I haven't been to Subway in quite a while so it made it an easy choice while we were waiting for my tires to get changed at the nearby Costco Tire Center. I decided to have the 5 Meat Italian today and it was delicious. Despite the line of customers at lunchtime, the staff were friendly and moved quickly to get our order taken care of and it didn't feel like we waiting long at all. The sandwiches were packed nicely and were easy to open and enjoy when we got home. I can't always say that about Subway sandwiches during my previous experiences at other stores, but today was great. The restaurant was very clean and not hectic feeling so I feel confident that it would be a place where I wouldn't mind just sitting down to have my sandwich next time. We tried a new one and today's special called the Baja Chipotle Chicken and Billy made it absolutely delicious! It was service with a happy smile. The service was an absolute 5. Thanks for making our day Billy! The place was spotless to include the bathroom. Parking might be a challenge but it's worth it as this place is probably the nicest Subway on island! RUDE SANDWICH ARTIST NAMED CALLIE!!!! Today my husband and I went to enjoy a late lunch and we couldn't decide which sandwich so Callie looked irritated because we were inconveniencing her at her job! She threw her hands up because we were taking too long to decide. We got through the order and made it to the register and she was giving us attitude about what sandwich i ordered. I responded to her TUNA with attitude because she made my sandwich and i told her upfront we wanted the deal of the day. SMH. She mumbled under her breath and I told her what did you say? She said, she said mmmhmm. I told her, I don't appreciate her attitude. She said she's just matching my energy! Boy I have never heard an employee say that. So I got upset and asked for a manager. Better to order online and pick up in store versus dealing with the lines as this location gets busy around lunch and dinner times. The staff are nice and the orders were prepared in a timely manner. Clean store with lots of indoor seating. Parking is tight but not impossible. read more

Terrible experience . I usually go to the waikele location because I have had bad experience here in the past but figured I would give it a try. Sunday evening me and my girlfriend went in around 7 to pickup dinner. The two young boys were playing rap music (first turn off). Then I come home and open my sandwich, completely skimped on the meat and veggies. I get the same order every time I go- this time the quality was terrible. Then come to find out, the cookies which I paid for were not in the bag. I didn't even bother to call but I would like to speak to a manager. I come weekly and it's quite an inconvenience to have to a further location to receive better service and quality, but I guess that's what I will have to do going further. Sooo everyone has had Subway sandwiches at one time or another right? If not then I got the Subway for you! Located in the small strip mall next to the Costco Waipio. I'm not gonna go into detail about the sandwich because I gotta say. I ain't had a bad sandwich at any Subway on this island, but this place has customer service in spades! The Bruddah making the sandwiches was awesome. Super friendly, super helpful in the choices, and super fast and efficient. He wanted my veggie order before my sandwich was outta the toaster and he hit it perfectly. Even offering extra everything if I wanted it. Who does that? And while I was eating in the super clean restaurant I even heard him making a sandwich via speaker phone for a customers wife and he was just as friendly and efficient with her. That's awesome. This place better watch out. This sandwich maker's CS skills are on point! Anyway only down side is the actual parking for the building. It's horrible but that's not their fault. I definitely love subway but the sandwich my hubby preordered for me was a little too soupy. As we walked in, our order was ready for pick up. We decided to eat in as the drinks were free refills. I don't remember what sandwich hubby ordered for me but it was ham rolled up in a mozzarella ball. It had spinach, tomatoes, extra mayonnaise (which I dislike), and some Italian dressing which made my sandwich more soupy and messy. However I did enjoy the sandwich but hubby obviously doesn't know what I like and dislike. I would rather have the sandwich with minimal mayonnaise and no dressing inside it. I washed my sandwich down with a diet Coke. I also got to have Sun chips but was too full to eat it so I saved it. There were a few tables inside where you can eat your sandwich. Haven't been here for a couple years. Thai used to be my go to subway. So, today my husband and I were craving for something healthy and quick. We ordered our all time fav! Footling sweet onions chicken teriyaki on wheat bread. The bread tastes old. Not fresh for sure. It was on the dry side. But the sandwich was really good regardless. We also got our all time favorite oatmeal raisin cookie. Hmmm, I was a little sad. It wasn't soft and chewy. It wasn't fresh and on the hard side. So I ordered something else, ask some questions which sandwich is better, that person seem upset....I almost said, if you don't like your job....Quit! Anyway, I order something anyway. They get 1-star for customer service. I haven't been to this location in a while but I didn't want to drive far and needed a quick meal. The service is always just ok. Slow workers. Today I went in around 4:30pm. The girl behind the counter kept trying to talk to the other worker while beginning my sandwich. She asked me three times if I wanted it toasted. I was the only customer there. I move over to the veggie section and I see this container of unappetizing green stuff. If looked like, well, you know. It was dark green. Then I look at the small handwritten side and it says guacamole. It just looked really gross. Like how guac looks like when it's two or more days old. PRO: Location. Right next to Flagship Fastlube, where I take my car to be serviced, as well as Costco, where I do half of my weekly shopping. Drop off car, eat at Subway, shop at Costco, pick up car. Sometimes, walk over and pick up a cup of coffee from Starbucks. SO, yes, location is good. For me. CON: Service. This has to be one of the two worst Subway locations, as far as customer service goes. The workers always seem to be in a rush, and they never, never, smile. read more

This is my go to location since it is close to my job and my nail salon. I normally get good service and never have any problems at this location. Today, I was surprise to see new faces. I was greeted immediately as I opened the door. The 2 young men working acknowledge me once again when I approached the counter & let me know they would be right with me (washing their hands and putting in new gloves). They apologized again for the wait and asked for my order. One young man went ahead and made my sandwich while the other cashed me out. I've been coming here for years and today was the fastest I've ever been served. My sandwich was made to perfection, very neat and exactly how I like it. The workstation and counter was very clean. The chip stands were fully stocked with chips, new varieties as well. I ended up trying 2 different ones. I just wanted to give a shout out to these 2 young men. They worked so well together.
