I ordered a bigger plate with noodlesx2 orange chickenx2 and greens. The greens are in the same container so i have less noodles, chicken, or greens than what i paid for. They also barely cooked the noodles. They are so stiff its hard to grab with a fork. The chicken is rubbery and the greens are undercooked the cabbage is basically raw. Looks good though read more

I put in an order online for pickup. The place was fairly clean. I went in at my pickup time and the food was not ready. It was dinner time so I figured they were busy but I did let the cashier know I'm here for my pickup order and it wasn't at the pickup area. I waited total of 15 minutes for my food to be ready. When I finally did get my order, the cashier girl wasn't even apologetic or even kind. It really annoyed me that the workers kept working on walk-in customer's food instead of mine. When I got home and looked at my food, it looked like they forgot to finish up my bowl; there wasn't enough angus black pepper steak in comparison to the rice. I would say it was a typical Panda Express -- quick service, well-stocked entree items, sizable portions, and clean bathroom. But very similar to another review below I ordered the two plate with sizzling shrimp and orange chicken and was surprised to find that there is $1.25 up charge for the shrimp. I only got three shrimp, but there is no sign anywhere that tells you there's enough charge for choosing that as one of your entrée choices. I hated to find out at the cash register that there was an up charge for that seems like they would let you know so I ended up paying 1075 for my lunch instead of 950. Food taste old, broccoli and beef wasn't that bad but you can tell that none of the food was fresh. The shrimp tasted like fish, and had a smell to it as well the service wasn't that good but definitely better than the food I wasted my lunch break thinking im going to enjoy the food I chose. Then they over charged me but didn't give me my side entree for the bigger plate. Instead they put it on my plate and I paid $15 for a $11.50 meal. BEYOND pissed. Ordered 3 small entrees on Grubhub which was $16, thinking I'm about to get a whole bunch of food, and instead I got bite sized boxes which qualify more as a snack. How is each of these $5??? Then when I complained, the cashier at the front was going to accommodate me and give me something else, but then the managers refused and said I have to stick with it. Usually when you complain about food at a restaurant they accommodate you. It's not like I ate the food and came back with the empty boxes asking for more food for free. I even offered to pay for the difference in ordering something else, but no, they said I had to keep it and call Grubhub is I wanted a refund. I didn't want a refund, I just wanted a sensible amount of food that a grown adult would eat! The managers should have understood that the same way the cashier understood. Panda Express there should be no reason why this Polly Pocket, Wish App sized box of food would cost $5 vs a full plate of food for $8. These miniature boxes are almost the same amount of food that they give you with the plate and 2 entrees, which makes no sense at all. You really need to disclose that a "small entree" means bite sized on your website. So in all this, NEVER ORDER THE SMALL ENTREE unless you just want a "sample"... Cuz that's what you're going to get. And also Panda you need to revise your pricing structure or increase the size of the boxes. read more

In person service is very slow on a Saturday evening at 7 pm. I was waiting in line for 15-20 minutes. Workers are more focused on fulfilling on-line orders. There should be a separate area set up for putting together food for on-line orders. Chipotle has this set up. Take some lessons! Panda Express is definitely not fast any more! read more

I've been to this location many times in my travels. I usually come before my flights out of bwi because of it's close proximity to the airport. I wouldn't say it's my favorite place in the world, but it's consistent and clean. I've done work and met people here for meetings and they have a counter with outlets which is a plus. I have used the WiFi from other companies in this plaza while working so it's a good place to get things done. read more

J is for Jessup, MD Continuing with the alphabet series, like the letter I, the letter J was tricky as well. One day in 2016 while working at my office on the south side of Columbia, I looked up where the nearest Panda Express from my office, and perhaps Columbia Mall was slightly closer, but I went with this location for whatever reason (I might've been traveling to Baltimore City or wherever for work that afternoon). I also had a coupon for a free entree; so I think I gorged myself on a 3-entrees instead of my usual two. See my Panda Express review in Halethorpe (looks like I'm only 1 of 3 to have reviewed that location.); I talk about that they have bowls, and I never realized that was an option as out of habit I always got the 2-entree plate. As normal the Orange chicken was great, and the rest of the items were moderately good but nothing exceptional. The issue I had here was that it was really warm in there maybe like 85 F. It's the middle of summer they should have the a/c working. read more

