I placed an order through the Panda Express app and was charged, but I never received my food. I tried calling the store multiple times, and no one answered. Since I couldn't get any information, I drove to the store in person to find out what happened to my order. Unfortunately, the staff could not tell me where my order was, what happened to it, or provide any immediate solution. Eventually, I was told that a refund would be issued. While I appreciate receiving my money back, that does not change the fact that I spent my time, gas, and effort driving to the store, only to leave without the meal I paid for. What concerns me most is not that a mistake happened--mistakes can happen anywhere. The real issue was the complete lack of communication and accountability. The order disappeared, no one answered the phone, and the store was unable to explain what happened or offer a meaningful solution when I arrived. Customers should be able to expect better when ordering directly through a company's official app. I hope management reviews the processes at this location so other customers do not have the same experience. read more

I was honestly shocked to see so many bad reviews for this location because our experience was great. When we walked in, the tables were actively being cleaned, the staff was straightforward but friendly, and the food all looked really fresh. The orange chicken looked heavenly. A few entrees weren't ready yet, and I wanted the mushroom chicken, but they were super attentive and packed everything up as soon as it came out. By the time out we got our food, it was still really hot and fresh. The bathroom was clean, utensils and straws were fully stocked, and overall everything just seemed organized and taken care of. I really didn't have any complaints. My biggest complaint honestly is that Panda Express doesn't give out free samples anymore, which feels like a crime. read more

Just got Panda to go and it was great! I ordered online, the website was super easy to use, and when I showed up five minutes early my food was already ready, which was so nice. Service was quick and polite, especially considering how busy it gets during lunch. It's a classic chain restaurant, but they have a good variety of protein options. I got the orange chicken and beef and broccoli with half white rice and half chow mein. I always love their orange chicken, and the beef was very tender. The broccoli was a little undercooked today, but that's not usually the case. Overall, it's always a solid, quick meal when you're short on time, and super filling. I could barely finish mine and will definitely eat the leftovers tonight! read more

Actually upset about this visit. Why are we serving burnt and old chow mein and charging for water cups now? Very upsetting.

foods alright but everytime im here i get sick. like... really sick. Straws are strangely tiny but whatever ig

terrible service from the manager , i can't understand when they can only give you a certain amount of sauces like it's coming out of their paycheck , wake up its a multi million dollar company and i can't get more than a few 10 cent packages of sauce booo read more

Had my food delivered. They burned the chow mein. NEVER has this ever happened. Ruined the meal. Time to find a better place.

If I could put 0 stars I would ! I keep trying to give y'all the benefit of the doubt and keep trying to order food but this is by far the WORST food I have received. the chow mein - terrible all I got was a bunch of nasty cabbage . My broccoli and beef isn't even cooked all the way . I don't know who you have in your kitchen but this should not be sent to any customer . Definitely shows that your "team" doesn't care about customers needs or nearly meet expectations . Coming from someone who's worked w food and ran a shop this is terrible . I will not be coming back to this location read more

This is honestly the worst location I have ever been to. I came in here with my friend for lunch and the line was not that bad, for start-offs. When coming up to the line, they had said there would be a wait for fried rice and chow mein. We were okay with that, but then we noticed more and more people walking in. They took the last guys order and placed to the side, so I thought they would mark our order too so we would be in queue. Nope. Instead, they took everyone else's order that started to come in and didn't even acknowledge us when they were the ones who suggested us to wait for them. We were literally sitting right in front of them too. Even though we waited, we got back in line because we saw that both fried rice and chow mein was ready, but guess what? Now there was no orange chicken. We waited even longer but they also were dumb to put the food in the trays, considering it was getting colder while the chicken was being cooked. In the end, my food was all cold and only thing "hot and ready" was my orange chicken. Rice was not even seasoned, tasted very cold and nothing like fried rice would be like, the chow mein tasted so bad. On top of that, it was so underserved of the amount. I saw them load up everyone else's orders, but ours. Disappointed overall and I will leave another review from my receipt. read more

Panda Express - My food they gave me messy - Chinese Near Me - Avondale, Arizona

Ordered online and was confirmed my order was ready through the app. Once I arrived they did say they had my order, then a female came up and said they didn't have white rice so they asked if I would like any other side, another female came up and said the rice would be 15 min which I was fine with but the female who was serving me reiterated her statement into 40 min. I knew the timing was wrong, they even offered for me to cancel my order, I declined the offer for chow mein or fried rice since I know that white rice is a side they basically cannot mess up. We have had this issue of items being sold out and they would not restock because "it was close to closing time", even though I ordered this at 7:00pm. read more

The food was very fresh and nice. Customer service was prompt. Was looking for wok shrimp but they didn't have them.

