Went in to get a haircut, and like always I'm very anxious when it comes to someone new cutting my hair, but the people here were amazing and made me feel really comfortable it's a great atmosphere. I want to be specific when I tell you my review rating is about Laura. Laura deserves a big 0, but zero is not available. I have never been quite so inclined to write a negative review until I met Laura. I walked into a very nice salon & was greeted by the stylist named Laura with the exact words "I had you at 3:30." Her lousy attitude rang through loud & clear. I looked at the clock & I was a few minutes late. I did try to call but to be honest her disapproving & rude comment is what matters. When I did call the salon, 3 times, I heard something close to 'both our lines are busy...we'll call you back or please leave a message.' I left one message. After her miserable introduction & as soon as she saw me look at the clock, she said "I had an hour and a half to do a cut & full weave & I have someone coming in at five." Her words kept putting that foot of hers back in her mouth. She approved my appointment a week earlier, she knew what I wanted & had no problems then. She didn't even bother to call me & ask to reschedule. It was absolutely a big lack of professional character, I am assuming she has some. I am very good with words & yet I seldom want to use them to respond negatively, this time it's different. Laura unfortunately does not understand that her job, her employment, her return business & her referrals are going to rely on her ability to behave with professional courtesy & she failed miserably today. She had penciled in another client giving herself an hour & a half for a cut & full weave. No one does a cut & full weave in that time. Regardless of time, she needs to apologize to her boss who booked my appointment a week prior. Shirley excused herself from our conversation to speak with Laura before booking my appointment. Laura sadly does not understand the value of clientele. Her boss, Shirley, also the salon owner, was pleasant, kind & professional on the phone. I truly think this woman has her hands full if she employ's many like Laura. If my experience had continued to be handled the way Shirley seemed to value her customer's, I would probably be giving a great review. I hope Laura can learn that employment should not be handled so irresponsibly. I am just glad my money stayed in my pocket. Again, this review is about the stylist & not the entire salon. It's just too bad she represented herself so poorly. read more

OMG I LOVE THIS SALON! Ally does my nails and Laura does my hair. They're both AMAZING and I haven't gone anywhere else since switching over to this place. I've also had the pleasure of Brooke doing my hair once when Laura was away and I couldn't wait. She is also just as fantastic! You will never be ignored here or left standing and staring at the walls (though the walls here are pretty!) while waiting to be serviced. As soon as someone sees you step one foot in the door they welcome you immediately. The atmosphere is warm, pretty, and girl-powery. Free coffee too! read more

Had my first haircut here yesterday. Jilian was my stylist. I was looking for an undercut pixie/bob and brought lots of pictures. Jilian listened to my ideas and questions, asked some questions, and translated all that into a haircut that would work for my face, hair texture, and lifestyle. That's a tall order! Today was my first time at Panache at the recommendation of my SIL. I have never let anyone cut my hair besides my best friend back home in NJ but being stationed here on Edwards AFB I was in desperate need for a cut with no plans for a trip home due to my newborn! My hair was a mess! I dye it myself and due to an unfortunate decision to go from red to black and back to red again 2 years ago - well I used too much bleach and my BFF had to save me from my broken hair, basically cut it all off! I had been afraid to touch it since because I was desperate for my length back. Anyway, today I had an appointment with Bianca and she was awesome! She did exactly what I wanted - cut off the broken ends and no more, keeping the length but evening out my layers. Also, nothing better than a good blow out. She made it look good without a flat iron which I have never seen before as my hair is thick and curly. It looks 100% better!! When I first went to Panache I was in dire straits, I had travelled from Australia for a 12 month stay in the area. My last hair colour before leaving home was a disaster. My hairdresser and I decided it might be fun to give my blonde bob some subtle pink highlights. Unfortunately a chemical reaction caused the semi-permanent soft pink to turn into 'rock chick' hot pink permanent streaks. Due to my work commitments I couldn't stay like that so we (my Aussie hairdresser and I) decided to dye my hair auburn to hide the disaster. So a few weeks later I arrive at Panache, feeling low and not like my usual self. The welcome I received was amazing, all the staff were just fantastic and very understanding of my dilemma. Pleased with what I saw I made an appointment with Yazmin. Well just four months later and I'm a blonde again and I couldn't be happier. Yazmin has been just wonderful. The care she has taken not only to get me back to blonde but doing it while maintaining the condition of my hair is nothing short of miraculous. I love the place so much, I also regularly see Ashley the most amazing massage therapist and Sara the coolest beauty therapists ever. So first off I decided to come to Panache for all the reviews. I am super worried about seeing a new hair dresser and was really stressed about it since my hair is really thin. Now after reading the reviews and going to the salon I have to say everyone is completely right. They are so friendly from the time you call to make an appointment from the time you leave. Everyone made me really comfortable. The stylist I saw was Angela and she did a really great job she was so nice, telling me different things I could use for my hair and really attentive she was by my side most of the time. Went to Panache last week for the first time. Chose to go there because of the great reviews here on Yelp. I had shoulder length brown hair with blond highlights all one length, no bangs. I wanted black color and bangs. Phone call answered by Laura (I believe) great customer service! Felt at ease as she asked what I wanted done and was confident that she would place me with a stylist that knew how to tackle my radical request. Yasmin would be the one, and I LOVE her! She was patient and very knowledgable! Gave me great advice, didn't push products on me and I ended up with probably the best cut and color I've had in a very very long time!! This place is the best! Sophia saw me for a consultation and scheduled me very quickly. I have a TON of hair and she looked at the pics I had for ideas and went to work. She spent A LOT of time doing the color, thinning, and styling and charged me soooooo much less than I expected. I have never loved my hair this much. It was so much better than I could have imagined. She also gave me instructions on how to care for my hair to keep the color. I am 2 weeks in and it still looks amazing and I receive so many compliments on my hair. Everyone in the salon was super friendly and seemed to all do amazing work (I was there for awhile so I could people watch ) but Sophia has my heart and hair! read more

I got a cut and color and it is awesome! She listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. The staff are all very friendly and made me feel comfortable there. I highly recommend Yazmin!! I have really thick wavy hair, and Yazmin is amazing at getting it to feel like a have normal hair (not thick) - all without thinning it!!! I've used many hairdressers over the years, and am beyond thrilled I discovered Yazmin. I always have blonde foils, and prior to seeing Yazmin you could see the bands from each application. Yazmin is so careful and thorough that she picked this up instantly and had no issues in fixing it. No hairdresser has ever done this before (and I've previously spent a fortune at some of the best salons). The price is fantastic at Panache also. Panache is beautiful! Jillian, she is the one to see at Panache. I recently moved to lancaster and was looking for a place to do my hair. I went in for highlights and immediately felt right at home. Everyone is so sweet and accommodating. Jillian really listens to what u want done. I had taken in pictures to show her what direction I wanted to go, I was going from a boxed "dark brown" to blonde highlights. Getting all that dark color out was no easy task. But she did it without damaging my hair one bit. She'll even do research of her own, in looking for pictures of similar hair colors to make sure you're both on the same page. She's great at explaining everything she's doing, about to do, what she's putting in your hair, why and how it's going to help.