I had an errand to run in Jessup so decided to come here for lunch today as it had been awhile since I'd been to any location. I got a bowl which comes with one entree (honey walnut shrimp) and a side (honey walnut shrimp). Compared to other locations I've been to, the shrimp was a bit soggy but on the plus side it was warm since the restaurant just opened at 11. Service was fast as there were more employees working than I am accustomed to since this is a stand alone shop not like in the malls where I normally go. Employees were friendly. Restaurant was clean. Actually had an employee cleaning while I was there. If I am in Jessup I would come again but try an entree that isn't supposed to be crispy. read more

For my first time, I must say I really liked it!! I got the orange chicken and the honey walnut shrimp with plain white rice. I am a VERY picky eater, I wish i wasn't, but i ate most while there, and took the rest home. The portions are a great size i was full to the max twice from the one meal and it was delicious!! This place was pretty busy which is a good sign. They have a counter where you choose your selections. I recommend checking out your selection as they prepare a batch. Sometimes the food does not stand up to wait times. The have a large seating area with tables and chairs. read more

Not my fave Panda Express location. Visited here and John was my order taker. He rushed me through the entire transaction to the point where had I not been extremely hungry, I would have went elsewhere. I like to take my time when I'm ordering a meal to make sure I'm getting exactly what I want--how I want it. I ordered beef broccoli and orange chicken as my entrees. The beef broccoli had way too much broccoli and not enough meat. When I finished the meal, I still had six pieces of broccoli leftover. Mind you, I ate one piece of beef to one piece of broccoli. There's no way I should have had that much broccoli remaining. On top of that the orange chicken was mostly fat and the breeding wasn't crispy like orange chicken should be. It was a bit soggy and chewy. Plus, he gave me way too much rice. If I wanted a full plate of rice, I would've eaten at home! Again, had I not been extremely hungry, I wouldn't have eaten this mess. Was in the area at the truck stop. I thought I was gonna eat some good food but when I got there they had barely anything available. I asked the server to see if she can cook some teriyaki chicken since there wasn't any left and she was being completely dismissive of my request. She I guess got tired of me asking and she told me to ask VANESSA I'm guessing the supervisor for that time. She told me that she couldn't cook me up the chicken. I got there before 9 and they close at 10. Sucks that you gotta lose business for your employees being lazy. Knowing that there are plenty of local Chinese spots, this place was never in my mind until one day going to MOMs. I had a friend that lives in California and she loves Panda Express.... Ironic right? Californian that loves a chain restaurant. A Chinese one at that. So I decided to check this place out and had low expectations. Service was pretty fast; around 5 minutes passed by till I took my order with a long line ahead of me. I wanted to get Spicy Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken but I think they misheard me for Black Pepper Chicken and Sesame Chicken.... ????? I didn't really care though because I was hungry and it all looked pretty tasty. Got my food to go, went home and turned on The Raid 2 while I was munching on this dish. The rice was a bit overcooked and the noodles were dry but pretty tasty. The Black Pepper Chicken was pretty good but the Sesame Chicken was very generic. Mostly batter and had the same sweet taste as other Chinese joints. The portions are big though. And it's cheap. One big container full of food for 7 dollars?? Not bad at all! read more

Then the first person scooped away all the chicken I wanted. I was told I had to wait 10 minutes for more chicken to be cooked. It's 5pm and there were people lining up behind me. It's now 11am and they don't have steamed rice, tell me I gotta wait 20 more minutes. Every dish no matter what features rice and u don't have any? 15 more minutes for teriyaki chicken. Placed an order for 11:30am pickup from the Panda website. I got there about 5 minutes early to make sure the food wasn't going to sit for 10 minutes before I picked it up, but when I got there they said I had to wait until 11:30 to pick it up. Ok, strange, but no big deal. I then waited until 11:50 before I piped up and asked where my order was. The cashier tried to tell me that I placed my order for the wrong timeslot, for 11:30pm. How is that possible?? Panda closes at 10pm. Oh right, she looked at when I PLACED the order, not when I was supposed to pick it up. THEN she tried to tell me I had already placed my order through Doordash and someone had picked it up already. I chose pickup the last night because it said Panda didn't deliver to my location??? By the time I got my food it was noon. It's unacceptable for a place to just let customers stand in the corner for 45 minutes before they get their food. No refund, no drinks, nothing was ever even offered. This was during the coronavirus pandemic, too. I just wanted to get in and get out to maintain social distancing. But that also means there weren't any other people in the store. I literally just stood there in an empty restaurant for 45 minutes. Fuck you Panda I'm not coming back to this location read more
