Food is always good. Chelsi a worker is killing it. An excellent worker, knows what is going on is completing orders way faster than others

This review does not reflect on the food, but instead reflects on the service: My family ordered pizza to their house the same time we entered the drive through. They were able to get their pizza and start eating it before we ever left the drive through. We waited over 20 min with no explanation from the staff about why it was taking so long, and there was no apology or consolation for it when we reached the window either. This has happened more than once. I wish the service was much better at this location because I really do like the food. read more

I'm usually happy with my food here, even if I do have to wait I long time at the drive thru. I went to grab a 2 side plate (Orange Chicken & Mushroom Chicken with fried rice and noodles), but my plate looked liked half empty when I got home to eat it and it was missing the fried rice. I had ordered my food at around 1pm, so I thought it would've been hot and fresh but it wasn't. I may never come back, so frustrating! read more

I swear every time i come to this location they start off by saying everything they do not have. Ive lived in heights a long time and they've done this before covid. They are always rude and i never get a fork, chop sticks, napkins, nothing. Orange chicken was completely over cooked. And this is how 2/3 of my rangoons came, the other piece of it wasn't in the bag either. I never write reviews but i never have a good experience here lol at this point it's my fault for always wasting my time, i just need to stop coming here read more

Portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller and the rice is too bland. When I asked for salt and pepper they said "We don't serve salt and pepper here" really!!!!! Will not be coming back here with so many other good Asian places to eat in Killeen. read more

we went through drive through whoever took our order had an attitude from the start. then proceeded to ask for our order back after giving it to us because they "forgot to put something in one of the plates" all 3 girls at the window were rude and then continued to slam the window in our face. customer service 0/10. read more

Sat in drive thru for 10 minutes and I ordered orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. The drive thru employee informed me that it would be a 15-20 minute wait for orange chicken and I agreed to wait. I was the first car waiting for food. After 20 Minutes the car next to me who was behind me received her order. I asked the employee the status of my order. She came back and said the order was never made. Then she comes back again and said there was no honey walnut shrimp (which is not what I was originally waiting for). So after 30 minutes I had no food and a bunch of time wasted for nothing. Her excuse was that the drive thru employee was new. Didn't own up to it and placed blame. I was not happy with the service here. I will not be going back. read more

If you plan on going to the Panda Express in Harker Heights before they close you better get there before they try to lock the doors on you The hour on the restaurant says 9:30 pm, they will lock the doors between 9:05 & 9:15 and watch customers walk up and try to open the doors. I was inside the restaurant when I overheard one of the employee asked the other employee why she was locking the doors so early, her reply to him was that the night manager gave her the keys and told her to lock the doors early. I was wondering when the rules changed with the posting of the opening and closing of businesses but I guess there are no rules when they can use the Covid to do what they want. read more

Consistently the worst restaurant in Harker Heights after 8:30p. Tonight I was greeted by Shea. She joyfully informed me everything on the menu was made to order and it would take 20-30 mins to prepare. When I said that would be okay, she instantly got disappointed. Everything I asked for from food, to sides, and even tea was met with "20-30 minutes, are you still going to wait". I finally asked would I be compensated for my wait and her response was no, sorry...are you still going to wait? I said no and her reply was awww sorry...have a good night. I normally go inside and order, but today I went thru the drive thru. The lady at the window was very rude. Gave me a dirty look cause I didn't order two large cokes, the guy that took the order was going to fast I didn't realize he said cokes. But that doesn't give y'all the right to a attitude. My Toné was soft and not rude but that was very unprofessional. I think I will have to go to Cove instead of Harker Heights.. read more

We just gave this Panda Express another try last weekend. I was really unsatisfied ... again. I had lo mein with two sides, broccoli and beef was one of them. We went through the drive through and when we unpacked our food at home I saw that there was literally no beef!! Just dry broccoli. I was super disappointed because also my lo mei noodles was more like vegetables with 5 noodles in it. No bueno ! read more

