For one the speaker sucks when you order through drive through and they had me waiting 15 minutes just to order, second I don't know how hard it is to get someone's order right, when you literally tell the order to the guys face. Look, I love Panda. My favorite are the kung poa, spicy orange chicken, and half rice half noodles. Sonia was such a delight. She helped us with bringing items to our toddler and was such a positive light in the store. It was fun to hear her being so friendly too all customers. I haven't seen anyone so happy there. I know places like this, usually get low ratings but I had a great experience! Went to the drive-thru and ordered the Kung pow chicken. $10.00. I pulled around to the window, gave the young lady my credit card, she ran it, and handed me my meal with my credit card back. Super fast! She was very friendly, and had a big smile on her face. Now for the food itself. It was just the right amount of spicy, very hot temperature wise, and tasted very good. The only thing I would say, is that Kung pow chicken, features peanuts, and they were not enough peanuts in this one. I love Asian food and for a quick lunch this did not disappoint. read more

But sitting at the window waiting for my food I saw several workers scooping white rice into other bowls. This location is dogwater. Out of chow mein and orange chicken with no fresh servings being prepared. All members of the staff definitely go to high school together - and it shows. One employee asked me if I was going to order or "just stand there". Unfortunately, we did just stand there because I wanted chow mein and orange chicken (see second sentence). Just arrived home after picking up food from the drive thru. I ordered lo mein, mushroom chicken and teriyaki chicken. The entire meal seemed as though it had been sitting around for a long time, there were no visible vegetables in the entrees and the lo mein was chewy. Adding insult to injury, the soft drink that I ordered did not have enough syrup and tasted more like soda water than Dr. Pepper. Upon speaking with the shift manager, he agreed that I should not have been served any of the items and said that he had asked his staff to remake many of the dishes that were being offered. Stopped by the drive through after a very long day. 9ish pm on a Friday night, to further paint the picture. I ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken, with fried rice as the side. No drink. They gave me a heads up that the shrimp would take about 3 minutes to make, which was no issue for me (I wasn't in a hurry). I pulled up, paid for my meal, then was instructed to pull into an available parking spot and they would bring me my food. I lost track of how much time I was sitting there, but after a while my food arrived. I decided to go ahead and eat there in the parking lot. I opened up my styrofoam container, and was pleased. Everything looked good for the most part; the orange chicken looked a little dark. The Honey Walnut Shrimp gets a 4/5 stars - the it was freshly made, hot, and tasty. Only downside was the walnuts were stale. The Orange chicken gets a 2.5/5. The first bite was not good - overly breaded, and Luke warm - definitely made a while ago. Lucky for me, there were only a few pieces of the chicken that were harder/older. I picked around those. The flavor was bolder than I was expecting - harsher than remember. The fried rice was a solid 3/5. There were clumps of unmixed rice, and it was pretty bland. The customer service while at the window and at my car door were fantastic. Ok, so it's Sodium Fest 2013 in this piece but it's actually pretty decent for when you want faux Chinese food. For some crazy reason I was craving the Panda the other night which is suspicious since I haven't been to a Panda Express in over six years. So I drove over to Broadway after work one night and went in. They have a drive through which I've never seen before so I thought they was cool. There were a few other tables in there and I got the same thing I've always ordered any time I've gone there--orange chicken and chow mein. I got a smaller portion of both and it was only $6 plus they have different packets of hot mustard, soy sauce and chili paste to add to my condiment stash at work! The food was decent, sodium ridden and fatty but it hit the spot when I wanted something bad for me and I was in and out within 15 minutes. The employees were nice and the restaurant was super clean so that was a bit of a surprise since the last time I went there, remembered sullen teenagers working there and the interior looked questionable. Will I be coming back on the regular? Probably not but if the craving hits again, will be rolling through the drive through to get my orange chicken on. read more

Yes, it's definitely America's version of Chinese food, but whatever - we like everything deep fried. Panda Express brings it. I like this place, and I do like that you can see for yourself that the kitchen area is clean (even from the drive through). Staff has always been friendly, and you do get an obscene amount of food for the price. A meal with one side (fried rice, noodles, etc) and two entrees is under $7. If you can polish it off in one sitting, good for you. I can't. Ooh, I also like their cream cheese rangoons. Most places serve these up as "crab wontons" or something like that, and I hate seafood. Even a tiny bit of crab grosses me out. No crab here - just wonderful cream cheese and green onions. So good. Hmm... I guess the fact that I munch those three rangoons before I dig into the meal is part of why I can never finish the meal itself... worth it. read more

My friend is an avid fan of this establishment. He is crazy about it, I somehow feel violated for the amount of food I get in proportion to the price. On the plus side, you can tell their kitchen is clean, the ingredients are fresh, and it is has not been sitting under a heat lamp all day. To me it is fake Chinese food. I need that hole in the whole - we'll talk in a foreign language and probably make fun of you, three = tree, my cousin cooked it, my brother delivered your Chinese food feeling. Every time I go there they ask for donations, which is cool. When I'm paying with a card they ask once. If I'm paying with cash they ask multiple times. They are for sure pocketing the money. Paid for my meal at the drive-thru window and was told to pull into one of the parking spaces, as they were working on cooking some orange chicken. Fast forward 20 minutes later, the entire parking lot is full of cars waiting for their food, ordered from the drive thru. I waited 30 min after I paid for my food at the window, until they brought the food out to the car. I have never experienced anything like this at a Panda Express. There's no telling how long the other customers had to wait. I could have had quicker and more convenient service at a dine-in Chinese restaurant. I came to this location on a Saturday afternoon and utilized the drive through during COVID-19. I will start by saying we both eat Panda Express regularly but have not been to this location before. When we pulled up, my boyfriend and I let the cashier know we had 2 orders. I read off the first order. They asked, is this on one check? I said yes, those items are on one check, and my second order is as follows. My boyfriend gave them his order. They asked again, is this on one check? He replied yes those items are on one check. We got to the window, and all items had been charged as one order. When we said the orders were meant to be separate, the woman at the window replied "OK well I asked you twice and my cashier has already tendered your cash." I work in restaurant service as well and at no point would this response have been OK with my superiors. A more appropriate response would have been apologizing for the miscommunication instead of blaming it squarely on us. I wouldn't have even bothered to write this review were it not for the subpar food. We each got a bowl and 1 order of egg rolls and 1 order of rangoons. There were very small servings of meat in our bowls. The fried rice was not cooked through and was underseasoned, and the sweet and sour tasted off. Panda Express has been my go to comfort food for years. During the height of the pandamic we ordered from PE often. Lately though the delivery comes from the restaurant miles away on Broadway rather than one much close to us. The food now comes dry and cold. Last night the chow mein in addition to being cold had ZERO vegetables in it. It tasted like leftovers from the day before. The orange chicken was just ok as were the Beijing beef and the beef and broccoli. All in all a disappointment and we won't order from them again. read more
