I trusted her, especially since I wanted my hair done for my birthday. During the appointment, she had an assistant working on my hair who clearly seemed inexperienced. I was never asked if I was comfortable with the assistant doing part of the service. I understood everyone has to learn, so I didn't say anything. When my hair was finished, I was disappointed. It came out much darker than what I had asked for and looked nothing like my inspiration photo. To her credit, Alexis acknowledged it was too dark and offered to redo it free of charge. I went back for the correction. Before she started, I asked about the highlights because I couldn't see any. She told me they would still show, but even after the redo, there were still no visible highlights, and the final result was still far from what I had requested. I don't like arguing or making a scene, so I accepted it and left. However, I'm extremely disappointed that I spent over $400 and didn't receive the hair color I was promised. Now I have to pay another salon to fix it. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this salon. If a stylist isn't confident they can achieve a specific look, it's better to be honest from the beginning rather than promise something that can't be delivered.

I was very clear and wanted to keep my length. Right from the start, the stylist I believe her name was Bianca older gal. With salt and pepper hair. She began cutting my hair while it was dry also asked me to stand out of my seat while cutting. I've been to several salons and never experienced that. It was unusual to me. By the end of my appointment, my hair was much shorter than I wanted, the layers look very choppy instead of soft and blended. What upset me just as much as I was treated. During the appointment, she made comments about my physical appearance that made me feel uncomfortable. I'm a Taller woman and those comments felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I also mentioned a recent shoulder surgery. Unfortunately she was rough and forceful when moving me. I left feeling disappointed not only with my hair cut but with the overall experience.
