We stopped by to try the new Wings! We had the plain and the Sweet & Spicy! Was expecting bone in wings but they are boneless! I don't care about their boneless chicken tenders, they have too much batter! I was impressed with the boneless wings however! Just the right amount of batter and a good chunk of chicken! I made an online dine-in order and arrived about 5 minutes later. The gentleman working the register was with a customer. I stood by the online order pickup. The gentleman working the online order area didn't acknowledge me. He walked to the drinks and got a drink and placed it on the rack, still didn't acknowledge me. Then the gentleman working the register finished with the customer and I was helped. I got my food. My drink had the tape over it, my bag had the seal on it. Did you even read that it says "dine in"? Still working out the kinks 5 years later but the food is always tastier here than some other whataburgers. Well the food we got was good, but we ordered through thier app and ordered four combos an extra burger. All we got was two burgers, two fries, and four drinks, then all we got for a refund was fourteen dollars. The service for one thing, even though it was a Tuesday night. There were customers waiting for food, and waiting to order food. The drive through was even backed up. I ordered my food online, and coming from Temple I thought I would get there by 12:15-12:20 AM. We didn't get our order until about 1 AM. Plus I understand it's summer break but there were a bunch of teenagers out in the parking lot. WHAAAATTAAAAABURRRGERR!! We are so blessed to have tried Whataburger, yet alone live by it. Their Bacon cheeseburger is my go-to at Whataburger. Crispy bacon, juicy hamburger meat, crispy fries.. Literally the perfect meal anytime of the day. Luckily, they're open 24 hours! Their spicy ketchup is bomb, so make sure you ask the workers for extra. I think next time I go.. I really want to try their Jalapeno Whataburger because a lot of people rave on how good it is. I've never tried their onion rings but it's going on my list of things to try. I don't think I have ever been so insulted in my life. I stopped at this location today to have lunch with my boyfriend. I haven't always been a Whataburger fan but this location has never been an issue for me. Unfortunately, today changed that. While at the register, I'm adding a few things to my burger. My boyfriend made a comment about me building my own burger. The cashier David, made the comment "I can see why she's ordering so much. She's feeding for two." Let me reiterate that I am not pregnant nor am I anywhere near overweight. I'm extremely curvy but in a pleasant way. My stomach is not big nor do I have rolls or any indication of a round stomach. I had to take a moment to process what was just said to me. Then I tell David I am actually not pregnant. He says "oh. I didn't mean to assume." At this point, I'm already fuming. I tell David he "should probably keep your mouth shut on topics like that." My card declined so I had my boyfriend run to the car to grab my phone so I could make a transfer. While outside, David says "sorry for assuming you were pregnant" but at this point my pride is so hurt because I've worked my ass off to be the shape I am after 3 kids. I pay for my meal and originally we were going to dine in but I've got tears in my eyes. So I ask to speak to the manager. I tell him what happened and his response was so unprofessional. As a general manager myself, i would have appreciated more tact than a measly "oh, I'm sorry about that. I'll tell my general manager (as he points to the GM)" No, fuck you. Fuck your sorry. The general manager should have been notified immediately and some sort of fucking compensation should have happened. Offer a fucking Shake or maybe refund my meal or some shit. Sorry doesn't bandage my hurt feelings. I don't give a damn about free shit. I work my ass off and make a decent living so free is not what I was looking for. My issue is, this could have been someone who was on the verge of a complete fucking breakdown and that one shit comment could have pushed them over the edge. They definitely need to do some more training with their staff on how to appropriately speak to guests and how to not make assumptions. I likely won't return to this location. I'm not one write negative reviews but Something should change at this location. An occasional small mistake happens but this weekend was $70.00 and two orders wrong. We tried to get dinner and had a whole meal missing. Luckily I noticed before we left. The next morning we tried to get breakfast. I ordered two hbcb meals and two breakfast on a bun meals. I trusted it was correct and got home to find four breakfast on a bun meals. It just so frustrating to