I've been to quite a few different Panda Expresses and they've all been pretty good and this one's no exception. With that said this particular location went a little over and Beyond to make the portions for my family meal fresh which made me happy and because I had to wait I was offered a free small drink which also made me happy. It's hard to find good customer service and quality control but this particular Panda Express managed to. if you've never eaten at Panda Express I recommend the orange chicken because that's my favorite and go to for most occasions. but I can honestly say that I've never had anything at Panda Express that I did not like. read more

Really not happy with this location. Idk if panda changed the noodles as a whole, or if it's just this location but the noodles are terrible. (To me). We have to wait longer than usual. The few times we have been in there the workers have been less than friendly and made us feel like we were in inconvenience to them. The girls serving expect that you know what you are doing and how to order and have an impatient look on their face. The food was OK at best, and highly overpriced for what you are served. This Panda Express is hardly ever busy making it and quick and easy meal to have. My favorite is the orange chicken which is nice and tangy. The fried rice is also always a go to for me. Recently I tried the angus beef steak. I was excited to try this, it looks so good but I ended up being very disappointed. It barely came with any steak and they were such small pieces. You would expect more from an item thats a little extra than the rest. The meat tastes overcooked and was hard to chew I never even finished it. Plus it was basically all vegetable. PE in Forney is never busy. It's always easy to get in and out quickly. The staff is always nice and patient. They are also helpful to first timers who can't decide or have general questions about the menu. Shhh it's a secret! If you order a kids meal, you will get a lot of food for a low price. Food Review: Cream Cheese Ragoons - crispy and creamy, they are OK. I prefer Crab Wontons from Pei Wei Egg Rolls - crunchy outside really good vegetable filling. They give Jack In The Box a run for their money Spring Rolls - light and crunchy. They are good Walnut Shrimp - odd combination but delicious. The sauce is really good and the serving had just the right amount of walnuts and shrimp to give that sweet savory tastebud a wake up call. PE is OK. Most of my reviews are positive and I love giving credit to the good places. It's not easy for me to write a bad review, but I have to let others know about this particular Panda Express location. We used to bring my daughter and a few friends here for a quick after-school snack. There is several other quick places nearby - Wendy's, Chick-fil-a, Whataburger and we'd go there too. On the back of every Panda Express receipt, there's a coupon offer to receive a free entrée with the purchase of a two entrée plate if you go to their website and provide a survey. Many other places also do this & we take advantage of their offers and provide information back to the company in exchange. At this Panda Express location, even though the coupons come from this location, they do not accept them. They find any reason possible not to honor them - reasons such as not allowed for drive-thru orders, to its "not a valid redemption code" (said without blinking an eye too). In the last two times of trying to redeem these, we've asked to speak to the manager and they say the manager is not here. In our last order, we ordered $43.08 worth of food, ordered thru their website and specified that it was "to-go" and we'd pick it up. We were told again then that we couldn't use a coupon if we'd ordered online. We asked for the manager, and no manager there of course. The register did get someone else to speak with me and then she said they don't do coupons for "to-go" orders anyway. We had them cancel this order and we went to Chick-fil-a next door instead. In frustration, I called their corporate office to let them know what was happening at this store. They offered an apology but nothing else. They stated that this is NOT the company policy, and I told them obviously it's THIS store's policy because it they're telling me this consistently. In speaking with their corporate folks they also determined that the store did not cancel my online order and it had not been refunded to my credit card. (Their website forces one to pay for the order online rather than paying when you pick up). We won't go back to Panda Express and I encourage everyone else not to buy here either. There's several other good options close by. If want Chinese fast food, there's a Hong Kong Express 100yds away and they appreciate customers. The only way this store will learn is if we stop buying from them. read more

At this particular Panda Express, the employees seemed borderline disgruntled, or mostly just inconvenienced that I showed up for spring rolls. I was at this location around 2 PM on a slow Sunday, had 3 employees who were not especially busy, just make eye contact and turn away when I stepped under the "Order Here" sign. Eventually one of the employees came to take my order, and to her credit did say "I'm sorry". But she was in a big hurry to get rid of me and rushed the order along despite no one being behind me in line. I come here often and never had any problems.. I really didn't have any issues today either other than what I witnessed another person going through. I was in line to order my food and a lady & her daughter walked up with a kids meal, the box of food was open, the lady at the buffet ask to help them. What looks like a single mom of 3 teenagers showed the box of food (which was clearly kids portion) and said "there's usually more than this in the box" the employee explained to her several times "that's a kids portion you get half a scoop, some days you might get more some days less" the poor woman stood there, box open & out waiting for her to ask to put a few more pieces of chicken in the box for her daughter... she never did. I felt awful for her. A single mom of 3 teenagers trying to save money and take care of her kids & the employee was just not having it to have a heart or give them 2-3 more pieces of chicken from the multi million dollar companies buffet of food. She explained, "we come here all the time" in a quiet defeated voice "I guess we won't be back " I don't blame her either! Take care of your loyal customers!!! I had a difficult time choosing an entree because it was all old food mixed with newly cooked food (as they are famous for). I choose black pepper chicken because it had just come up. This location has a small selection of 'American' Chinese food. They have a lot of chicken-based foods. Orange chicken, General Tso's chicken, etc. They also have egg rolls (chicken egg rolls), fried rice and a few other items. I would say their menu is limited. Their service was good, but a tad bit slow. Not a problem for me. They have options to serve the meal alone or in a bowl with rice.