My husband and I both Tried calling this location multiple times to check the menu availability before coming to the drive thru. No one answered the phone. I'm highly disappointed to say the least. This place is a hit or miss I guess just depending on when you go. The one in temple is always disappointing, so I started coming to this one when I'm in the area. When I went a couple weeks ago, the food was great. Everything was hot and fresh, the chicken was crispy, and there was plenty of sauce. But when I went today, it was absolutely awful. The chicken was only somewhat warm, pretty soggy like it had been sitting out all day, and half of what they gave me didn't even have any sauce on it, so it was inedible. What was really messed up though was when the woman getting my food purposely scooped out the chicken that didn't have sauce. There wasn't a lot left in the bowl, but the chicken on one side of the bowl had a lot more sauce than on the other side. The side with more sauce was the side closest to her, so all she had to do was scoop it out. But she turned the bowl around to get the chicken without sauce. It doesn't count as orange chicken if there isn't orange sauce on it. So I couldn't eat half of what I paid for. Also didn't give me any fortune cookies. And to top it off, I had to listen to the panda employees at the next table over complaining pretty loudly about coworkers or the boss or someone while I was trying to eat. The only reason I gave them more than one star is because the food was good last time I went. But this visit definitely deserves zero stars. read more

The drive threw was horrible! The worker couldn't get my order right after two tries I explained it clearly with the worker saying she understood clearly thence picked up the order at window and the order was wrong I had to tell the worker again at the window about what I ordered with no apologies and the closing of the service drive through window in my face. Poor service overall I believe better training is a must!!! read more

This has to be the worst Panda I've ever experienced and I've been to many. We stood at the counter for a while waiting for anybody to even acknowledge us. There was nobody else in line and MULTIPLE employees behind the counter. When we were finally greeted by an employee, it was with "what did you guys want?". Really?? We gave our first order, to which the employee turned around and started speaking with a group of other employees without saying a word to us. He didn't seem to have any intention of helping us. We gave up and went to another restaurant that was more than happy to serve us. Panda management, you need to work on this location fast. This isn't the first time we've had issues with the behavior of the employees but it's definitely the last for us. read more

This is one of my favorite places to go within the Killeen area. I've been a regular over the past couple of years and although they seem to always be busy on a Friday night with somewhat of a wait. My children and I have made it part of our weekend ritual. I've never had a bad or terrible experience here and the staff has always been attentive so I really can't relate to and was surprised to see as many negative reviews posted. The portions are respectable and my favorite entree is the Beijing beef if you haven't tried it that's my recommendation. Preparing the drive through orders does seem to take precedence over the line for dine in and that can be a little annoying especially if you see the pan of your favorite entree vanish right before your eyes and the result is a wait for more to be prepared. Kind of seems unfair but overall I've always been satisfied and I think reasonable expectations are either met or exceeded at this location. Good people doing a great job, keep up the good work. Just a little hint to up your portion when you order a "plate". Request your meal in the to go container. They say it's the same portions but I say you get a little extra that way read more

If it could be ZERO STARS RIGHT NOW IT WOULD BE! Been coming here every so often since it opened and it's usually just OK (what can you expect from a fast food Chinese Chain restaurant right?). Well, tonight they succeeded in losing my business and I guarantee I'll also be doing their survey to report what happened. It was absolute PANDAmonium in there with a line of cars in the drive thru out their parking lot and a line inside to the door. So I understand they were busy and frazzled but what I was subjected to was utter non-sense. 1st of all no welcome just stares, dagger stares (sorry you hate your job) I still smiled as I spoke up to order. They made one plate quickly, by the second plate I ordered half chow mein half vegetables. MISTAKE. The lady pulled out a big ladle of vegetables AND HAIR!!! Gross. I pointed the long blond hair out and she was grossed out. She took the scoop and dangling hair off my plate back into the bowl from which it came. Eww. She said sorry and tried to proceed??? Really? She I'm sure saw the look of shock and disgust on my face and took the veggies away, threw away my plate and started over. THEN mistake #3 as she tells me they're out of something and I'm choosing something else another dagger thrower makes her stop and informs the other two ladies on the line that they need to all stop everything they're doing and restock lids and bowls and plates. So now I'm expected to wait even though she's already made two/four of my plates and already has the other two plates in hand? Yes. That's exactly what they expected. And they were wrong. I walked out and told others about the nasty hair on my way out. Is there a happy ending? Sure is, but not from Panda! Wing Stop completely satisfied me with kind service and phenomenal food. Thinking about Chinese food? Go elsewhere- try Thai down the road or go for Wings! read more

