Excellent! Probably the best place to order pizza from without going downtown. :)

The other day my wife did complain saying it was too tasty, LOL. They also did a wonderful job of delivery, they really try to get it to you on time. Thanks, Lain

Part 2 of 2: Some…read moredishes I quite liked, such as Keto Grillin' (my favourite), Macro Shred, Paleo Foody, The Sea Ghost, Vegan Pump, Italian Passion, Iron Macros, and Seaside Paleo; but the majority of the dishes were so-so and not worth ordering again, and the Globe Trottin' Keto was downright nasty (I don't know if it had gone bad, but it tasted somewhat rotten). Also, the wraps were awful -- dry and bland. I initially really liked the Daybreak wrap -- it was moist, cheesy, and flavourful, but when I ordered it again, it was dry and bland like the others. Conclusion: some of their food is pretty good (for the most part, they do steak, chicken, and potato/yam mashes well), but most of it is meh, and for $12.99 to $15.99 per meal, it is not worth ordering. And if I do find something I really like, I can't always re-order it because the menu changes every week. Despite being disappointed with the majority of the dishes, I decided to place an order last week. I ordered: my favourites Keto Grillin' and Macro Shred; Grecian Keto (chicken souvlaki with cheese and zucchini fritters, cauliflower hummus, and tzatziki), Those Thighs Oh My (paprika-seasoned chicken thighs, mashed potatoes, grilled zucchini, and red onion), T-Rex Goes Hunting (beef and broccoli stir fry over brown rice), and Sexy and You Know It (blackened chicken breast over pasta with sun-dried tomato sauce). The T-Rex Goes Hunting and Sexy and You Know It dishes were quite good (I'd re-order again), but I was disappointed with the Grecian Keto and Those Thighs Oh My. That being said, would I order from them again? Probably, from time to time. However, I will not be regularly ordering from them as there aren't always dishes I like, and when I try something new, the majority of the dishes are just so-so. Not bad, but not worth the price. Give them a try, and if you like their food, awesome! Note that they only deliver on Sundays and Mondays (you must place an order by Thursday of the previous week), and the delivery fee is a very reasonable $5 for orders under $100 (free delivery over $100).

This is an interesting quick service airport restaurant. They have hot meals, grab-and-go cold…read moremeals, baked goods, coffee/tea, packaged snacks, and a full bar. Lots of locally made food is available. I like this place because it gives you an authentic taste of Vancouver and because it punches above its weight in terms of quality for the type of restaurant it is. The baked goods are sourced from reputable local bakeries. The main supplier used to be Purebread but seems to have switched to Swiss Bakery, which I was initially skeptical of because I feel like Purebread is hard to beat, but the Swiss Bakery chocolate pecan bar I got was quite good. The hot food bar (rotisserie chicken and various sides that can also be ordered on their own) is very good for pre-cooked food. The flavours are interesting and it feels like healthy food. The fresh-made sandwiches were also very good (especially the smoked salmon bagel sandwich), and the stuff from the grab-and-go fridge is probably also the best airport grab-and-go I've tried. The pizza was kind of a letdown. The crust was too dry and crispy, and the cheese was kind of oily. They used a blend of cheddar and mozzarella, and I think just mozzarella would've been better. I don't like to promote the big chains, but I think that Vino Volo has a better veggie pizza. The coffee and tea are pretty good! The coffee and chai is from Parallel 49th Roasters. I especially like the chai! The people working here are friendly most of the time. Sometimes you get a cashier who comes across as indifferent and mentally checked out. There's a decent amount of seating behind the shop area. Some of the tables have outlets. I see staff cleaning often.

After having a late lunch at Jetside at the hotel, we decided to have dinner at The Globe. The…read morerestaurant has been on my list for Vancouver as it was listed in a Food Journey's book I have. We were seated next to the window which was great as we could watch planes come and go. Our server came over quickly, brought water and took our drink orders. We decided to start with the beer bread served with honey, and butter topped with bee pollen. The bread was cut in manageable chunks and was really very good. Mr. B chose the Salmon dish, and he really enjoyed the meal. I ordered the truffle and mushroom risotto. While the dish was really flavorful, creamy and had a hint of truffle, it had large chunks, even whole mushrooms which was odd for risotto. I wished the mushrooms were cut in small pieces and were a compliment to the risotto instead of filling the spoon so it was hard to get a bite of risotto and mushroom together. We were tired as we had been traveling for a while and we had an early flight the next morning, and really expected a dining experience. We should have waited to order our dinners instead of ordering them with the bread, as our meals were quickly out of the kitchen. The restaurant is a little tired and the finish was peeling off of our chairs. It just didn't feel as special as everything I had read made it sound. While the food was good, it just didn't meet our expectations. But if you are there for the night, I would recommend it as otherwise it is fast food in the airport.

I've been travelling through YVR for several years now being based in Vancouver but didn't realise that the Fairmont hotel on site had a bar and restaurant that was open to the public . Prices aren't cheap but the service is fantastic and honestly the views and ambience are very comparable to what a decent lounge would be with the exception that you're actually paying for a meal and drinks ( but if you are used to paying $80 USD for a lounge pass access you can think of you just using the money towards actually food and beverage). They also have live music on certain days . Evenings are usually crowded but mornings and afternoons are less crowded. Would recommend!
