I think the mop water needs to be changed more often. There is always this dirty layer at the doors. The food still tastes pretty good & drive-thru service is always expedient. This is as fast food as I get! I'll be back in a pinch!

    "The Original Orange Chicken"

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I'm not one to leave a review or take food back but this has me upset. I went through the drive through and got 2 orange chicken with fried rice. When I drove home I realized I got noodles (that were hard and dry), and what I thought was other chicken. It was dry with no sauce as if it was just a chicken nugget. I called them and they were understanding, I drove back for them to remake my order, I finally got my rice and I came right when they were making a new batch of "orange chicken". Yet again it is dry as h***, again like a chicken nugget with little to no sauce (honey flavor if you tried hard to pick a flavor out). I'm just very confused on what is different with the recipes from other locations but I will never be coming back to this location. I would rather drive an hour to another location.

    me when got my food

made me wait for my food as they served people behind me the food i was waiting for and forgot about my order as i waited but the workers were considerate and did give me a free appetizer for my wait

Tried the Shanghai Angus Steak special (for a $1.25 up-charge) with mixed vegetables, only. I thought the meal was pretty good, as a whole. The steak was tender and was in a very tasty, slightly, spicy brown sauce. I would definitely have it again. The vegetables: string beans, bok choy, broccoli and carrots tasted fresh and were perfectly cooked, except for the carrots which were very hard, still, and needed to be steamed before they were wokked. This location appears to be a newer building with an abundance of parking available and a nice (natural light) bright, sit-down area. I was a bit perturbed by an errant employee who answered in a rude manner, "I have no idea..." when I asked her when the Teriyaki Chicken, which Panda Express has been advertising, is going to be available. [A very large photo advertisement of this new entree was directly next to the ordering menu on the wall). This young lady definitely needs to be taught some customer service skills and is in need of an attitude adjustment, the reason for three stars that may have been a four star review, otherwise.

Panda is panda. And this place is reliably panda. My only beef with panda As a chain is that they don't serve hot tea! Panda is a really nice place to come when you are away from home and looking for Asian food.

Fast food Chinese style. Well, sort of Chinese. I guess if you need to eat fast food this is probably healthier than McDonald's. As long as you don't get the orange chicken. Lots and lots of calories.

Loose crab Rangoon, just tossed in the bag.

Don't use the drive through. Every time u go through the drive through they mess something up. Today I ordered a side of fried rice along with my main meal. When I got home I found I didn't have the side of fried rice! Instead, laying loose in the bottom of the bag were 3 crab Rangoons lol they couldn't even be bothered to put those in a container? If you're going to mess up an order at least do it right! Not to mention it was empty there, I was the only one in the parking lot!

The worst mushy flavorless fried rice. A disappointing order. The mushroom chicken was undercooked too.

Food is almost always good, BUT they are consistently out of sodas. This is the easiest thing to get right. Very frustrating.

They messed up our order but they were very quick and kind at fixing it! Way better than any other fast food places in the area.

There is so much to choose from, including chicken items, rice items, noodle items and much more. The workers are kind and polite and keep an eye on the buffet to make sure it is stocked. This is not a small buffet, there is plenty to choose from. After your meal there are several flavours of ice cream to choose from. Definitely worth the money because there is so much variety. The quality of the food is great too.

The place was clean and the staff was friendly, especially the cashier...of course knowing what they were dishing out her friendliness might have been the fake kind, like you might expect from a hospice nurse. We did not do the 'hot pot', just the buffet. Perhaps that accounts for other reviews giving more than one star. The first warning sign was all the chafing dishes at the buffet, except for the deep fried items, were nearly empty...with just a mouthful more than a single scoop in each. Of the nine items making it to my first and only plate...three were spitbacks and five were one-bite-and-dones...only the egg roll, which was almost certainly the boxed sysco frozen variety, got finished. They missed on most every basic expectation (even one already lowered for buffets). Tepid, not hot. Greasy. Obviously reheated. Overcooked. Oversalted. Change your frying oil. Every item had at least two of these fatal flaws. Every single one. My dining companion asked rhetorically, "how can you f@$k up a crab rangoon"? Well....see above. This was A PROFOUNDLY bad PTSD-inducing experience. And not cheap either. Cost cutting at the expense of the patron at every opportunity. In conclusion, it WILL make a turd, if you can keep it down. (It's nearly a turd already). A REALLY mean person might suggest that this buffet was so awful it could make a person change their opinion about American immigration policies. Act of war bad... I'm not THAT mean, but if after all my negative comments you still feel compelled to try this place, at least call ahead and ask which day they cook items fresh. Hint, it isn't on Wednesdays... The Mayor of Germantown should get a call. That bad.

Chinatown Kitchen - Shrimp egg roll

Nine years ago I had a rough experience with Chinatown Kitchen that made me not want to stop ever…read moreagain. A recent lack of other options, however, forced me to give them a second chance. I ordered a pint of pork fried rice with no onion, one shrimp egg roll, and one pork egg roll. The filling in the pork egg roll slightly reminded me of what you'd find in an egg roll from a grocery store freezer, but it wasn't mushy compared to the grocery store kind. I've had better pork egg rolls, but I've also had worse. The shrimp egg roll was surprisingly good. Slightly larger than the pork egg roll, there was a definite difference in terms of quality of the filling and it had notable pieces of shrimp. I don't know if it was cinnamon I was tasting, but there was a hint of something like cinnamon in it, which I've had before in an egg roll elsewhere and makes it stand out from the pack. I would get the shrimp egg roll again. I found it funny when I took the pork fried rice out of the bag that it said "no veg" on the box, which meant onion was the only vegetable in it to begin with. As I quickly determined, if you say no onion all you're getting is fried rice and, in this case, pork. Thankfully, there was way more pork than I was expecting and it was good quality pieces. It would have been nice to have something like carrots or peas or egg in the fried rice as well just to give it another texture without the onion, but I'd still get it again even as such.
