Typical Panda food if you've eaten here before. One of the problems you'll have at DIA is it's always busy with a line of people who do NOT know what they're doing. They don't offer the single serving "bowl" here also. Two or Three entrees plus side are your only two choices. If you know what to order and how to order, it's a lot easier. Those of you reading this who aren't aware of the ordering procedure it's actually quite easy. Chose one side from three options (Veggies or Rice or Noodles). Then choose two or three entrees. Calories vary greatly. Other than the Orange Chicken, all the chicken dishes have fairly low calories. If you do Side: Veggies (70 cal) plus Two Entrees, Pepper Chicken (280 Cal) + Kung Pao Chicken (300 Cal) for a total of 650 Calories. That's not too bad for a dinner if you have an iced tea or water with it. However! Say you get the Side of Rice (520 Cal) with Orange Chicken (420 Cal) and Beijing Beef (690 Cal)... Grand total = 1,640 Calories!! Be Careful!! Employees? Meh. Dining room? Next door shared with others in the food court. Not great. Loud. read more

COCKROACH. Quickly read the reviews before writing this and read "food poisoning" and that makes sense. I was about to pay and I pointed out that there was a bug to the cashier, she asked where and was not in much of a rush since she seemed grossed out. It went from the cash register to the packs of their sauces. As she tried to grab it, it fell between the lids of the drinks. Then as she tried to grab it, the lids fell on the ice area. She threw away the roach with a napkin, grabbed the lids back and placed them back to the stacked pile. That's about four contaminated locations that I saw this bug in but who knows what other items and foods it had touched. She didn't even clean these area or anything. Her coworkers giggled on the side as she struggled to catch it. This sounds like a typical day for them. Absolutely disgusting. You should not be in business if this is the gross environment you work and SERVE the airport. read more

I don't think anyone would call Panda Express "gourmet" chinese food. I therefore wouldn't expect anyone to judge it as such. As a chain, they've perfected mediocre "asian-ish" cuisine that fits neatly in a foam take out box for less than $10. Compared to the rest of the options in the DIA main terminal, Panda Express was my go-to option for quick take out grub after landing for consumption in the taxi ride back to civilization. read more

Dig this place so much that we had it TWICE! To and from flying to Cali. In Terminal A, this place is as good as it gets for fast grubs. (Your other choice is Mickey D's--I won't set foot in there). NO lines--very expedited service. No non-sense place: you get a plate, chose rice or noodles, then choose 2 (or 3) side items. Actually, side items are where it's at, so I gave the rice to the bf. ;) Def get cream cheese RANGOONS--gawd, can't get enough of those. Orange chicken was also yummy--lathered in sweet sauce like sesame chicken. Eggrolls = eh, I've had better. Ooh, now they also carry Izze soda in Blackberry--a delightful, guilt-free way to wash down those scrumptious rangoons. Did you know that Izze uses no sugar except what's there in the fuit juices? Airport food is like mall food: often an over-priced indigestion with scarce veg. or gluten-free options. Gross location for Panda Express. Their orange chicken was oddly white cracked on the outside like it was old. And the servers were very unkind to an elderly couple asking for a bowl. The server told them, "mam we don't have bowls so don't ever ask for them". How are we supposed to know, put up a sign if you don't want to hear customers ask for bowls. Listen to me DO NOT GO HERE. Why the one star? Any Chinese restaurant that serves what looks like vegetarian options - tofu and eggplant, veggie spring rolls, mixed veggies, fried rice - should make an effort to make those choices vegetarian. They cook all veggie options with chicken broth and don't clean the wok between dishes, which is disgusting even if you are not vegetarian. If you are vegan or vegetarian, stay away from this NASTY food court restaurant. Not that there's much else to choose from, but consider this a fair warning so you don't get sick. Denver - and Colorado in general - are moving in a progressive direction food-wise, at least in certain instances, but you wouldn't know it from the dismal, run of the mill and generally unhealthy restaurant choices in this otherwise lovely airport. read more

So you're stuck at Denver and you're wandering around for food. There sure aren't many options and paying for an expensive sit down may or may not make sense since prices are already inflated anyways with a captive audience. Stuck between the choices of McDicks, KFC, and Panda Express, I went with the Americanized Chinese food. I've got to say when I came here all the food looked like it was freshly cooked (I suppose I came right at peak lunch hour). I ordered a kung pao chicken, beijing beef, spring rolls, and fried rice. With a drink the total was about $10.00 which is absurdly expensive but hey you are at the airport. I suppose it's better than the $8.00 sad sandwiches I saw at LaGuardia. The Beijing beef was actually spot on in terms of flavor although in a real Chinese restaurant it wouldn't have been these thin strips of beef. The kung pao was alright but at least it had fresh veggies in it, definitely the quality of the chicken was.....sub par. I love spring rolls and I would have to say to definitely avoid them here, the filling was terrible. They were most definitely frozen and fried rather than being made on site. One complaint, I asked for a small soda and they gave me this behemoths 32 oz monster of a drink. Seriously? I ended up throwing away at least half of my drink after I was done eating. So rather than feeling like total crap from eating KFC or McDonalds, I would suggest opting for Panda Express if a sit down restaurant isn't for you. Yeah it's a little more expensive and it may not be a "healthy" option, but at least my stomach wasn't churning afterwards. read more

