The drive thru takes about 20-30 min every time we go. They are always busy, but I'm not sure it's that there are so many people coming as it is they're so dang slow. Even with the mobile orders, not that those speed up everyone else's orders. Based on my experience it seems they still make your food the same time as if you ordered at the store. I've said I was there 10 minutes before getting to the voice box, yet still wait at the window for an extended time for my food.

McDonald's says the size of the Filet O Fish has not changed in decades. I beg to differ. I eaten these Filet O Fish for over 30 years. Back then, the sandwich was the same size as a Quarter Pounder. Now, the Filet O Fish is the size of a White Castle Slider. Photos included. Besides the smaller size, the sandwich is not well prepared. The cheese is barely on the bun and a small sliver (see photo). Summary: If you accept Shrink-flation and are willing to pay more for much less, grab a Filet O Fish. So I accepted the wait time and drove up the window to be welcomed by a stank face from a young lady at the cashier. Workers looked upset and irritated even though it is hours from closing time. The chicken was good but the biscuits were burnt. This isn't the first time I have received rude customer service from this particular Popeyes and hopefully the workers can get their act together for the job they signed up for. Everything was delicious, and the plate was huge. I definitely felt like I got what I paid for with the meal. The only thing I didn't like was the $4 ice tea. It kind of feels like a cheap way to make the bill bigger at the end, but honestly, the food and the better service made it worth it. I received information from the DoorDash driver that he was stuck in traffic. I understood, did not have a problem with that at all as it was rush hour and people were heading home from work, this continued on for about an hour until he had to cancel my order because he was not able to get to me. I called Dions and let them know the situation. The manager informed me to place my order again and they would get it sent out right away and refund me for my previous order. I messaged the new driver, letting him know there was traffic and to maybe take a different route. Unfortunately, he did not get the message in time and ended up being stuck in the same traffic and had to do the same thing... cancel my order. I called Dions, not upset with the situation because life happens! I just wanted to make sure that I would get refunded for both orders. The manager was extremely apologetic and told me she was going to send one of her employees to personally deliver my food. I insisted that it was totally fine and she didn't have to do that but she was adamant and said they would be leaving soon! The employee arrived with my food within 15 minutes and she was so kind. I took a risk and got the ahi tuna taco, and a steak fajita taco. Both were good - but I was most impressed with the Ahi. It was better than the sushi I have had at a sushi restaurant since moving here to CO. Nice Asian sauce with sesame seeds throughout. Super good. It's light, though. It is in a butter lettuce "taco shell", but honestly I think putting it in a true corn or flour tortilla just would not mesh well. The service was very very pleasant and attentive. We even had to move a couple times because our party number kept changing, and she was as pleasant as can be. I look forward to heading back and trying something else. Co-workers tell me you really can't have a bad taco there, and I think I might challenge that notion and find out for myself! Cheers!
