id give 6 stars if i could! Martha gave me a beautiful transformation, was so kind and considerate, and I walked out feeling like a whole new person. This was my first time ever visiting a hair salon other than supercuts and she made it the best experience ever. Of course, as a first-timer in getting my hair colored,, I had very little idea how to communicate what I wanted. I had a very complicated idea and changed my mind multiple times--no one got frustrated with me, she was very helpful to talk out my idea, and I am just so so happy with how it turned out! Even my mom was so pleased with the results that she's interested in getting her hair done, too!! Thank you guys so much for all you did I couldn't be more grateful! read more

The owner of the establishment should consider addressing the issue of their employees' conduct, as I experienced unfavorable encounters during my visits. On three separate occasions, I was charged varying prices, leading to confusion and dissatisfaction. Notably, a particular employee, described as a blond Latina, exhibited a consistently rude demeanor. Regrettably, the overall customer service at this establishment left much to be desired, evident by the lack of clientele during my visits. The individual at the front desk displayed an unprofessional attitude, failing to extend greetings or express gratitude towards customers. If you're looking for a stylist who really knows men's haircuts, I highly recommend Jeannette at the Martha Flores Salon. I'm always happy with the service and the results I get from her. As soon as I sit in the chair, I feel at ease knowing she'll cut my hair just the way I like it. Jeannette takes her time, she's warm and easy to talk to, and I always leave feeling confident and well cared for. Bonus: the salon is conveniently located next to Vons and Starbucks, so if needed you can do some grocery shopping or get your java fix. read more

The whole entire head of hair is lopsided as if it was cut by a drunk on a boat. In a hurricane. I had to physically run out of there to keep myself from yelling. If she cut it anymore it would've had to become a pixie. Use caution. You get what you pay for.

I had always gone to barbers, so I was a bit dubious about getting my hair cut at a salon. George is way better than any barber. I don't know how he does it, but my hair still looks good as it grows out, and I don't need to do much to make it presentable before going out. I have some severe cowlicks around the crown of my head, and if cut poorly it looks like I'm balding (or maybe I'm actually balding and George is great at protecting my ego). Either way, George takes care of this with the way he cuts my hair. He'll analyze the way your hair grows and cut it to work for you. If you're losing your hair, George is skilled enough to cut it so that it looks good anyway. If you want advice on how to stop hair loss and maybe grow it back, George is very knowledgeable and will be happy to dish out some advice while he cuts your hair. Obviously it's more expensive than a barber, but the quality is so much better that it's actually a superior bargain in my opinion. And it's way better than buzzing your own hair and putting a stupid hat on.

She told me they would still show, but even after the redo, there were still no visible highlights, and the final result was still far from what I had requested. I don't like arguing or making a scene, so I accepted it and left. However, I'm extremely disappointed that I spent over $400 and didn't receive the hair color I was promised. Now I have to pay another salon to fix it. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this salon. If a stylist isn't confident they can achieve a specific look, it's better to be honest from the beginning rather than promise something that can't be delivered.

Mine cost $150." I found that comment incredibly rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. A customer's belongings should be treated with respect regardless of their value, and making fun of someone who isn't there reflects poorly on the level of professionalism in the salon. I believe customers deserve to be treated with kindness and respect, whether they're present or not. I hope she's not the owner because comments like these create an unwelcoming atmosphere.
