I went to go do my hair here by a lady named hair_bychloeee found her on instagram she seemed nice but did not deliver results claimed my color wouldn't show the first time due to medication i spend about 5 HOURS in the chair the first time she did not do an even solid color went back the second time she claimed would be easier to go lighter once of the medication was not my goal was a light brown color she even bleached my hair the first time and one week later i go still not sticking and she decided to paint my hair BLACK like i would've went to the drugstore myself to do my hair black ! As someone who once took pride in writing a glowing review for Ojany, it saddens me to finally get to this point. Although I have gone off and on, I have seen over the years that she is later and later with appointments. Almost an hour this time. I explained immediately that we needed to leave for another appointment by 1pm, allowing 3 hours for the hair appointment.... 4 hours later and 2 other people sandwiched in we were rushing to get out with an INCOMPLETE job, in which she decided to charge $95 for. This appointment was for my 11 year old, who had to endure having her hair pulled and tugged on, as she tried to comb through tangles with the pressing comb. She's done my daughter's hair before, but this time she decided to be lazy and careless. I waited several weeks before posting this to give Ojany a chance to rectify the situation, but she just continued to be argumentative, and then silent. Considering the fact that she didn't even have to use her own products on a child's hair that was incomplete after 4 long hours while she juggled us with 2 other people, what she insisted on charging was utter disrespect. read more

The first time I went to set and dry I was blown away. My hair was a mess and the color correction that was done was plain awesome. A few months later I decided to get ombré. Worst decision ever. After my appointment I looked simply horrible so I called my hair stylist and told her that this was unacceptable. She agreed after seeing the pictures and offered me to correct it. I went in there again, was there for about 4 or 5 hours and it still didn't come out correct. I understand that my hair might not "grab" the color but having dark spots in between and a line that is not even straight is horrible. The stylist offered to talk to the owner and call me back in two days the latest. After not hearing from her after two days I decided to send her a text message after 5 days and I still haven't heard back. So off to yet finding another hair dresser I go spending my money... this is not what customer service should look like. However, if you are looking for a color correction you won't be disappointed. read more

I had not been into a salon in a year. I saw all the good reviews and looked forward to a great experience. This was the worst experience I have ever had I was so disappointed. The stylist Ojany I was scheduled with was very unprofessional. She was doing hair on like 3 different people at the same time. The haircut was not what I asked for. She paid no mind to how long she let the hair dye sit when she walked off for about 45 minutes. Then she rubbed hair off from the front top of my head trying to rub away hair dye. I had previously gone to a beauty school salon to get an ombre color. Of course, it didn't turn out quite the way I had hoped, so I sought out a stylist that could do a corrective color on me to make things right. I found my stylist Jorge sort of by accident, after stumbling upon some photos of his work on local FB groups. I messaged him right away and booked my 1st appointment within a week. He was super nice, took time to find out exactly what I wanted, and he explained the approach he was going to take on my hair. The results were amazing. I wanted to get the brassy color out of my hair and start transitioning to an ashy blonde balayage. I had been to other stylists over the years who didn't quite hear me out when I said I wanted the color to be pretty ashy. Jorge got it! My hair lifted beautifully and it came out ashy and silver and I LOVED IT! I just went back for my 2nd visit to touch up the blonde, and he did blended the colors more, and got more of the brassy color out. If you need corrective color, go see Jorge! He's always running specials on treatments, and he is amazing at styling and makeup too! I will be using him for a special event in the next few months. read more

Beware and take your business elsewhere. I went in wanting a balayage which included covering my gray hairs at the root as well. The next morning as I was styling my hair I noticed that my gray hairs were a brassy color. I messaged the stylist with a picture and asked him to retouch it, he said he could do it but I needed to pay. His excuse for charging me more money was that initially he had covered the gray hairs as a courtesy, which I never asked for anything to be done as a courtesy. If you get your hair done here or anywhere, get an itemized receipt before you leave so that if you need something fixed they can't tell you it was done as the courtesy. read more

I booked an appointment online using their website. I was a little nervous because when I booked it didn't give me the name of a specific stylist but I went ahead anyway. When my appointment came on Saturday I realized there was only one stylist, Lucy, in the whole salon and she was already attending to her clients. She asked me if I had some time that she would go ahead and do me in between her clients. I'm so glad that I stayed! I showed her some pictures of what I wanted and she helped me tweak it for my face shape. The cut came out so much better than I imagined. She was warm and friendly and even styled my hair for me. Today how ever had an appointment at 9:15 am. No one even showed up to the shop until 9:27 am. Business hours marked on door that they are open at 9:00 am. The young lady was very nice how ever when I made the appointment the day before I was very honest about how frizzy my hair can get if It's not blown out properly. The young lady on the phone assured me that the owner was even going to be there to make sure it was all ok. No owner was present. The young lady was fresh out of beauty school. Don't get me wrong I know it takes time to learn and she will need people to learn on. My issue is if I'm going to a "blow dry bar" my blow out needs to be 100%! If she is in need of "training " she shouldn't be charging should be asking for individuals to allow her to practice. I'm sorry I didn't have the time to to be her "practice". Especially when I got the appointment because I was going to an event. If having a "newbie" in the shop alone with no one to help her learn is normal I'm sorry for this review. After spending over 2 hours at your shop my hair was super frizzy and I had to come home to redo it, I ended up being over a hour and half late to the event. Just a thought in the future help guide your staff don't leave them hanging with no coach to help them get better with their techniques. Again the young lady was very polite I expressed my concerns a few times and she knew I was disappointed.
