This is the 2nd time in a row this happened to us. The ratio between protein and vegetables is so far off where you mainly get vegetables and 3-5 small pieces of meat that look like crumbs. First time here and last time. It started off pretty good until I had questions. My food was the worse. Veggie spring rolls tasted like mush, the super greens were just greens no flavor, the noodles were DRY and no flavor and the shrimp? That's another story... I think it was under breading. Always been a fan of the Panda Express. Yesterday they only had 3 people working. They same guy that made the orders, had to ring you out, and answer phones. You are one of the few places open in that area and specialize in take out... really should have a full staff. My biggest concern is even though the guy is using the scooping spoons, he really needs to have on gloves because he was also handling the money. read more

I ordered this location through DoorDash and never in my life have I seen a Panda Express with this low quality food!!!!! The walnut shrimp was mushy and the batter was falling off the shrimp! The chicken teriyaki had no teriyaki sauce, tasted old, and was shredded so bad like literal pieces and mainly fat! The rice was hard and a joke. I got the worst service tonight I have ever got there. I asked for an orange chicken bowl with rice! There wasn't even a full scoop of orange chicken. When I went back inside to complain the woman supervisor on duty only wanted to give me more rice, she threw away the entire bowl when I told her I wanted the chicken I am paying for. Why couldn't he just put a total of one scoop of chicken I stead of throwing away the entire thing? Honestly if the Beijing beef wasn't so good I would never come here, but considering it is, here we are. Customer service is abysmal. Last time the nice manager was very accommodating but I guess today was his day off because jeez. The lady taking our order had a AirPod in and quite frankly shouldn't be working the front. The attitude and looks she gave me were completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Now I understand this isn't a five star restaurant but Jesus Christ at least act like u wanna be there when customers are in your presence. When I arrived in Charlotte NC to visit my nephew who just graduated high school, I asked him where do you wanna go to eat? He said Panda Express. I was like OK, where's the closest one we were in south clt and he said don't go to the one in pineville instead we went to this one. I had the general tso's chicken, and let me tell you I was in heaven with it, I loved the location and the interior had such a comfortable setting, that me and him went back three times after this visit and enjoyed our food. This is not a bad place to go for quick and easy Asian food. I enjoy the fact that you can see all your options as you walk down the line. I got the orange chicken and noodles, and it was satisfying and not too salty. My only complaint is the portion size. They were a little skimpy on the amount of noodles and chicken that came in the bowl. However, this restaurant is clean and spacious. All of the staff was friendly and very quick to serve! read more

Service was fast and friendly. Sides were old but the entrees were fresh, hot, and flavorful. I remember the rice and chow mein being better but I would rather fill up in meat than carbs. One of my entrees was made to order since it wasn't available and when I received it, there was so much sauce it leaked through and broke the paper plate. I don't think I've been at a Panda Express in over 25 years. I was in Huntersville and needed something quick. There were some other restaurants (Thai and Chinese ) that were close but I didnt have the time. I got chicken and mushrooms and kung pao with mixed vegetables. The kung pao was nice and spicy. The chicken and mushrooms were kinda bland. The mixed vegetables were pretty good . It served its purpose decent food in a quick manner. Next time I'd make more time for the Asian restaurants around Birkdale. read more

This Panda is not good. No organization, all of the entree options were out, waited over 20 minutes while they prepared 12 online orders in front of a family of four, myself, and eventually three other people that walked in. Absolutely terrible service and a horrible job keeping the entree bowls full. I do not recommend this location to anyone. read more

While Panda Express has been a favorite of mine since moving to Charlotte, the Huntersville location is pretty much hit or miss. I have to say that they have been mostly Miss for the past 6 months or so. They are often out of Teriyaki chicken which is like McDonalds being out of fries. Although my biggest complaint is the consistency of the food. I drive 20 minutes and find that all of the food has a burnt taste to it. It's often inedible. This last trip will be my last. I will try the Charlotte location on occasion, but the simple inconsistency of the quality of food makes it not worth my money or time to make the trip. read more

Tried again after several rings a young girl answered, I explained what was missing, no apology, only offered to take off bill or come pick it up? I asked why would I now drive there to pick it up after I just had Uber eats deliver it? I told her the way she is handling this is improper not even an apology? She said I did apologize and it wasn't me that bagged your order I just got here 10 minutes ago!!?? I told her to reimburse me. This local restaurant serves your food buffet style so you don't have to wait to eat. I sampled the Golden Treasure Shrimp and it's a good thing I did. It was overcooked so I ended up with orange chicken and fried rice. It was nothing special. I will say the spring and egg rolls looked tasty but I did not bite. Nothing else looked appetizing. Perhaps this is because it was after the lunch hour (2 PM) and the food may have been sitting for a while...I don't know. In any case, I will not be back to visit this establishment. read more

I had never tried Panda Express due to my own personal skepticism. When a coworker mentioned that it was good, I decided to give it a try. She was not wrong. It is surprisingly good! So good, in fact, that I have eaten here several times since my last check in. I take lunch later than most people (2pm) so I have not experienced any problem with getting what I want. The Chow Mein noodles are consistently fresh. The Orange Chicken is always flavorful, the Beijing Beef satisfies my need for fried meat, and the fried shrimps are always big enough to satisfy my appetite. I have to admit, I have only tried the fried meats, and I am happy to keep it that way. Give it a shot. It is A-Ok. read more

Bases on food and food alone this location is good however, their customer service is lacking. I came in and they didn't have spring rolls, teriyaki sauce (for the teriyaki chicken) or sweet tea. The worker said they were out of sugar. For the management that reads this I'd advise you tell the employees to inform customers what you're out of before they order. Could be good if they cared. I really want to like this place but they just don't care. Every time I have been in they are out of at least 3-4 entrees. Today, more than half of their entrees were missing and they only had fried rice left for a side (except for a few chow mein noodles). They weren't even close to busy either. I should have walked out then and never came back but I ordered an entree I didn't want and a side I didn't want because I was hungry and needed to get back to work. They gave me a lot of the side I didn't want but only a few pieces of meat for my entree like they were afraid they would run out of that too. They have replied on Yelp saying they will look into this problem but obviously nothing has changed. The entire 35 minutes I was there not a single table that been wiped down nor any trash can emptied. I think for chain restaurants it's all about quality of the service and the cleanliness of the physical premises that distinguish one location from another as the food is almost the same at every location. This used to be really clean and service used to be quick and easy the last time I ate here. This time though it was way below the mark. Short staffed to serve customers, water fountain broken, untidy dirty tables and no soap in the bathroom. Service was wayward, had to wait and remind the server for a side item I had paid for that they were supposed to serve at the table. Food was as expected from any Panda Express though. I am not planning to visit this location anytime soon. read more
