After living in SF, this has become my fave Chinese food on the Central Coast. You can say Mei's, North China (probably the best) and a myriad of other locations -- they all really suck and are super inconsistent. I'll take Panda Express over Golden Gong, Golden Moon -- wish the old place across from Harry's was still in business. Owned by the Gong family back in the 80-90's. Visited panda today. Customer services was great until cashier "Angel" was ringing us up with his face mask below his nose and only partially covering his mouth. When I ask him to please cover his mouth (as there is a pandemic). He ignored me. I repeated again that I didn't feel comfortable comfortable that his face was not properly covered he said "That shit doesn't work anyway". I let him know I worked at a hospital that I had a little experience of what the Covid does to people. He repeated "that sh*t" doesn't work anyway. Once I left I let another employee know that he isn't covering his mouth. She seemed concerned and let him know. He again ignore his coworker and didn't comply with public health rules (and common sense protocols during this pandemic. Do better Angel. I think there are 600,000 dead people that would disagree with you. Management needs to educate this worker and implement some work discipline. Do better Panda. read more

Stopped in today for a quick lunch. They weren't too busy. Maybe 3 people ahead of me at the most. They barely put any entree in my bowl. Very skimpy on the meat. Then the lady serving food had to help the cashier figure out his to use the gift card. She walked over & scratched off the section to reveal the numbers to be punched in. I love panda express orange chicken. Unfortunately, there was a young Hispanic server/employee who was cleaning up the counter while I stood in front of her. It was really annoying that she didn't acknowledge me whatsoever for the first few minutes. She didn't even say hello or greet me. I asked her if she needed me to wait somewhere else. To no surprise, she had an attitude and rudely said that she would help me if I stood 10 more feet to the left of her. Because of her attitude, I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant. I bought the issue up to the manager who had just sat down to eat her meal but I wasn't too convinced that she was going to address the issue at hand. I cannot begin to tell you about the horrible experience I've had at this location. I along with six other people witnessed what was a poor attempt at service. Little food was available. There was a ten minute wait on a lot of appetizers. I was so hungry I had to settle for what came out of the kitchen. Due to the little food available. The servers were confusing the plates with the according customers. The rice and chow mein looked so poor in quality. To have paid for that horrible service and that quality of food... I really regret it but what are you going to do when your starving? I recommend you try the sharkeys next door or just avoid this location all together. This location is absolutely horrible! The customer service is subpar compared to any other Panda Express. The other week I found a piece of burned plastic in my chowmein (picture included) and the employees did absolutely nothing to make it right. I asked the manager to resolve the issue but he literally laughed and did nothing. When I asked for the district managers number he gave me her name (Christy) but refused to give me her number. I put a complaint online and asked for a call back but got nothing back. I don't think finding a piece of plastic in my food is acceptable. We were on a road trip down the 101, & ordered 3 meals through the Mobile Order option. We placed the order roughly 27 minutes before the scheduled pick up time of 7:45pm. It is now 7:56pm and it's not ready.. not quick and efficient like it should be. We could've ordered from a mom and pop shop for the same price and they would've been way quicker.. Food was delicious as usual but the lack of communication between the workers made the transaction awkward and delayed. One gal was already getting the food then the other said the food was for someone else. So she stops and puts our food under the heat lamp and starts to help the other people. If I could give it zero stars I would. I had the most horrible customer service experienced ever at this location. I ordered directly from Panda Express online home delivery which they use door dash as a delivery but i ordered direct from Panda..anyways I never received our order so I called this location which it indicated to do. The employee which answered hung up on me three times saying their phone died three times. She was so rude and disrespectful and wasn't listening to why I was calling. She kept telling me we don't do home delivery. So I decided to go straight to the location. I ended up staying for over an hour going back in forth with the Manger Gladys and with customer support thru door dash and they both kept giving me the run around and they each kept blaming each other but no one ended up giving me my food or my money back. I left with nothing but yet they still charged me for the food delivery service and tip fee. I will never order from online or this restaurant ever again. They don't seem to care about their customers. Top it off both employees who helped me where rude and one even said "Jesus Christ I just came back from my swift to help you". And is very impatient in fact last time she charged me she could not wait for me to put my stuff away and just gave my card to my son so I would hurry up. This Panda Express is like the others, the menu and food choices are very standard. I did eat here quite a bit for a while, like a couple times a week. I really like this panda express. The staff is always so friendly, patient and accommodating. They don't make you feel rushed into your order and offer a sample of the food before ordering. The food is hot and fresh, and they are very generous on the serving sizes. I usually go with the 2 entrée and rice combo and never disappointed. The walnut shrimp is delicious, and I've recently gotten hooked on the Beijing beef! It's thin, crispy and full of flavor. Also, I really enjoy the orange chicken and the fried rice is really good. It's a nice place to grab takeout and have leftovers for the next day. I know it's not the most authentic Chinese food, but they do a great job here! read more

This location has proven time and time again that customer service is truly the last priority on their list. I came in a little before 9pm to pick up a late dinner. Didn't feel like cooking so I popped in for what I thought would be a hit and run. As soon as I approached the counter, nearly ever item had a 10+ minute wait. This location closes at 9:30, it was about 8:50... I understand pre closing, but I'm sure these employees are scheduled until at LEAST 10pm for clean up. Mind you, I ordered the most common items on the menu. Beef and broccoli, orange chicken, and fried rice. Each item had a 10+ minute wait. The only item available was chow mein... now how does that work? I don't understand the purpose of this. The woman kept reassuring me that the food would be fresh and while yes, that's wonderful, but if I wanted to sit around and wait 10+ minutes for "fast food", I would've just cooked at home. There is no reason as to why you should have no food items readily available for paying customers 40 minutes prior to closing. Although irritated, I agreed to wait and the woman told the cook what she needed to fulfill my order. The cook looked overly annoyed that he had to prepare food. At that point it made me extremely uncomfortable and I walked out. This location is awful and I have hardly any intentions of returning. read more

I prefer not to review the chains unless it was really good or really bad. This one needs some serious help. The place was dirty to begin with, corporate fast food place should never be that messy, defeats the whole concept of corporate standards. They were SLOW!!! When things are getting low, fire the next batch so there is minimal waiting...that lesson is clearly still giving them trouble. Then when you wait double the time they told you, apologize or offer a free egg roll. Believe me, I'd never take it but the fact that you are acknowledging the wait is SUPER appreciated. read more

First I understand this is a chain but that being said, you expect a certain minimum standard with a chain and that was not remotely met. In fact my expectations with a chain are much more tempered, but the portions are not good for the money and the customer service is terrible. It is one of the smaller Panda Express that I have been in but the food is more than good enough. Had lunch with my kids at this panda location this past Sunday for the firs time. Food was great just like any other panda. What I did not enjoy is limited seating And staff from panda taking there break with such a busy Sunday lunch. I wish I would have taken my food Togo instead of hear them talk about how happy they where that they where on break at the time since it was so busy. They continued going on and on talking about there job and staff members and even customers. I tried ignoring there conversations however as a food and bev manager myself this kind of behavior stood out to me. Would recommend to have staff take there break during slow business hours, not same place as customers or just be aware the restaurant is full with customers before talking and talking about their job or in my ears complaining. read more