have every order wrong. Slowly succumbing to Whataburger and giving it props. The Sweet and spicy and jalapeño and cheese burger are my top picks for burger choices and the onion rings for side. The Sweet and spicy burger merged the right flavors together and big hamburger patty to boot, problem is I would seldomly order it though and not often, more of a burger that you get burnt of and only have once I full moon. The Jalapeño Cheese is my favourite the cheese disturbution is off the charts in a good way and really packs a good punch for ppl who like spicy food. Onion rings are crispy, fresh and big. Fries are ok, remind me of Wienerschnitzal fries..not bad or good just "ok". Had the honey butter chicken biscuit for breakfast and was unfortunately not as pleasing as others said it is, most been an off morning. The sweet biscuit was just enough and not over powering but the chicken wasn't as fresh and tender which made it a disappointment but being a fast food joint I know not all orders are winners. I always have a good experience when visiting this location. I almost always a drive thru customer. Only once was I disappointed and that was because I didn't understand exactly what the item I ordered was. The people at the window are always very nice and cheerful and my order has always been perfect. One time I went they the drive thru then turned around and went thru again. I'm not much of a burger person, so I usually order a mini or jr cheese burger. It has the normal meat, cheese, very small amount of veggies (if any) mustard,, ketchup, etc. But not here!! It was fabulous! I ordered the Whatabuger Jr. and they asked me if I wanted the veggies. I said yes and then asked if I could have the avocado on it. They said yes! I ordered the fries and got tea. So, now let me tell you, the burger was great!! Nice slice of tomato, plenty of lettuce, cheese and just the right amount of condiments. You could actually taste all that goodness blending together on your taste buds for all its deliciousness. The fries were fresh and not over salted. Super slow service, Got trapped in the drive thru lane for almost 25 mims when it was my turn at the window I was told something about the person ahead ordered whatachicken or something and they are made fresh so that's what took so long. I have never found a fast Whataburger - however there food is always warm, When I was pregnant all I wanted was their toast and gravy. I just wanted say how awesome of a service I was given on 12/8/19. I go inside 2 minutes after 11 am and was told that I've arrive 2 minutes to late for the egg and cheese on a bun . For most this wouldn't seem bad but for me (a person who doesn't eat meat) was not good but David the front counter attendant went above and beyond to communicate this with his GM who made sure not to turn me away and prepared the sandwich for me. Beyond disappointed with Whataburger. I visited on 7/18/16 with my kiddos for lunch and was completely grossed out by the sight of furry fries! Hair in fries is gross, and I understand accidents happen. But this wasn't the first time. The two previous times I had gotten food to go at dinner time there was also hair in the fries. Grossed me out and I threw it away at home but didn't even bother to call and complain because this location has been above and beyond great for years. Well 3 strikes your out! While dining in I notified the front cashier, she apologized and brought me a "fresh" large fry for the inconvenience and let the manager know. Well, that wasn't the end of the hair. Unfortunately my replacement also had hair in it and it was visibly FRIED to the French fries! Eww I pointed that out to management and she insisted they all wear hair nets and that it must be a problem with the plant where they make the fries. She refunded my money and wrote on a receipt to come back in for a complete meal replacement for the family. At that point I was literally sick to my stomach. I didn't even attempt to go back for over two months...tonight about 8pm 9/27/16...the young lady at the front asked me what had been wrong the last time I briefly mentioned the ordeal and asked if they had any recent complaints about hair in the fries. She said no. She put the order in but the manager would NOT come put in her code. I heard her tell her to "save" the order and receipt and she'd get to it, she was in the middle of something. The cashier apologized and we stepped aside hungry and waiting. We waited 15 minutes and the manager NEVER came out from packaging to put in our order. She didn't care at all. She stared at me several times and completely did NOT care. I told the cashier I was taking my receipts back and to let her manager know I'd never be going back and how disappointed I am with the new management.
