Of the meats the least offensive was the kung pao chicken, which had zucchini in it. The Beijing beef and orange beef were both way too sweet. The line was very long at dinner time (6pm) but the staff worked efficiently and were all very friendly I don't think I'll ever eat Panda Express ever again in my life. Airport food, limited choices and you're a captive consumer once you pass security. Even fast food is twice as expensive inside the airport. I'm not a big fan of fast food but Panda seemed to be my best bet. There was a line and they were moving through the food fairly quickly; so it was being refreshed and restocked with fresh product often. You will find the only Panda Express in the airport located at Gate A (first stop after the TSA terminal). The line was very long, but it delivered on that classic Panda taste. I had the spicy orange chicken and the kung pao chicken. Both were cooked excellently and gave me the heaty kick that I craved. Service runs smooth for an airport location, tons of employees working. This place absolutely kills Big Bowl and City Wok ( and probably a few others) in pricing. I recommend stopping by for a meal if you have time to spare. read more

This is the one in the Terminal A middle area, it was busy and their prices were ok, similar to what I pay in NJ. They didn't have mushroom chicken (sign, but nothing cooked), and if trying to avoid nuts and fried food, there wasn't much else (kung pao and walnut shrimp, the fried orange chicken, chicken w/ honey sauce, and spicy beef). Orange chicken had too much soy sauce making it taste weird and wasn't crispy like it should be. Beef broccoli was ok, though. I've had better! Also, no panda reward points here. read more

I like Panda Express at airports because they don't charge exorbitant prices, and service is fairly quick. Today I ordered on the Denver Airport app, and one of the selections offered was Beyond Chicken, the plant-based option. There is an upcharge for the Beyond Chicken, which I am happy to pay. I ordered a bowl and received an order confirmation. When I went to pick up my order one of the employees told me "We don't have Beyond Chicken at this location so we'll give you regular chicken." I said I didn't eat chicken, which is why I ordered the plant-based Beyond. So she said she would give me vegetables. The vegetables were fine but I was really looking for a meal with protein. They need to update the Denver Airport app to reflect the correct menu items. I would have ordered from another restaurant had I known they didn't have Beyond Chicken here. read more

