Everything was spot on for this visit. The fried chicken pieces were nice and crunchy, the katsu was perfectly golden, and you already know the rules: two massive scoops of white rice and a solid mound of mac salad. Of course, I had to choke the rice and chicken in the chili. When you need that quick fix and they nail the execution like this, nothing beats it. Glad to catch them on an awesome "hit" day!

Lots of parking available as well since this is part of a shopping center. Made reservations via OpenTable and glad that I did because I noticed this place was pretty busy for brunch. I believe brunch is on Saturdays and Sundays. My party and I shared the Korean Chicken & Mochi Waffles and the Two Eggs with Anykine Fried Rice and Portuguese Sausage. We also ordered a bottle of mimosa to share. Portions aren't really big but this was enough food for the both of us. Food was delicious and we recommend ordering them. We didn't realize that the spread for the mochi waffles was wasabi-based, so beware if you aren't a fan of wasabi. Our server was friendly and helpful. I loved the ambiance of this place. Great place for families and catching up with friends. I recommend stopping in!

I highly recommend avoiding this place if you are planning a special occasion--or any meal at all. Our experience was a disaster from start to finish: * The Birthday Guest's Meal: The birthday guy ordered the steak frites. The center of his steak arrived raw, and his fries were soggy, limp, and stringy. * The Burger: My other friend ordered a burger. It was entirely uninspired and nothing special; he ended up leaving a quarter of it behind on the plate. * The Anykine Salad: (MORE LIKE WASABI KINE SALAD) I initially ordered the Anykine Salad with chicken and absolutely hated it. The entire dish tasted overwhelmingly of nothing but wasabi, and the chicken was so incredibly dry it could have been a prop. * The Dessert: Our server was kind enough to take the salad away. Because I felt awkward sitting at the table without food, I decided to try the chocolate mud pie as a replacement. It was severely freezer-burned and so rock-hard that trying to cut it with a steak knife nearly split the ceramic plate. Nobody at the table enjoyed it and since we paid for it, ate what we could handle, and we left a quarter of it behind yet again. The only saving grace was our server, who was attentive enough to clear the inedible dishes. However, the kitchen's performance was completely unacceptable. I feel terrible for bringing my best friend here for his birthday and subjecting him to such a miserable experience. Save your money and go somewhere else that actually cares about food quality.
