I ordered a plate online. I got 1 scoop of white rice and 2 servings of orange chicken. Now, I've ordered on the app dozens of times, in multiple states for years and I've never had a problem. But in my visit to Bozeman I ordered and was unpleasantly surprised to find what looks like damn near 4 scoops of rice to barely 1 scoop of orange chicken. In the picture under the chicken is just loads of more rice. There's like nothing there that's barely even considered 1 serving let alone the 2 I ordered!!!I'm pissed I've never in my life had such terrible serving. It's Panda Express it's not like the chicken is prepped to perfection let's be real it's frozen meat that's just fried and layered with sauce. The food at *this* particular Panda Express has been consistently going downhill. My order is pretty basic - grilled chicken and brown rice/greens, plus a 3-pc order of crab rangoon. My last two orders have finally pushed me over the edge (so to speak). I've gotten white rice instead of brown and the crab rangoons were terribly underdone. Side note - today - 2 were undercooked and 1 was burned. How does that happen? I'm giving them 1 star since they haven't managed to poison anyone. I love Panda Express, just depends what time you go. They are sometimes out of things and you have to accept that. I'm sorry if im being harsh but this is my to go place whenever im not sure what to eat. I would recommend going here if you haven't gone. But knowing Bozeman, there could very well be more options and local restaurants you may want to try. The service there is like any other restaurant. Ate here 8/11/23. The person dishing up the orders didn't wear gloves and she would go back and forth between serving food and ringing up customers. This Panda Express is a-lot better then previous ones I've been to! We got there right at 11:00 am and everything was freshly made and hot! When there making there food right in front of you that usually means it's very fresh and they have nothing to hide about the ingredients and boxing! I really don't know why it's so badly reviewed! not only did this "fast food" restaurant have a line out one door for pickup... the real line was practically taking up the entire seating area. They're out of napkins... how does a chain this large run out of napkins? on top of this our food sat getting cold for 20 minutes after it was scooped til we payed. You'll spend more time waiting in line the you would eating at a restaurant, and then you'll get to finally eat. This Panda Express is frustrating. They always have too many online orders to quickly and adequately move people through the lobby. This results extremely long wait times. I've never waited at a Panda Express longer than this location on my different occasions. I feel they do a poor job balancing in store and online orders, and it is not due to staffing. The food is always great and the employees are always great. This is entirely a complaint regarding the way they handle online and in person orders. read more

After paying he just walked away, didn't give us any utensils or even say thank you. He actually never said a single word other than to tell me the cost. I really gotta hand it to these people, being the sole location of a popular restaurant in a pretty big city, it gets chaotic and busy and I'm sure it's not easy to handle the crowds but the way the restaurant is set up would make it seem easier to manage right? Nah. Not really I guess. The past two times we ordered from here was on Uber Eats and something big was always missing, as in a whole plate or our drinks. So we decided to just go ourselves and get it. Did that solve the problem? Nah. Two entire bowls were missing once we got home. You need to watch them like a hawk apparently and make sure they put all your food in your bag or else it will just not be there. It was so upsetting. Had to give my kids my food so my husband wouldn't have to drive the whole 20 mins there and back on a busy Friday. What little I did eat made me sick to my stomach the entire evening. I've just had food delivered, I ordered fried rice and honey chicken. The food is bad, my first impresion was "where is the flavor?" Where is the taste of sesame oil and mirin wine that a real chinese fried rice is supposed to have? The chicken was so spicy even though is not advertised as spicy. I always have a good experience at this Panda Express. Even when the line is long, the service is quick and efficient. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic, and they are helpful when describing some of the newer entree options. I have been in there early when they are just open and the staff was kind enough to make some entrees that I didn't see out yet, and I didn't have to wait too long. I have also been in an hour before closing, and the store was still clean and the staff was willing to ensure all my food was fresh and still as tasty as the first batch. I especially love the outdoor seating area, as I would bring my dog here in the summer and eat outside. read more
