the opportunity to see that other individuals were disappointed in this location as well so its a certain no for me. Multiple times they were "out" of white rice or chow mein somehow. This visit today at 7pm they were out of mushroom chicken and honey sesame chicken, the teriyaki chicken was so salty I couldn't eat it. The staff makes no attempt to rectify the unavailable food items or cook more. It feels like a McDonald's ice cream machine situation. I am very surprised the service and food continue to be this poorly executed, considering the very busy area. Do not expect friendly service. I have been there a few times hoping that things would improve, but they have not. By their level of enthusiasm, the workers seem like they are on their last day of their two-week notice. On my last visit, I was overcharged. When I mentioned this to the worker, I was told that they can't give refunds for wrong receipts in the store. I was directed to their company office in California to get a refund. When I called California, I found that they do not answer their customer service line, even though their phone tree tells me that there are no callers ahead of me. However the portion size you get is downright insulting! I got a bowl with fried rice and honey sesame chicken, I got 9 pieces of chicken, NINE, I paid $8.80 for this with a drink. You're telling me you charge almost $1 per piece of chicken?! Insanity. I've complained before and I complained this time. The managers response? "That's our policy." I had a horrible experience today at this location. I ordered a pick up order so I wouldn't have to wait in line. To start off I HAD to wait until I got up front to pick up my online order. The whole point to order online is to skip the line and pick up. Especially if you're paying before you even pick up. Second I understand we have to be cautious with everything going on right now and cover up and rest others. I ended up forgetting my mask at work so I walked in covering 80% of my face with my thick hoody. Which seals in more air than a mask that has many openings. And I was told I cannot grab my food that I already paid for until I got a mask. So I had to go back out and had to use a clothe that I use to clean my car with and cover my face with that. One that was dirty and also released so much more air I to the environment than my hoody would have. All in all, horrible service. read more

Panda Express' food isn't bad, but the customer service at this location makes it absolute garbage. The drive-thru monitor is broken and you have to wait until you're at the window for your total, so you'll have to trust that the 15-year old manager on duty got your order correct. Spoiler Alert: She absolutely won't. Fortunately, there's a Freddy's next door so after you finish explaining to the rude and immature staff here that 'paying for stuff you didn't receive is a bad thing', you can pop next door for a Frozen Custard and a steak burger. I only had 1 entree. They charged me for 2, and then they told me they were not able (Or capable) of giving me a refund. In the year 2017 they were not able to process a refund. I won't be returning to this location and I would hope they can figure out how to ring up orders correctly, and process refunds in the future if mistakes are made. read more

An hour and a half before the close and there is no white rice and they aren't cooking any. It is literally the cheapest thing they serve but they don't care about customer service.