I generally love Panda Express but this airport location was a HUGE disappointment. During my layover I decided to grab some food, and I wasn't feeling your typically burger or fried chicken so I decided on Panda Express. It was pretty early in the morning, 7:34 AM to be exact, so there is no reason why they're food should taste like it's been sitting out all day. Chow Mein was EXTREMELY oily and had 0 flavor. The orange chicken had no trace of their traditional flavoring and seemed over cooked, hard and stale. Don't do it. Don't eat Panda Express in the Denver airport. Why do I even need to review this place? If you haven't eaten at Panda Express, please crawl out of your cave and climb some bamboo. It's one of those places you go to because you crave salt and fat, but not cream. It's cheap, fast, satisfying. Now, there are some quality differences between the Panda Expresses of the world. In general, you want to choose the items that look like it was just cooked. Nothing worse than a Panda Express without any customers, because that food will sit there forever. You should get the 2 or 3 entree combo...best deal. My favorite dishes: - Beef with Broccoli - Orange chicken - Cucumber chicken Where they get you is the add-ons: spring rolls, desserts, bottled drinks. It has been an unusual travel week. Between Amtrak, planes and rental cars, there has been plenty of ground covered. In my travels, I have had the opportunity to experience Panda Express at both Albuquerque and Denver airport. While this was certainly not something I planned, it seemed to be fortuitous in my review experience...and I was greatly motivated by the firecracker chicken I experienced in Albuquerque. As expressed in other reviews, it is standard Panda Express...and when the orange chicken is fresh, you cannot go wrong. At Denver's airport location, I tried the same combination of the chow mein, orange chicken and firecracker chicken. Once again, I was anticipating tangy sweet and snappy hot. As I had placed my order at 1 PM in Denver, I was anticipating hot and fresh, as the location was busy. Being handed a styrobox of food that felt hot on all points of contact, I was hopeful. I had more time in Denver, so I sat down outside the restaurant. The firecracker chicken was, once again, the hit of the meal. With red and yellow pepper, onion, chili, chicken and sauce, the only thing missing was significant spice from chili. What I anticipated as a 5 on a scale of 10 was delivered as a 2. Thank goodness for sriracha, once again. After I enjoyed the firecracker chicken, I attempted to find pleasure in the chow mein. The noodles were dry and had very little more than noodles. This was, as previously experienced, a presentation that had time to sit under the warming lights. I endured only 1 forkful and then moved on to the orange chicken. This, too, was a victim of sitting too long under the heat lamps. The breading had dried out to a crunchy consistency on most all of the presentation. The order was $1.50 more expensive in Denver, and between the orange chicken and the chow mein, this location deserves no more than 2 stars. read more

Before taking off, my gf and I got panda at this location. This one star review is more about the service and not the food. We decided to share the bigger plate (3 entrée, 1 side). At all the other pandas I've been too, they usually fill the whole large section of the container with noodles/rice. But this guy put one scoop of noodles. Leaving plenty of room. I was like wtf. Then he hands the box to his coworker. She's talking to her other coworkers and laughing up a storm. So much so that she almost puts the wrong entrée in our order. My gf had to get this ladies attention to put the correct one in. Since we got the bigger plate we had a third entree and I realize why the first guy was so skimpy on the noodles. It's cause they put the third entree in the same box. If I'm gonna pay for the same amount of food I should've just gotten the regular size. Every other panda I've been to puts the third entree in a small container. Also when we were rung up, the guy seemed offended we didn't want a drink. After sitting down, I returned to the counter and asked if he could fill my water bottle with ice water. He in turn said,"no, either buy a bottle or go to the fountain" I then had to walk to the restroom fountain where they have a bottle filler. Ugh. I hate eating in airports. The food is always way overpriced and the quality is always borderline inedible.....unless you want to pay $30 at a sit-down restaurant and have the time for it. Case in point - Panda Express. How on earth does a Chinese restaurant mess up Chow Mein? I'm pretty sure they just use regular spaghetti pasta, and not only is it bland, but also manages to have a nasty processed flavor to it. I had to add all the sauces they provided just to make it bearable. And why do they advertise serving Eggplant Tofu when they never have it? They always have 8+ meat entrees; would it kill them to provide just ONE vegetarian?? Overpriced, disgusting "Chinese" food. read more

Panda is usually one of my favorite! With the exception of this location! They rip you off on the bigger plate the portions are so small they all fit in one plate!! What happened to the extra side on the small box???? Thats false advertisement when the side shows on the menu. You're franchise why are you not the same as all others!! No problems at this Panda Express. The food is pretty good and they give you large servings for the meal deals and is probably one of the best deals you can find at an airport. This particular Panda Express is at the Denver International Airport. The staff was nice and, as mentioned, they served a good portion of food. I was appreciative of this since I was stuck at the airport for 5 hours and the meal kept me full until I was able to fly out. I'm a fan. read more

This particular Panda Express is located at Denver International Airport, not Northwest or Lodo Denver, as described. (Hey, I'm just going by the phone number on my receipt here.) And while it seems silly to do a review of Airport Food Court food, this place is always so reliable and delicious that I just have to break down and do it. Everything I've ever ordered here has been hot and freshly cooked, thrown together by efficient staff. The only problems you might encounter is that, due to the popularity of this walk-up, sometimes they run behind on resupplying the entrees and veggies. Even so, they'll mark your container for what you want and within minutes you'll have your food and be on your way. The food is great. Just don't try hauling it onto the plane, because you'll definitely want to sit at a real table to eat it. :-) read more

The food was great but the customer service was awful I was looked at like I had 3 heads when I wanted 1 entree and 2 sides and then I was charged for 2 entrees the system itself is flawed I should be able to get 2 sides and 1 entree if that's what I desire I'm a paying customer the servers probably spoke 2 words the whole time none of which I could understand and I was almost refused service when I asked for a second side food was great tho again just purely a customer service and serving system issue thank you read more
