20 minutes so far at curbside for a large fry...still waiting. Worst experience ever....what is going on here?

You think they could cook it a little more. To late at night to drive back to complain. read more

I don't care what time I order food, because if they are still open I would expect fresh food. I purchased my food at 10 pm, this is an hour before they close. So what if I ordered a fish sandwich, I am the PAYING CUSTOMER, I can order what I WANT. The sandwich was crusty hard around the edges and I absolutely know for a fact that it was not made fresh or even close to being made fresh. I know what a fresh fish sandwich is supposed to taste like. I couldn't eat it, and tbh it was so bad I wouldn't even give it to my dog to eat! For the simple fact that I have no clue how long that thing had been sitting on their food shelf under the heat lamp. Disgusting. This is disturbing in every sense because I also know that restaurants (especially McDonald's because my sister worked there in the past) have time limits on how long prepared food can sit before having to be THROWN AWAY. And I can only assume that this sandwich was well past that time limit and SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOSSED OUT. I hope I don't get sick from eating the two bites that it did take. I should have known better, this location is not well managed and food is always mediocre. However, I will add that the rest of my order was ok. And the employees were super nice and greeted me with a smile. That's why I gave them 3 stars. read more

Slowest rudest McDonald's anywhere! Waited 25 minutes for our food. We did not receive cup lids so went back to ask. Waited another 5 minutes without even being acknowledged! Gave up. My husband asked for manager one was doing drive through and told my husband they were very busy and were doing their best....All we needed were lids! We were also told 2 managers were in the back! It was 1230! Lunch rush come on! 45 minute McDonald's stop! Don't go here! NO HELP!!!!! read more

Trying to be as healthy as possible while still enjoying the double cheeseburger that I love so much, I ordered a plain double cheeseburger with no bun to help cut carbs. Their first attempt was handing me a double cheeseburger with no bun that wasn't plain, so it still had all of the toppings on top of it. Their second attempt was putting two plain pieces of meat in the container with no toppings and no cheese, which was incorrect because I ordered a double cheeseburger and not a double hamburger. Their third attempt was a container with two pieces of meat and one piece of cheese, which was still wrong because a double cheeseburger has two pieces of cheese while a McDouble only has one piece. It took four attempts to get a plain double cheeseburger with no bun. I worked at McDonald's for 5 years in high school and college and any one of my managers would have lost their cool after the first mistake. Four attempts at putting two pieces of meat and two pieces of cheese in a container is ridiculous. read more

I drove to this McDonald's after spending the night with friends, looking for something salty and something sweet. While in the drive through I noticed there was a specialty for the season.. grinch fries! I'm a fan of pickles, and ofc fries, so I thought I would give this a shot. It should be noted while in the drive through, the line took quite a long time. A few cars even left before getting their food. But not me. I was determined to try these grinch fries. Employees were cordial and treated me well. Price was fair for a small fry, medium grinch fry and a hot fudge Sunday. Once receiving my food, I dove into one packet of fries, nice and salty. I dove into the second packet of fries, also- nice and salty. Hmm I thought to myself, probably should try a couple more. I. Was. Skunked. Both fries are the same! After I arrived home, it turn out.. you are given a packed of grinch salt. Silly me. Ofc both fries tasted the same. With this new information it is slightly difficult to disperse the grinch salt on the fries. And the flavor was lacking a bit of acidity, and that flavorful pickle taste. I would give the salt a 2/5, dill pickle lovers, don't fall for this trap. Or do, and let me know your thoughts! Additionally, the fries were not packaged in the lovely grinch parcel given in the bag. I guess I'll keep it as a souvenir instead. On the bright side, the Sunday was lovely. There was bit much fudge at the bottom, and quite little at the top. But to each their own. I will give this restaurant a 3/5, taking into account the no grinch fries and wait. Thank you Germantown McDonald's for this adventure! read more

This cash less thing is stupid , they will not come over to the counter to take a cash order they leave you standing there for 5-10 minutes then come over and be pissed that they have to help you. Just tell me this is your new model for purchasing and I will leave you alone. ( I mean by never coming back) Not everyone wants to use a card. And on a lighter note the big arch is NOT as good as the grand mac read more

1 One star is better than they deserve! Worse McDonalds I have ever been to. Most unfriendly and incompetent staff I have interacted with. I told the young lady at the window that my order was wrong and did not understand so she turned to her manager and the only thing she could say is... That is what you ordered, over and over again. It was like the Matrix broke. Probably a tactic as most people are in a rush are like whatever have a nice day and move on. Note: The screen in the drive through had the correct order, I just did not get the correct order. I simply stated thank you and have a nice day. It is McDonalds and my standards are not super high of course, but come on. read more

Friendly staff for the most part, they do tend to forget parts of the orders frequently. The kids play area needs to be monitored more as far as keeping the play area clean. They never seem to have the sanitizing wipes filled and the tunnels can get quite dirty. read more

This place used to be one of the better McDonalds in the Germantown area but it has gone to shit. This places service had some great quality but i shouldn't be sitting in my car for 20 minutes all for an ice cream cone and a cheeseburger. read more

Amazing restaurant been here many times and always come back staff nice and good food nice play place and I love it definitely coming back!