Worst service ever. Why be open if You cannot accommodate people?! They have you wait outside at side door for your order and no one greets you. No water offered. It's over 100 degrees. Nowhere shaded to sit. Crazy. Save your money. Don't come here. read more

Placed an online delivery order. I ordered 2 of the two entree plates. I requested teriyaki chicken in both plates, neither plate had it in the meal. And, they sent a very very limited amount of the sides and other entree, the orange chicken was dry, no flavor. But NO teriyaki chicken. The chicken egg roll and was dry, chewy and cold. And how can you mess up a ragoon. Sad, taste like it was left from the day before. This is my third bad experience at this location, but thought I would give it another try. And this is the last. In the trash and waste of money. read more

Worst panda ever! Staff was rude, they didn't have everything ready after being open almost an hour. There was already a line of people standing around waiting for items to be prepared. I also ordered a drink and had to wait around and wave someone down to give me the cup. Their ice machine was being held together by chopsticks. read more

Panda Express - Worst panda ever! - Chinese Near Me - Avondale, Arizona

I came here for my birthday dinner, had an online order and semi-expected it to be decent... you know? I come in and get my order, usually I trust places via online orders to get everything right. Something was telling me to check the bag; not only did they put like HALF A SCOOP of orange chicken in my bowl, they forgot the rangoons I ordered as well. There were no sauces, no forks, no napkins and I'm surprised they still remembered the fortune cookies. I'm not coming back to this location. It's by far the worst I've ever been to; how this one is rated so high I'm not even sure. read more

Food was good, that was the best part. I placed my order, paid for it then I waited 15 min. Seen countless people get their order. To the point where I had to walk up and ask about my order, nobody knew what was going on. So they start to prepare my order, then I have to end up waiting even longer since they ran out of 2 items I asked for. Good food, not organized. read more

Worst Panda Express I have ever been to. Waited for ever for my food and got 3 pieces of chicken in my mushroom chicken and the broccoli beef has no flavor whatsoever. I will be contacting the general manager tomorrow about this. Don't waste your time going here. read more

After a long boring day i go to panda! Three different entrees were ordered and I must say all of the food came out hot and great! the orange chicken was perfect nice and fresh not too spicy. The rice was crispy and fresh and there was a great rice to veggie portion. The black pepper chicken was nicely prepared not to much pepper. The meals were great and I would recommend this joint to anyone in the mood for Chinese food! Oh And the staff was great. Friendly fast and filled with laughter and smiles. The male staff were all good lookin too; plus for the ladies and the female staff were cute as well; a plus for the men. read more

Worse experience for delivery... 1st time I ordered online and we got a lot of food... The teriyaki chicken was burnt; I just gave it to my dogs. Everything else fine... Tried it again last night, delivery again... Food eta 7:17pm when I got it by 7:35pm. Not bad. How could it be worse... Opened that box and why was ALL the teriyaki chicken burnt and the greens were dry and old. I called 3 X's no pick; I want to say there was a recording. I went on break from work; drove my delivered food back which I tipped 20%. In my eyes they owe me now!!! I explained what happened and wanted to be compensated which the young lady said of course. They made me another plate, but said it would take 12 min. It actually took 35 min because they were understaffed; there was people everywhere looking displeased. I got my food and asked how I would be compensated and the server said I don't know how the other server said we could do that when she does not have authority to make that decision. Meanwhile the other server was gone; the young woman said let me get me shift lead which the person would not come out. The server said call and speak to the Mgr tomorrow which I said you guys don't pick up and another lady co-signed and said you guys' do not. I'm writing corporate. I sat so long and one lady came up and they said her meal was not ready and the girl offered her a drink. I feel discriminated against and it was the worse experience. No one asked me if I wanted a drink... Someone there could have made things right; even if they gave me the delivery fee back or said here's a meal on us. Sometimes executive sections have to made by the little man/woman. The service was horrible and then another jumped in and said you see they're understaffed... So this was my issue... It's typically busy in there and something needs to be done, meal ready by a certain time or meal on us. I was so disappointed in everything. I should have taken a picture of my food. Taking a lackadaisical approach was not a good thing! I had to add a star, but really this service deserved NEGATIVE read more