Their food quality is very consistent across all restaurants all over the country....yes, there have been 1-2 that are not great, but this particular one at the Denver airport was really good. When I got to the restaurant around 10am there was only one person in front of me and I was able to order quickly. Unfortunately they did not have the teriyaki chicken dish, which is my favorite, so I had to settle for other dishes. I got half and half (fried rice and noodles) to give my mouth a nice sensory experience....yes, at any Panda Express, you can always opt to get 1/2 and 1/2 of any of the starches as well as the steamed vegetables. Last week, I was on a 2 1/2 hour layover here at the Denver Airport. There are several choices, but I chose this one. The line was a little long, but went quickly still and was well worth the wait. Both lady and guy helpers were very nice and gave good service. Since this restaurant is in the airport, it is shared seating with all the other restaurants in the area. Decent seating, comfortable enough to finish your meal and go. They do seem to keep the front of their restaurant very clean. Their store front gives you the inviting and welcoming feelings. Now to the food! Everything looked really good! At this type of place, I always pick items that look fresh, have ample amount, if I can even still see steam coming, and when you actually see them put in a fresh bowl. So, my choice combo from here was Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef, and Chow Mein. It was all so fresh and yummy for my choices! Both main meats had little excellent spice kicks to them. They gave me enough to where I ate it all and was very full. I also did get the most humongously large drink and an order of 2 crispy spring rolls. I got scammed! When I was at Panda Express I was with my starving children after a long plane ride. We had nothing to eat so we went there. First, we ordered 1 bowl and 1 plate of food. The lady there charged us for 2 bowls, 1 plate, and 2 waters that we didn't even order. Then she said my credit card didn't work so I payed in cash. 5 minutes later I looked at my phone of what I payed for. Guess what! She said my credit card didn't work but it did. I had to pay about almost 100 dollars when it was worth like 20. The food wasn't even that good. The beef and broccoli was salty and dry, and the fried rice tasted like pure olive oil. On everything that is good and holy, NEVER EAT HERE IN LIfe!!! They serve the nastiest food I have ever consumed. They gave me Wontons with expired cheese and i felt so sick. Of course, I picked Panda Express...it's not so much authentic Chinese/Asian food..but after you had American Chinese food for a while...you would probably crave it like I do some time! Location is in A Gates for the Denver Airport. I'm only here for vacation. This location is understandably pretty busy, I had ordered 2 Bigger Plates. (1/2, B5 Beijing Beef, F4 Honey Walnut Shrimp, C3 Kung Pao Chicken) + (1/2 -chow Mein with mixed veggies, C1 Orange Chicken, CB3 Honey Sesame Chicken, cream cheese wontons) The Manager on site took order, I asked for mixed veggies & they had none but I let her know I was willing to wait. She told me just to pay now and then they would get it out as soon as it's done. When I'm about to go to cashier, a man rushed in front of me and told another older lady who was handling the food on the second end of the food display, that his plate was incorrect and there was a language barrier. He seemed frustrated and walked away. (I think that's important to capture, it's already been chaotic experience then) At this point, I go to the cashier who seemed irritated as is, and already had my order rung up. (Her name was Andrea, per the receipt. For better description in case I'm wrong with the name, she was in her early 20s, has glasses, and braces. Andrea then takes the receipt and says "no I asked her if she wanted anything else and she said no" The Manager then steps over and Andrea repeats it again in Spanish to the Manager, and at this point it's become a bigger issue than I imagined. I let them know I'll just take the order as is, because it was busy and charging me for the two other items just seemed like a hassle. Andrea makes another comment stating "it wasn't her fault." At that point I said that I understood it is busy and maybe that's why you rushed to put in my order for the plates so it's whatever. The entire time, Andrea was being very rude and never once spoke directly to me. Just comments to manager & coworkers. I stood to the side and waited for my food, as I watched the manager and 3 employees (ones I've stated previously) look over towards me, giggle, and whisper. I expect that from the employees but from the Manager is wild. Once I got my food, it was still wrong. I got fried rice instead of chow Mein and Manager did throw in a small entree.. but it's the principle at this point. I wasn't going to do a review but seeing as this is an ongoing issue with this location, it only seemed fitting. Food was fine, they didn't have everything that is labeled out on the line. Seems to be a common thing here, again looking at reviews. Service was terrible. Really bad way to represent not only Panda Express but the impression of how Colorado hospitality is too. Having a 3-hour layover at Denver International Airport, I asked myself, "What is the most filling yet affordable food around Concourse A?" Enter: the Panda Express plate. You choose 2 entrees and 1 side item for $8.30. Not a bad deal! Beware, though, certain entrees will upcharge you a buck or two! The fried rice is fair, and the Kung Pao chicken leaves something to be desired, but I love that they both contain vegetables. And although the kung pao chicken doesn't taste great, it has chili peppers cooked into the mix, providing some heat to my taste buds. The spiciness is necessary, considering your overall meal will be lukewarm. I have become a fan of the Sweetfire chicken! It doesn't offer up much meat due to the thick breading, but it tastes yummy and is easily the best part of my meal. We didn't have a long lay over in Denver so our choices were somewhat limited. It is kind of nice that they have some fast food options all grouped together so if you are in a group everyone can kind of do their own thing. My fiance and my opted for Panda Express. To their credit, service wasn't that slow. Just like any Panda Express you select from pre-cooked items and they load you up. This location probably didn't have as many options as an actual walk in restaurant, but they had all of the standard favorites you would expect to find. We each went with the 2 entree and a side. I had the fried rice, black pepper chicken and an egg roll. Overall the food wasn't as good as we were expecting. It definitely tasted like it has been sitting out for awhile. The fried rice was pretty fresh, I'm guessing that they rotate in fresh fried rice on a pretty regular basis. Overall, the price isn't too bad especially since it's in an airport. The speed that they were able to take care of us was a huge plus as well, since we didn't have a long lay over. For these two reasons I would add a plus one to my overall review score making it a 3 out of 5 stars. If the review was only based on the food, I would have given a 2 1/2 out of 5. read more