This place has just gone down hill, slow and rude. It took me 21 mins to even order an get food. And once your in line there is no way out which I'm sure if there was they would lose a lot more business. They seem to not know how to multi task. For 20 mins you can hit up cheddar or cracker barrel which is in close range and have real food. And even then the people are just full of attitude and not friendly at all no sauce plastic wear napkins nothing. People want 15$ minimum wage and can't even put any pep in their step read more

I enjoy eating at Panda Express but I would have to say this is NOT authentic Chinese food. This restaurant is your ideal Americanized drive thru Chinese restaurant. Since Panda Express is a well known franchise, you expect the same taste, quality and price as all other Panda Express. The reason why I come here is because it is conveniently located, affordable and the taste is the same as the Panda Express in Hawaii so I am not disappointed. I usually get the bowl of chow mein and orange chicken for $4.99 plus a chicken egg roll. I'd rather come here to get my usual order than to go to the nearby Chinese buffet and get disappointed by their chow mein or orange chicken. This is by far my favorite Americanized Chinese restaurant and if I'm craving more authentic Chinese food than I would have Chinese food in Chinatown in Hawaii. (I have yet to try Chinese food in Chinatown in Austin.) read more

Hit up the drive thru, they ask me to park and they would have my food right out. I waited 30 minutes for orange chicken and rice. If there were a zero star option, I would have selected it. The food was not the worst "Chinese" food I've ever had, it was the worst FOOD I've ever eaten. Told her I didn't want the walnut shrimp earlier but she still gave it to me then after I paid looked at the receipt I saw the walnut shrimp that I told her I didn't want. ABSOLUTELY FUCKIN RIDICULOUS!! Ordered online, and pick up was SUPPOSED to be at 6:05pm, we basically waited a whole damn hour for our "fast" food!! Watched people walk in (not order online) and walk out in 5 minutes!! They claimed it was because they were out of certain things, such as chow main, YET all walk ins got the out of stock food. We had even agreed to different food items, and still nothing. There was no update on wait times or anything, just a "sorry for the brief wait." I don't usually make reviews unless it is utterly bad. I will be calling corporate if we do not get some form of compensation. read more

Placed an order in the drive through, one of my plates included teriyaki chicken. Was not informed that the grill was down until I reached the window. Lady working the window asked what else I would like and I had to call my friend to see what she wanted instead, (it took four seconds for her to answer and say 'Orange chicken!' ) the employee turned and said orange chicken, then another employee who was preparing the plates laughed and said "I'm not giving it to her." Other employee said "don't do that just give her the chicken.." I drove the 34 minutes back to my friends house to realize they did IN FACT give me the orange chicken. Called, was told to come back and have the order fixed. Drove the 30 minutes back. Had the manager try to defend herself (I recognized the tattoo on her arm, she was the one who said it) and insisted none of her employees would say that. Waited 15 minutes only to have JUST the missing orange chicken replaced. Food wasn't even worth the money gas or time. read more

Panda Express - Panda shame on you! - Chinese Near Me - Harker Heights, Texas

I created an account just to write this review. I seldom complain about establishments but I consistently do not get the food I want when I come here. Teriyaki chicken is always a half hour wait (or they outright refuse to make it) and there is never any white rice (even though all you need to do is put it in the cooker?) The employees give off a very careless approach when dealing with customers and just do not move with a purpose. (There is a particular lady that gives off an attitude.) Look, I wouldn't even write this if there was another Panda nearby I could go to, but here we are. Y'all are better off finding another Asian food place or even just going to Omart (5) read more

I don't know what has happened to Panda Express. Did success go to their heads.....so they figured they could just coast into the future on the reputation of the past?? When they first opened, they were awesome, so good no matter which location. For a few years their food was great and it was reasonably priced. In 2019, well before covid, they raised their prices and the quality of their food went through the floor. They also cut the size of their portions by about a third. We used to love to eat there, now it's not even on the list. Really sad to see them become 3rd rate. Such a disappointment. read more