Panda is panda. The food is pretty consistent thru out their locations. This location specifically gets a bad survey for their incompetence. Im not expecting world class service, but I'm expecting what I pay for. They CAN NOT get an online order right if their business depended on it and the fact that management hasn't fixed this is ridiculous. Every single time I order online I don't ever get what I paid for. They have told me flat out "they take priority over the in store customers" over having my food ready when I get their in a timely manner. They also can't seem to provide you with fresh food or the right food. I placed a simple order for white rice, chow mein and chicken teriyaki. I get home with my order to no teriyaki sauce for my CHICKEN TERIYAKI. How does that make sense? Don't offer a service if you can't perform. Plain and simple. read more

This is probably the worst experience I've had here. Staff seemed openly annoyed with all of the customers, made odd conversation that was unnecessary entirely, my friend caught numerous staff members making mean faces at us and whispering... just all over an uncomfortable experience. I understand we came a half an hour before closing but I don't think feeling like a nuisance and being made to feel strange in any restaurant is ok. Will go to other locations next time even if it's a bit out of the way. read more

The food was very well prepared and the staff were very nice. The woman working Gabe me the choice between the last little left over bits of chow mein or waiting a few minutes for the new batch to finish which I was very grateful for. The restaurant was clean and service was definitely prompt. The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because the parking situation is a nightmare. I spent more time trying to get out of the parking lot than I did actually getting and paying for my food, including waiting begins the very large line ahead of me on the restaurant. Because of this I will unfortunately never come back to this location. read more

11/3/2016 Yelp review Panda Express 10110 McDowell, Avondale, AZ 85323 (623) 907-1322 https://www.pandaexpress.com/ I have been to Panda Express many times in the past. From the orange chicken to walnut shrimp, I have been a fan of Panda Express since I moved to Arizona. For the record, I have not been to a Panda Express out of Arizona so I am not an expert. When I lived in Pasadena, California, Panda Express was not in my area so I never tried it in California. Yet in Arizona, I have been to five different locations of Panda Express in the past year. I live near Avondale so I eat at this location the most. I rate this location a four out of five stars. The food at the McDowell location had been very consistently good. From my order, the fried rice with egg was warm and tasteful. The fried rice has 520 calories. The orange chicken wasn't very orange but It had a great fresh taste. The orange chicken was 320 calories. The walnut shrimp was delicious and had never failed me in the past. The walnut shrimp has 150 calories. Every time I go to Panda, I order orange chicken and walnut shrimp. The walnut shrimp is glazed with sweet honey. Although I did not order broccoli and beef, the broccoli and beef deserves an honorable mention. The broccoli and beef is also very good with 150 calories. If you are interested in any other foods in the menu, you can visit the panda express website (https://www.pandaexpress.com/menu/entrees). The price of my meal was $10.93 for one entree and for a medium drink. Normally, I would only buy one side of entree but today, I was very hungry. I added Walnut shrimp. Panda Express can be really pricey with walnut shrimp. For walnut shrimp, the price rose by $1.25. In general, panda is a bit pricey for fast food because they make the food fresh but I think that the price is worth it. The taxes for my meal was 88 cents. The prices for 1 plate are mostly all the same. Unless you order special foods, you will spend relatively the same amount of money for every panda express visit. When I walked into Panda Express during lunch time, I was quickly serviced by an employee. In the time, I walked in and out, ten minutes had passed. I expected a 10-minute wait to order but there were no customers in line. The lady working was very humble because I was very unsure with what wanted from the menu at the time. The other customers eating were politely quiet. Usually the McDowell location is very busy but I did not have a problem when I visited today. Once I figured out what I wanted to order, I ordered and payed. The parking was easy. There was plenty of spaces to park because most of the people were in the drive thru. If you are planning on using the drive thru be careful, I have seen many cars in line. After I left the parking lot, I noticed they did not mess up my order at all. I recommend this location for anyone in the area. [535 wds.] read more