Employee talking my order was taking a personal call with someone talking about a car meet while taking my order, I sat at the food receiving window for 13 minutes before my 2 sandwiches came out my fries were cold and my request of no pickles was ignored (it says no pickle on the receipt but there were some on my Sammy) read more

I mean it's McDonalds right, I'm not expecting 5 star dining. I do however hope to get what I ordered and to have my order taken and not asked to wait-mid order- so the cashier could take a call from her cell phone. Seriously?!?!? I mean the food tasted like it should (even though it was wrong), the place was clean and the food was hot, so that's what bumped it up to 2 stars. read more

7 minutes in the drive through to get my Hot Fudge Soup-cause that's what happens after sitting that long. The car in front of me had a bigger order, but apparently they would not have them pull up to free up the rest of the line of cars. read more

lady at drive through was very rude to my mother. she said "please stay by the window" in a very rude voice and was being very mean. my moms burger was also looking like it was beat up and it was completely smooshed. the overall vibe was creepy and the workers were just rude. only good thing was the lady who took our order and the fries being fresh, but they had no salt! 1 STAR read more

Stopped there on a Sunday night , 11:30 pm. They were shut down, no signs why they were closed. People inside just watching people at the drive through. Not a way to run a business. read more

Normally, I wouldn't review a McDonalds but when you are open late on Christmas day you deserve a good review on that alone. I wasn't thinking when I decided to skip airport food and decided to "pick something up on the way home from the airport". Once I got to my car and started driving home, I realized, "oh crap! nothing is open". I started driving home and saw glowing Golden Arches from about a mile away. I decided to risk it because I mean the worst comes to worst is they are closed but I was hoping for a Christmas miracle. They were open! The line was long but moved quickly. My food was hot and tasted like McDonalds (so I mean not terrible but not an upscale dining burger). Anyway, they deserve all the love because they fed me on Christmas when they could have been home in the warmth with their family with the last few hours of their Christmas. read more

I am so over going to any McDonald's and the ice cream machine down. McDonald's needs to seriously calculate how much money they're losing on their ice cream machine is never working. I'm here about once a month with my kids - usually in drive thru but occasionally inside the restaurant. Formerly went to this location more often but this one has issues. Older style McD in need of remodeling. Last summer a drive thru order - we received a partially eaten hamburger - manager gave us a new one and refunded our money; but because of this my kids and I no longer desire to eat at this location. This has happened to other people we know. Other times orders have been incorrect, food served at too low a temperature, or food appears to have been handled roughly (fingerprints on hamburger buns) or not assembled with care. All in all, this is probably par for the McD experience, but I prefer to go to other McD's with better quality food. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is terrible and lazy. They close before the stated time because "they don't want to work".

Most AWFUL SERVICE!!! NEVER go late at night as NO ONE mans the drive thru. Waited over 20 minutes between two cars to order. Finally car behind us backed out so we could leave. Called direct McDonald's number and asked what was the issue. They state "people were at the drive thru?" Then went on to say "Third shift only has two people working doing everything...." I hung up and went to Burger King.. read more

It's McDonalds, the food is consistent but a few years ago, they had some older ladies working every morning who were super sweet - the kind of services that makes for a great start to the day. Since MCTS has started bussing people in from the city who seem to work at all the local fast food joints, the service has been about as good as a sharp stick in the eye. It's terribly rare I'm ever here and one of the main reasons is to stay away from people with attitude who make it clear they don't want to do the read more

How can they always mess up. We waited 30 MINUTES when it wasn't even busy to get our food. We waited 15min in the reserved drive thru spot, went back thru the drive thru and they didn't even have our food or an order for us? Even after speaking to the manager it took forever. This place needs to get it together. I could hear the grill person screaming at the people at the window cuz they were trying to get us our food read more

My friend and I decided to go to the lovely McDonald's for a late night bite. When we got to the drive thru I asked for a few items along with a chocolate shake. It didn't show up on the screen, and when she asked if everything looked correct the shake wasn't on there. Pulled up to the window, and got everything but the shake. I politely told her we were missing the shake. She gave me the death stare, and gave me unnecessary attitude even though I was polite about it. Don't go to this McDonald's at night. It was just disrespectful. read more

Smoothie and a coffee everything was fast and correct ... it was during lunch no hold-up. Location is close to freeway.

So much for 24/7. Taco Bell is my normal go to for late night food, but when they don't deliver, I go to the only other option. Turns out, McDonalds actually isn't a late night option. One time is one thing, but multiple times is a problem and now I'm going to bed pissed off cuz I'm starving, work strange hours, and know this shouldn't happen read more

They could not be slower if the tried. Cold fries. Unpleasant workers. 30 minutes in a drive through.

Went to McDonald's in Germantown hwy Q to grab a convenient and quick breakfast at 10:45am on Sunday 12-18. After placing my order at the drive thru, we waited for over 5 mins not moving, not even getting to the first window to pay. Visited the drive Thru at this McDonald's on Sunday March 29 at approximately four o'clock. To say the service was absolutely terrible would be an understatement. Waited in the drive thru lane for quite sometime. Finally, I left the line to go inside to voice me displeasure with the manager. It was very apparent she was overwhelmed with the situation and made various excuses why the service was horrific. This place really needs to get some new management.
